Overall, the property was excellent. Clean, comfy bed, good amenities (fully equipped kitchen with everything you need), quiet neighbors, free parking, pool, and easy access to public transportation if you don’t rent your own vehicle. It does have a rather bad drain fly problem. They were everywhere in the apartment. I ended up buying fly tape which did help a lot but they were still everywhere. This however, wouldn’t stop me from renting again. For the price I paid to get what we got with this place, it was well worth it.

Die Unterkunft ist gut, aber hat eine laute Klimaanlage (musste sie ausschalten in der Nacht). Pool ist vorhanden, aber sieht nicht schön aus. Auf der einen Seite sind die Parkplätze und auf der anderen Seite die Strasse - rundherum oben die Apartments. Location ist gut.

Not the best for relaxation. Partial Ocean view was nice, however, Small Lanai faces busy traffic. Unit was outdated, patio door was struggle to operate & screen was even worse. Kitchen was decently stocked for cooking. Biggest disappointment was the absurdly TINY Hot Tub across the road that was barely big enough for 4 people.

Kona Bali Kai felt like a home away from home. All ammenities were in the room, including dishware and laundry. There were no added costs and the ocean was 50 yards away. The pool and hot tub were never busy, and locals and residents were great!

The location was great, but the parking was not adequate because you could only park in unreserved stalls, which were limited. And there were days that we returned to our room but there were not unreserved stalls available to park in. The parking didn't accommodate us on some days throughout our stay.

We had a "partial-view" studio in building 6 across the road from the main building. Our unit was independently managed by Castle Resorts, but we had full access to the main facilities. The pool area was underwhelming, but the laundry facilities were useful. The room was adequate. The partial view was not spectacular, and the lanai was not great. Sleeping was difficult as the room fronts a busy road, and the roosters like to wake up at 3:45 AM. Our unit was not particularly clean, the bathtub was pretty nasty, the dishes and utensils needed a thorough washing before use, and the block of knives were all dull. We did have to pay an extra $200 on arrival to the management company over and above what we had already paid through Expedia. I now see it is in the fine print, but it was an unexpected inconvenience.

This was the perfect location for our stay. We were a 1 mile drive from Magic Sands Beach and 1 mile drive to local shopping, dinning and entertainment! While we chose to drive everywhere, the location is totally walkable to all the attractions. Also, before booking I read reviews, and apparently other condos do not have AC. This one DOES have AC. Which was a nice surprise. Parking was effortless with lots of spaces available. Communication with the owner was easy. One more thing to note- they have an onsite laundry room we were able to use to do a load of laundry.

Everything was great we got to check in ourselves we came early and they let us check in early. The service when we had a problem was answered fast through the app. The Kona Bali staff was also very pleasant and very diligent. The only thing was the washer and the ac weren’t working and that would have helped a lot, but they had a laundry room for residents that we were able to use but it did cost money.. keep change on hand or use the app they have which totally saved us. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The apartment was fully stocked with what we needed and if we didn’t have something the store and market near by was convenient. The couch bed was rough but my mom tough it out. A new mattress would help a lot. The main bedroom and pillows were great. Because we were right by the beach some amenities would have been great. But other than that it was perfect for 3-4 people.

Good stay and the waves were calming. Can’t beat the ocean view. One note is that we noticed the parking permit request slips were overfilled in the mailbox. It seems many people before us also crammed their slips in. We forgot to put up our parking permit one night. When we went to our rental the follow morning we flew out, we had a green warning label on the driver side window that was difficult to take off. Our stay was great up until that point. It made us wonder if that request slip we submitted had made it to management at all. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

We loved the small unit we got. Everything worked great, we had everything we needed, the bed was great, AC unit worked great plus there were extra fans so the airflow we enjoyed was excellent. It was really a nice stay.

The place was clean but the road noise was unbearable. Keep in mind that “resort view” evidently means right next to a very busy road with outdated windows. As long as one doesn’t mind being at the complete mercy of every car, truck, bus, motorcycle, or ghetto-dweller wannabe 20 hours per day, this place is for you! It was slightly quieter in the closet. At least it compelled me to get out.

