Considering this is a Langham, I was extremely underwhelmed by the standard of this hotel. It’s quite an old building, there’s not business centre and the spa facilities and pool are very underwhelming. The facilities also seem quite old and definitely doesn’t live up to the Langham name. Overall quite disappointed as I expected a lot more having been to the one in London. Definitely wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel.

Amazing 3 night seat at The Langham. The hotel is perfectly situated in a quieter area of Boston but it’s still really easy to get to the main attractions. The hotel was excellent and the pool and amenities were top class.

Very welcoming. Room clean and comfortable. Pool and gym had all of the details that you want. Hot tub and sauna available. Staff very friendly and professional. Great location to quickly drive for good restaurants and theatres. Easy drive to universities. Will definitely return!!!

Valet parking service was horrible - we waited almost an hour for our vehicle only to find out it was on the street a half block down the whole time. They could not find it and kept telling us they were retrieving our car. Recommend parking in the below ground public parking deck that is just around the corner.

The beds are the main thing that keep me coming black, so comfortable, especially after a long day of walking around Boston. I will say we were disappointed that the inside of our coffee machine was very dirty.. something i think shouldn't be missed when cleaning since we love a good morning coffee in the room , but had to settle for going to a coffee shop. We tried ordering room service , but after waiting over 1hr we ended up calling to cancel it. For the amount of money we paid , i think they could step their game up when it comes to service and details.

I liked the location for walking to take the kids to ice skating, the aquarium, movie, and certain restaurants. I was surprised that many restaurants in the area were closed on the weekends--I heard that is because the hotel is in the financial district. I ordered room service for the kids, and they enjoyed the food (they are very picky so that's a compliment). The indoor pool was really nice for the kids. The room was nice and clean, a bit smaller than it looked in the picture, but overall nice and comfortable. The housekeeping was very good. The Manager, Elizabeth, was extremely thoughtful and helpful, which made our 5-day stay wonderful.

I recently stayed at The Langham, Boston, and had an overall wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully appointed, exuding luxury and elegance from the moment you step inside. My room was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully decorated with a refined aesthetic that made it feel warm and inviting. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. The bathroom was also very nice, though I did have some challenges with the shower. It lacked a shower curtain or enclosure, which made it somewhat tricky to use without splashing water everywhere. Although I initially wondered if it was a handicap-accessible design, the fact that I had to step over the tub suggests otherwise. The showerhead was not fixed and was detachable, which added to the difficulty (it would not stay straight!). One other hiccup during my stay was due to a booking oversight on my part. I booked through Expedia, only to later discover there was a direct room rate available at about one-third of what I paid through Expedia. Unfortunately, I was unable to renegotiate to the lower rate, which was disappointing but ultimately my own error. Despite these minor setbacks, The Langham is a fantastic property that I would happily recommend. Its exceptional comfort and stunning design truly stand out, though I’d advise others to double-check booking rates before finalizing their reservations.

Lovely stay at the Langham Boston. We were celebrating dual birthdays and they arranged a welcome surprise with balloons, champagne and treats. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was being on the same floor with many young families and pets. You could hear young children screaming and running around in the hallways in the wee hours of the morning as well as dogs barking. Not a restful sleep. For mature couples looking for a celebratory getaway, it would’ve been ideal to be out on a floor with other adults.

What a beautifully modernized building! They kept the architectural integrity of this gorgeous building in downtown Boston, and updated it with modern features, and a beautiful rooftop area! Some concerns on the rooms as they are very narrow and practically zero closet room. There was no space to put our suitcases or hang our clothes - tiny closet we had was full with the three hotel supplied robes.

Staff was very nice however, the conditioner bottle was empty while I was showering so I wasn’t able to fully use it then the bathroom door didn’t fully close. The light was very confusing how to use. Also, very upset on room service, took 30mins of no answer, then I had to call front desk to place an order then we got charged for fries we didn’t purchase and then o could believe two kids meal cost us $100!! I’m so upset at the cost we were charged.

This is the first time we have stayed at this property. The location, accommodations and staff were fantastic. I was especially impressed by the customer service provided by the staff. Every staff member greeted us personally, asked if we needed anything and invariably wished us a good day. The staff alone made our stay a pleasure-able experience.

