The property has been renovated. Things are nice , breakfast is good with hot and cold choices. The only issue is no elevator. We are old and had large bags. The staff helped us but it would have been good to know.

PLACE IS dated , no usb ports but the bed is very comfortable. Slept like a baby. No loud noises. Only other issue, no elevator. Sucks lugging luggage up to the second floor. Shower was great

The beds and pillows and comforters were cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The dining area was cozy with cute holiday decor and nice fireplace. Staff was always pleasant. I had to print out passes for my trip to Acadia, and there was a computer with printer in the dining area. Nice and close to everything.

I can’t say enough about how nice the staff is at this place. Yes it’s an older place, but very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was served by two super sweet ladies and there many selections to choose from. Cost is included with your stay. When we checked in we were offered a selection of pastries and various snack foods. Again included in the cost of our stay. The man working the desk was very pleasant and informative. This is the first time I have taken the time for a review because I really think they deserve the recognition. Don’t be fooled by the looks of the building. Quite and clean

Somewhat of an “old school” property with actual metal keys and showing its age, but delightful staff and very good hot breakfast. Hot coffee is good, and the eggs are fresh, not powdered like many other hotels that serve breakfast! Plenty of room in the two bed accommodation, plenty of easy and free parking.

This motel is an amazing value. The staff is extremely friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was definitely older but clean and well maintained. The big upside is that it had an old style shower head that gives you a real shower unlike more modern hotels that have shower heads the barely give you a mist to shower under. The breakfast is also amazing. Way more than a danish that you would get at other places. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and had to have our room changed due to ants,decided to try again this year on our way back home from Florida to Halifax due to the high ratings on Expedia (9 ),there was a very large black ant in the bed,pretty much didn’t sleep the rest of the night,left very early next morning,dought if I will be staying here again,

Everything was great. Clean room and bathroom. Lots of towels. Quiet, able to sleep really good. I love all the stations on the television. I really like the desk lamp, that makes reading papers a lot easier. Easy to park. The staff was incredible at the front desk, even the cleaning staff said hi. I would definitely stay here again!!!

I found this motel clean, comfortable, and more than adequate at a very reasonable price. I felt like I was in a time machine and had been transported back to the 1970's or 1980's with decor, especially the bathroom. But that was for me charming. The television was new and very good, and the wifi worked very well. I was waiting for Thelma and Louise to come through the door and greet me.

The staff was as GREAT. My biggest issue was the poor quality of wifi. Never had more than 1 or 2 bars. Could not look up information or route to travel the next day. Also wasnt strong enough to download a book on my kindle. I didnt expect muchfor this price...BUT poor wifi is expected.

The free, fresh breakfast buffet was fantastic! So many options to choose from. We loved the snacks provided in the lobby throughout the day! The staff was fantastic and very helpful! We will definitely be staying here again! We loved the suite and the option of having 3 beds and 2 bathrooms in the room! That was probably my favorite part! The only thing I would recommend is to have more plugs in the rooms along with patching and replacing the current outlets. Other than that, this place is fantastic!

Room was great, breakfast was plentiful and yummy! The only issue I had was that their WiFi was terribly slow and doesn’t even load anything. I couldn’t do any of my project online using their WiFi - Instead, I had to use my personal hotspot! Regardless, I really recommend the place and will definitely go back to stay when I need.

This room is straight from 1982. Complete with old physical keys, push button phone, and blue bathroom tub/toilet. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to have been a single upgrade since. The room was basically clean, and the beds were not terribly. The bedding was nice and the breakfast in the morning was decent, with hot items. A major upgrade would be great!

Everything was very clean, and although everything is old (furniture etc) it is in very good shape. Bathroom fixtures need some attention, shower head and faucet were not attached properly to the wall in our room and shower was very hard to turn on ( from faucet flow to shower flow)

Though our stop in Bangor was unplanned, we're so glad we chose this hotel. Its great location was a definite plus, but the front office staff truly made our stay, being incredibly cooperative and welcoming.

I enjoyed my stay and will likely return if I’m in the area again. I appreciated that the staff were friendly, gave good advice on dinner recommendations and were easy about a very early check-in. The hot free breakfast buffet was the best I’ve had since 2009. My only issues were that my bathroom was very small and a little worn. The stairs to the second floor were very steep. I should have asked for a ground level room and would if I come back. The Mexican restaurant Miguel’s is within walking distance to the hotel and is recommended.

Terie, the general manager and our host, was especially kind, friendly and sweet. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious and well-maintained. Breakfast was over the top amazing. Fresh eggs, sausage patties, baked beans, fresh fruit, variety of breads and waffle maker, juices, boxed cereal, milk, a variety of yogurts, and more. All very delicious!!

If you have business in Bangor or are passing through, I highly recommend the Bangor Inn and Suites. It has everything you need: Friendly staff, clean well equipped rooms, great breakfast buffet. It was also about $50/night cheaper than the national chains nearby. It's in a commercial area but that means it's handy to I-95, a mall and your favorite restaurant.

Very comfortable room. Clean and had everything we needed. Excellent service especially for breakfast. Hot breakfast had sausage, scrambled eggs, beans, variety of breads and muffins, fresh fruit, cereals and waffles. The ladies who served breakfast were exceptional and very friendly. Its a great place to stay … not fancy but priced appropriately. We would stay again and recommend.
