Convenient location, friendly staff. Some type of leaking pipe in ceiling in corridor between front desk and breakfast room.

Tight parking at front entrance to hotel. Overall it was a good place to spend a few nights when traveling through but the beds were very hard . I like the lobby coffee centre. Staff were friendly

Ice machine on 2nd floor out of order. Vending machine second floor not working. Toilets low pressure hard to flush. Poor drainage of the sink.

Desk person was great. Nice place, no elevator so if that is a problem make sure you ask for first floor. Nice breakfast.

After staying in some *meh* places recently, I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. It was one of the better Quality Inns I've stayed at. I appreciated the coin laundry on site after picking up my son from camp. Breakfast was what you'd expect for free. It was hot and even at 930 everything was still available. I'd definitely stay here again, but probably skip the breakfast next time.

Our room smelt overwhelmingly of mold, woke up many times because of a sore throat. The card keys would stop working and had to be changed many times. Our room was right in the lobby and very loud. We booked this hotel for the fact that they advertised a game room, this was closed quite a while ago according to the receptionist. The lobby smelt overwhelmingly of body odor and the doors were propped open. Very disappointed in our stay at this location. Every concern we brought up was blamed on “corporate.”

Check in was great. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The place us simple but clean and close to everything. We stayed to see a show at Maine Savings Amphitheater. There is a gated area for dogs to run around. The grass was freshly cut when we arrived.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is a bit outdated, but it is clean and convenient. Staff only clean your room once in every 3 days except you request extra cleaning.

I really only spent enough time in the place to fall asleep and shower in the morning. Didn’t have the continental breakfast. The lady at the front desk was nice. The room had a wet mildewy smell that I couldn’t shake, and there was a hair in the shower. Overall, it was what I needed - a place to crash.

The room smelled terrible. When we tried to open the window we discovered there was water dripping down the window. The carpet in the room was wet in several places. There were tacky Halloween decorations scattered around the inside of the lobby. The counter was so high at the front desk, I could barely see what I was writing. I hated this hotel and will never stay there again. We would like a full refund from Expedia. We would have left immediately except we were exhausted and didn't think we could find a new location later at night.

Room carpet needed to be replaced, smells

The hotel is very old and the rooms smell like old stale smoke. The nightly rate for this hotel was obscene. Check in was very slow and only one employee was working so this wasn’t her fault. The mattresses were stained and there was so much dust and filth in the fans and bathroom fan. I couldn’t wait to get out of this hotel. I can’t say how the food was because I wouldn’t dare try it. I wish I could get some money back because this was such a rip off.

Rooms were very musty smell. Moldy dirty- smelled awful- requested another room-same thing- we just walked out and stayed at Hilton Garden instead. Will NEVER go back to this hotel again- STAY AWAY - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Room smelled musty. Hallways smelled like smoke and musty, but covered with pumpkin spice. Beds extremely soft. Just awful.

In a good area. Clean room. Minimal but acceptable breakfast. Staff was friendly. Forget housekeeping if you’re staying less than 3 days, they don’t even replace towels unless you find someone and ask. We certainly don’t need anyone to make the bed, we are capable, but clean towels would be appreciated. The TV was a mess, poor or absent signal, miss matched channels. Otherwise an average place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms, halls and breakfast area are extremely clean. What we didn't like was how extremely tiny the double bed rooms are.The furniture is old and and nothing at all is updated. The refrig isn't cold and yes we adjusted thae temperature of the refrig. The coffee is like water or mud there's no happy medium when it came to the coffee. The beds were comfortable but small, full size when most hotels feature queen size beds these days. The continental breakfast was good but we were there from Sunday to Thursday and the breakfast was the same every single day. Again hotels today usually change it up a little. Honestly the biggest compliant is the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in and the best compliment is the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Though I don't believe we would stay there again unless traveling solo.

The heat pump in room 127was very noisy especially the first night so we had to turn it off. The breakfast was average. The staff was friendly.

Staff was friendly, room was outdated but clean. Most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable.

Hotel is dated, but the beds are very comfortable. The most important part for a good nights sleep!