Hotel/Restaurants - The hotel is beautiful and clean. The Fed (the in-hotel restaurant) is very nice for dinner or a drink. The food was quite good there. Grana is also in the hotel and while it's beautifully adorned (it was converted from an old bank), the food was average. The breakfast at the Executive Club on the 8th Floor was comparable - and if you're staying in any of the "Executive" rooms, it's all free. And it's quite a spread with staff that is very attentive. They're probably the most attentive staff in the entire hotel (more on that below). The Room - We stayed in the Executive Suite and it was a nice size for our family and dog. However, the rest of our family stayed in the Executive Loft and the Executive Room and both were far too small for the price, which wasn't much cheaper than the Suite. If you can afford to pay a little more, it's worth it to upgrade to the Suite. Amenities - The hotel has a fitness center and pool which are both very nice, but not overly impressive. Staff - The staff were all incredibly friendly - especially the valet folks at the front. But the guest services were very slow. We called for water and TP and it took 30 minutes. We called ahead for bell service on our check-out day and they never came. We brought our luggage down ourselves. And on our 1st night, we stepped out for a bite and the front desk manager called me multiple times about our dog barking - in a pet friendly hotel! For a 5 star hotel, it should be better.

Our stay started off a little disappointing due to the service we received from some of the staff. We found the interactions to be quite blunt, and at times, they came across as lacking care, with some responses even feeling a bit rude. However, everything changed after we spoke to a lovely lady over the phone regarding a request. She was incredibly polite, full of energy, and genuinely eager to help. When we later went downstairs to raise our concerns with the manager, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the person we had spoken to on the phone was, in fact, the manager herself – Elizabeth. Elizabeth’s warmth and positivity were absolutely contagious. She not only listened to our concerns, apologised on behalf of her team, and offered some compensation due to the issues we had faced, but she also continued to check in on us throughout our stay. Her energy and attentiveness truly transformed our experience. Simple gestures like a cheerful “good morning,” asking how our stay was going, or engaging in light conversation made such a difference – it’s the kind of care that leaves a lasting impression. A special mention also to the gentleman who came by to collect our shoes for polishing and drying—his positive energy was equally infectious and very much appreciated. Thank you so much, Elizabeth, and the shoe collection gentleman, for turning our experience around. Your kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care made a massive difference to our stay!

Great location with easy walking to other districts. Fabulous old hotel full of history but that has been tastefully renovated and upgraded. Great stay at the Langham in Boston from check-in to check-out. Beautiful hotel, lovely decor, very clean in main areas and rooms, very comfortable bed and quiet room with great a/c (was hot when we were there). Concierge was kind and helpful. All staff were very kind, friendly and professional. Complimentary coffee (machine) in lobby in the morning. Had breakfast one morning at Grana - beautiful room and had a wonderful breakfast (was sorry I didn’t discover it until my last morning). Hotel is in a downtown location, so not near “shopping” (other than Faniel Hall area shops which was maybe 5-8 min walk) but was able to walk to many of the tourist locations in 10-20 mins. Right next to a lovely little park with a cute cafe which I enjoyed as well. Felt safe at all hours. Also right at a subway station if needed. If downtown area works for your travel plans this is an excellent option! I hope to return!

Had dinner at the restaurant unfortunately it was the greatest food. The salmon was grilled and was dry and over cooked. I also had fries that were over cooked. Not what I’d expect for a hotel and restaurant of this standard.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and service, and an excellent location for getting to and from different parts of the city. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel sent us a bottle of champagne and a cake for our anniversary, which was lovely and totally unexpected. At the Fed, we enjoyed delicious cocktails and exceptional service from Matthew behind the bar. Thank you to everyone at the Langham for a memorable anniversary weekend!

Great staff, great location. Clean. Avoided in-house dining and drinking for the most part. Too pricey. Flimsy in-room coffee maker. But free passable coffee drinks available using lobby coffee maker. Lot of options. Machine is removed before noon. Lot of good dining options nearby. Many walkable and kid friendly. Recommend Lily’s, Broadside, Tradesman. Must check out The Sail Loft for their KILLER lobster roll. Do not miss.

The Grana restaurant was like any old hotel restaurant, although the food was good. The breakfast was better than the brunch. But the brunch was nothing at all like the old pre-renovation brunch. Sad.
