Nothing new to us here, was very comfortable, the pool was taken out of service the 2nd day. They keep having issues with the pool heater, pool hours may have changed to 9pm which isn't convenient if you come down for shopping, meal and then a swim iunless you complete eveything early. Breakfast is pretty good, its a warm one which seems rare now but, nice.

The Quality Inn seems to have come a long way and sends updates in many areas. However, there is still areas for improvement. Totally boggled my mind that there is no elevator while having an indoor pool. It also left much to be desired from the outside. The parking lot was so disheveled that we were wary of what the inside would look like. The overall cleanliness was questionable at times, and there is definitely limited attention given to the nooks and crannies (like the pool area, the vending machine area, laundry area, and trash receptacles). Didn't expect too much at the price point, and wasn't overly disappointed by the experience, but did note areas that could be improved.

Disappointed by Pool and Cleanliness Issues – Wouldn’t Return I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised an indoor pool, but unfortunately the pool was unusable during my entire 3-night stay—it was green and clearly not being maintained. That was a big letdown, as having access to a pool was a major reason I chose this property. There were several other issues throughout the stay. The trash bins outside and in the lobby by the vending machines were overflowing the entire time. By the time I checked out on the 4th day, the lobby trash was so full you couldn’t even add anything else. The ice machine was also leaking water across the floor, creating a potential slipping hazard. On a more positive note, breakfast was decent and had a few hot options. I just wish they had included some fresh fruit like apples, oranges, or bananas for a healthier option. Overall, the hotel needs better maintenance and attention to cleanliness. I don’t see myself returning unless significant improvements are made.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was plentiful and good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The parking lot had a lot of potholes and was noisy at night with people lingering outside occasionally. The hotel didn’t have an elevator and was inconvenient for guests staying on the second floor.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our rooms and the halls were not clean. There was left over femanine hygiene products and clumps of hair left in the 2 rooms we stayed in. The pool was dirty and green. Although it was a nonsmoking hotel the halls smelled of tobacco and Marijuana. The continental breakfast had great options and the Mexican restaurant next door was delicious!

Our initial room smelled musty and we discovered black mold in the corner of the room. Was also in poor condition - chipped paint on the wall, garbage still in the garbage can under a new bag, leftovers on the fridge from previous guest. Front desk staff were very accommodating and moved us to a different room. This has no mold smell but it smelled like pot. We were able to air it out by opening the window while we were out. Parking lot is full of very deep potholes. Overall quite run down and poor condition facility. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok although there was no orange juice left when we went at 8:15am and no fruit options.

There was a strange odor walking into the hotel. Once in the room, the smell worsened. It smelled like stale cigarettes. The bed was clean, but the rest of the room could use a good cleaning. The floor needed to be washed. There was ketchup stuck to the wall and on the floor below. The various surfaces had been wiped, but probably without any soap. We've stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It's economical when passing through Bangor. This stay was disappointing. Cleanliness is important.

The breakfast was good the floors in the room were so dirty that my feet stuck to it. I changed rooms and it did it the same. I end up wiping the floor clean with one of their white towels and it was black I was finished.

The rooms are ok but got out of the shower and my feet turned dirty from the floor which was sort of gross. The staff are friendly. The pool water is green and extremely cold. There is trash all around the outside of the building like people emptied trash cans then didn't move the bags to a dumpster. The fluffy little waffles at breakfast were pretty good. The sausage and eggs were terrible. I probably wont be back there are too many other options in the area to bother with this one again. Some at an even better price.

The absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The rooms, hallways, and pretty much everywhere smelled awful. The rooms were SO dirty and appeared to of not of been cleaned at all (food on the floor, hair in the bathroom, dusty)

Bathroom had large amounts of dried vomit in tib that gad been there for a very long time. We had to switch rooms immediately. Carpets were beyond washing to clean . Pure filth.. no offer of refund for giving us the dirty room.

Parking was a little sketchy. AC didnt really travel well through the room (yes, it's October, but was almost 80 both days). Room was big for a standard 2-queen room. Sheets were really smooth and comfy. Breakfast was fine and up to expectations. Tub could use a reglazing. Door was tight from new-ish paint on door and frame. Hotel was clean. We woukd dtay there again.

I seen a lot of mix reviews, stay wasn’t bad… the beds were super comfy but the old cigarette smell in the lobby threw me off a little because the place was newly remodeled. Staff were very helpful and sweet including the lady in the breakfast area! Nice hotel on the cheaper side of things. I will say the sink outside of the bathroom not great, and the shower head was super low… had to crouch to get under the stream and I’m 5’7. Beds also are not kid friendly I had our 3 year old with us….way too high up but like I said still really comfy.

The room was nicely renovated but I think having some blinds on the window would help darken the room for sleeping. Also, the bathtub should be refurbished or replaced. The floors were really nice. Great not having carpet. The fridge in our room was more like a freezer because it froze our bottles of water that we had in there. Nothing too major and we would certainly stay here again.

You can put make-up on a pi, but it’s still a pig. Beds are too high. My 83 year old mother had to use the desk chair to get into bed. I’m 5’5”, and it wasn’t easy for me either. The beds are on a full metal panel frame. As you turn in the night, it sounds like wobbling sheet metal to create a thunder sound. The drapes aren’t wide enough to fully cover the windows. There’s mold in the bathroom with creepy hand prints on the back of the door. There’s no cover on the ceiling light in the bathroom, with the fan super loud. Not too eco-friendly when the tub drips non-stop. The AC emits a perfume smell-probably to cover up the smoke coated paint (which is still detectable in the room) under the fresher coats. Tv channel options were amazing. The WiFi is hard to get onto, and is slow. The breakfast was comparable to other hotels. The staff tending breakfast were very nice and helpful. Front desk folks at evening checking and morning check out could use some manners and customer service training. Overall, you get what you pay for. It’s fine if you’re looking just for any place to stay.