All in all not a bad place at all nor was I expecting it to be. Great for a bed to sleep in and breakfast for the start of your day. What more can you ask for!? I’m sure if the windows weren’t so thin, the outside noises would be less (not that there was much at all). That is really the only thing “negative” I can think of. Thanks for great stay

I stayed at a Quality Inn for a long stay and had a mixed experience. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was decent, but the walls were so thin that you really hear everything. The bed and pillows were comfortable, though the bed sheets generated a lot of static. There was a draft of cold air coming through the wall plug, and my bedroom window was cracked. On the bright side, the staff was very nice and accommodating.

There is no sink in the bathroom? Our room keys didn't work half the time. The room smelled like paint or very strong cleaning supplies EVERY time we walked in. Couldn't smell it in the hallways couldn't smell it anywhere else... just in the room. Also did I mention... There was no sink in the bathroom it was in the walkway to get into the room... That works great with 4 people trying to shower and get ready.

The fan was very noisy. Sound paases between rooms easily. You don't feel you have much privacy when you can hear guests in the next room so clearly.

Hotel has charged me double of what i booked for. Now have to deal with disputes. I confronted some of the charges at checkout and was told it will all be correct when final charges are sent to bank. They have charged each day twice on my card.

The door handle came off inside the room. If I hadn't known how to put it back on myself, we would have been briefly trapped in the room. I asked the front desk and they said "nothing we can do! The hotel is fully booked and there's no maintenance person at this hour." They offered no alternatives.

I arrived after midnight, and had specifically booked here because i had a cat with me and it said they were pet friendly. I was turned away saying they were a "dog only" pet friendly hotel. Nowhere does it specify the distinction between the pets. Had to go find a different hotel

My recent experience with transportation services at Quality Inn was unfortunately subpar and left much to be desired. Despite the convenience of the hotel's location, my morning departure experience was marred by several significant issues. Firstly, my scheduled LYFT driver did not arrive, which caused considerable inconvenience and stress, especially given the early hour and the urgency of making it to the airport on time. This lack of punctuality from the transportation service provider reflects poorly on the reliability and coordination efforts of the hotel. Secondly, when seeking assistance from the front desk manager, I encountered further disappointment. The manager was unhelpful and seemingly unprepared to handle such situations. Instead of offering viable alternatives or efficiently resolving the issue, she stepped out to smoke, leaving me without guidance or support at a critical time. This lack of professionalism and preparedness was deeply frustrating, especially considering the importance of timely transportation arrangements for guests. Moreover, the manager's inability to provide any useful suggestions for alternative transport options at 5 am was alarming. This basic oversight suggests a need for improved training and readiness among hotel staff to handle unexpected situations effectively. Such incidents not only inconvenience guests but also reflect poorly on the hotel's commitment to customers.

Check in was super easy! Staff is welcoming and friendly. New employee was training and they acknowledged me and let me know it would be a short wait for check in. I appreciate at least being acknowledged. It’s the difference between great customer service and good customer service. Room was clean and tidy! One of the best in Bangor at a reasonable rate.

We stayed here during our visit to Maine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an upgraded room which was nice. Breakfast was good.

It was fine for a 2 night stay for shopping. The entrance wasn't obvious so we drove all the way around the building to find it. The first night there were cookies (a nice touch), but the second night there were none. Too lazy to make them, I guess. Otherwise it was clean and did the job.

The hotel was very clean and convenient and quiet at night, despite being on a busy street near the Bangor Mall. It is not a particularly attractive area, but if you can overlook that, it is a very reasonable place to stay.

At breakfast, a variety of more fruits would be great, even if you add fruit cups. All the staff we lovely, very helpful. The mall close buy doesnt have too many shops anymore, but there are still a number of shops close by that are easily accessible by walking. I will definitely be back in the future

The staff weee very welcoming and the hotel overall was clean. However the first room we were given smelled very musty and Smokey. The staff accommodated us and moved us to another room which was better. Breakfast was ok good selection of continental foods. Waffle maker was a hit with the kids however there was inappropriate shows for our children being played on the TV in the breakfast room.

This has been our second stay at the quality inn at Bangor Mall. Hotel and room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Great selection for breakfast. Hotels close to all the things you need in Bangor. Staff is friendly and inviting.