Over all the experience was not bad, we enjoyed being on the 4th floor however there was no mention of the flights of stairs and lack of elevator access in the listing. So it could have been bad situation. Also the washing machine leaked water all over the floor! The maintenance crew responded quickly however, they were told it was because we did to big of a load by the owner (which was not the case) also the condo does have 1 ac unit in the living area- however there is no air flow into the bedroom and it gets warm and stuffy in there very quickly.
Over all the experience was not bad, we enjoyed being on the 4th floor however there was no mention of the flights of stairs and lack of elevator access in the listing. So it could have been bad situation. Also the washing machine leaked water all over the floor! Great location, nice pool. Just by the sea, splendid spot for watching sunset. The unit is a bit on the older side, some aspect would need a bit of love. We left a list on the countertop for them to fix. A/C is enough for the kitchen and living room area but not for the bedroom which was very warm. It is well equipped. The bedding is sufficient for a family of four but only two counter stools for dinner. Overall, we were ok with the rental but I feel the price was a bit steep for what we got.

You need to get my money back from Vacasa, the room had no air conditioning as promised, and no one came to help me, I waited 3 times more than I was told to wait and call and checked the property. The resort staff left conveniently at the time for arrival,

We did have to pay an extra $200 on arrival to the management company over and above what we had already paid through Expedia. I now see it is in the fine print, but it was an unexpected inconvenience.
We had a "partial-view" studio in building 6 across the road from the main building. Our unit was independently managed by Castle Resorts, but we had full access to the main facilities. The pool area was underwhelming, but the laundry facilities were useful. The room was adequate. The partial view was not spectacular, and the lanai was not great. Sleeping was difficult as the room fronts a busy road, and the roosters like to wake up at 3:45 AM. Our unit was not particularly clean, the bathtub was pretty nasty, the dishes and utensils needed a thorough washing before use, and the block of knives were all dull. This was the perfect location for our stay. We were a 1 mile drive from Magic Sands Beach and 1 mile drive to local shopping, dinning and entertainment! While we chose to drive everywhere, the location is totally walkable to all the attractions. Also, before booking I read reviews, and apparently other condos do not have AC. This one DOES have AC. Which was a nice surprise. Parking was effortless with lots of spaces available. Communication with the owner was easy. One more thing to note- they have an onsite laundry room we were able to use to do a load of laundry.

Everything was great we got to check in ourselves we came early and they let us check in early. The service when we had a problem was answered fast through the app. The Kona Bali staff was also very pleasant and very diligent. The only thing was the washer and the ac weren’t working and that would have helped a lot, but they had a laundry room for residents that we were able to use but it did cost money.. keep change on hand or use the app they have which totally saved us. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The apartment was fully stocked with what we needed and if we didn’t have something the store and market near by was convenient. The couch bed was rough but my mom tough it out. A new mattress would help a lot. The main bedroom and pillows were great. Because we were right by the beach some amenities would have been great. But other than that it was perfect for 3-4 people.

Good stay and the waves were calming. Can’t beat the ocean view. One note is that we noticed the parking permit request slips were overfilled in the mailbox. It seems many people before us also crammed their slips in. We forgot to put up our parking permit one night. When we went to our rental the follow morning we flew out, we had a green warning label on the driver side window that was difficult to take off. Our stay was great up until that point. It made us wonder if that request slip we submitted had made it to management at all. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

The view was absolutely gorgeous. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean and watching the surfers and sunset. The downtown was so cute! Downfall, there wasn't an air conditioner but this made for doors open and hearing the waves while laying in bed so it ended up being enjoyable.

Property was advertised as ocean view. There was no ocean view from our room so that was a bummer. But the ocean was a 2 minute walk across the street. The area is gorgeous but just know you have to pay for parking most places down by the shops and beaches

Kona Bali Kai felt like a home away from home. All ammenities were in the room, including dishware and laundry. There were no added costs and the ocean was 50 yards away. The pool and hot tub were never busy, and locals and residents were great!

Great location, nice pool. Just by the sea, splendid spot for watching sunset. The unit is a bit on the older side, some aspect would need a bit of love. We left a list on the countertop for them to fix. A/C is enough for the kitchen and living room area but not for the bedroom which was very warm. It is well equipped. The bedding is sufficient for a family of four but only two counter stools for dinner. Overall, we were ok with the rental but I feel the price was a bit steep for what we got.