Staff helpful, room clean and tidy, room climate control good. Room was very quiet. Would recommend anti slip strips or mat for bath tub as it was very slippery. Not a fan of sink located in room itself rather than the bathroom but many places do this now. Need curtains in our room to better close completely for privacy and light intrusion. Not a fan of bar soap for sink but see that many inns/hotels we stay at are also doing this now. Can see that upgrades have been made and ongoing since previous visit a while back. Wi-Fi worked well, did not use upgrade option as it was not needed for our stay (we were not streaming, just checking work email and social media). Our 2 day schedule did not permit breakfast on site so I can't review that but I saw other guests with plates loaded down with various items. Rates are reasonable.

Amy was amazing at the front desk! I checked in late night and had a bit of an issue on my own part but she was able to help me and accommodate me! She was a kind and understanding! It was clean and well taken care of! Definitely will be back!

check in was a mess. waited in line almost an hour. The woman at the desk informed us that 4 maids walked out so they were slow at getting rooms ready. You could tell they had all hands on deck to clean the remaining rooms and staff were trying to get it done. The lady at the front desk so so calm and not letting this get to her . She was nice

Waited in line for about an hour to check in and still never got into a room booked in Feb. Watched as people checked into rooms that were occupied. We were checked into rooms that were not cleaned then into a storage room! Chaos. Left and came back to a clean room after our concert. No tv service, included breakfast sparse, etc. Felt bad for People working there. They were friendly and tried their best. Were far overbooked (and overpriced) for staff working.

The issues with breakfast service and the “hotel policy” of requiring a deposit to take food to your room was beyond pathetic. Day 1 - got coffee in the breakfast area and as I left the area an employee chased me down the hall, yelling at me that I couldn’t take food to my room. When I turned and he saw it was coffee, he said he was sorry. Minutes later my wife made a waffle and had a yogurt as we were walking to the car. AGAIN we were stopped, and told we could not take food to our room with out a $200 deposit. “Good thing we’re headed to the car” I told him, as we exited the building. Mind you, this was AFTER the hotel had already taken a $200 hold from my credit card for “incidentals”. I’m still trying to figure out what incidentals there could be, there was no room service or restaurant attached to the building. And god forbid I ordered a pizza to be delivered. Because that would have been another $200 deposit. Don’t stay here if you plan on eating, drinking or providing your self with any sort of sustenance within the confines of the building.

The front desk staff was less than helpful or frendly. He said that there was nothing he could do to get us a n early check in. He told us this as he was putting on a back pack. He told us that there was absolutly nothing he could do and to come back in an hour. Five minutes later a new front desk staff arrived and checkec us in no questions asked.

When we checked in, we were given a key to a room. The key did not work in that door so we returned to the front desk. We were given another key to another room - which opened the door….but there was someone else in that room already! We returned to the front desk again. The lady offered to upgrade us to a suite for our inconvenience. She gave us another key to the suite - and went with us to make sure the door would open. But there was someone already in the suite as well! Oh my gosh! It took about 10 minutes longer, but we were finally given a normal room but handicapped. The door to the bathroom had a handicapped accessible door (accordion style) but it didn’t close all the way (awkward traveling w 2 teens). The room was clean, but everything is super dated. Our room’s AC blew directly on a bed, so one in our party was freezing all night. The breakfast was very mediocre. We heard they’re renovating this hotel soon. It’s irresponsible to be still renting rooms here. Renovate it. I would NOT recommend staying here. It’s by far the dingiest oldest hotel I’ve stayed in in years, and the key mix ups should not be happening w a computer system in 2023.

Arrived after midnight due to delayed flights and was told that even though we had a reservation they were 23 rooms overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. We were unsure of what to do since it was midnight in a strange place when the lady at the desk said she would call the maintenance person and have him check to see if one of the rooms was clean. It was and she did give us that room but it was such a weird situation. If you have an empty room you are not overbooked.

Lady checking me in stopped half way through to text someone on her personal phone. Floors were so sticky in the room. Cops had to be called in so it was loud and crazy. Tried getting refunded due to my kids being terribly sick at home. Something I couldn’t control. One was admitted just after I got home. A day earlier than planned. I understand I didn’t get insurance but this was totally unexpected. Expedia was wonderful in trying to help.

Scary location, parking lot is full of huge potholes. Door to room stuck so bad that in an emergency we would have been in trouble. Coffee pot was broken, toilet clogged. The walls are so thin we could hear every word of a families’ conversation next door. Way too expensive for the “quality”. We stay at hotels a lot and we both felt this was one of the very worst hotels we ever stayed in. Definitely would not stay again. The area around Odlin Rd has awful hotels in general, it’s close to the amphitheater but not worth it. Look elsewhere

To be fair the motel was clean and the staff were extra friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. The property is getting a bit rundown. The area around it is a little sketchy (an abandoned mall next door). The parking lot has lots of potholes. For the money it was a good place to stay.

This was a basic one-night on the way home stay. Clean sheets and towels, hot water, cool A/C, and firm and comfortable bed and pillows. It was all we needed before heading home from our stay in Maine. The breakfast was quite basic but it was enough to get us going. The hostess was very kind and helpful when I needed some guidance and help with more hot water for my tea. Thank you. Perhaps add more fresh fruit and variety of muffins on the menu. We would recommend this hotel if you need to spend a night on your way to or from your extended travel through this beautiful state.

Breakfast bar lady was wonderful. Extremely disappointed with the customer service when on the last night our room had a leak at 2am in the morning. It was from the room above. Staff were not helpful. We lost a nights sleep and not so much as an apology.
