Pool closed for whatever reason though full of water. Hideous noise right outside my window both days from 10:00 to 5:00 from the carpet cleaning truck. Couldn't even hear the voice on the other end when I tried to make calls. Had to replace my room keys 3 different times during a two night stay---and, no, I didn't let them touch any electronic device. And the staff's attitude was lousy; the exception being the lady who pulled the all night shift.

Parking lot on right side of property is dark, not well lit, feels unsafe and dirty. Rear entry electronic door hasn't worked for the past month. I stayed there twice in the past 3 weeks and door still doesn't work. One can exit but cannot get back in.

Terrible. I was afraid of my kid’s safety. Pool was dirty, folks smoking, fridge didn’t work and water was dripping from the fridge, smelled terrible. The hot tub was not working. The worst hotel o have ever stayed in.

Where do I even begin 😔 I called ahead asked if the pool and hot tub were in working condition and they said yes ! Her checked in and go down for a swim the hot tub is full of what looks like sewage water. Some of the staff live on property and they have teenage kids that are about 9 to 13 that are wild and out of control. We couldn’t even enjoy the pool because their kids had taken over without adult supervision when I brought it to the staff’s attention they blew us off and continue to let the underage children take over the pool area. They, the kids took the handicap chair apart and was smacking each other with metal poles and smacking water splashing people with metal poles. Then, during breakfast the waffle mix was watered down to where you were unable to even make waffles when it was brought to staff’s attention they didn’t fix the situation. The sausage wasn’t cooked. It was an all-around awful experience. I would not recommend-5 stars.

Bed comfortable. Advertised a hot tub, it was broke, elevator failed 3 times, was told by front dest they had laundry facilities. 1 washer worked dryers did not work wasted $3.50 trying to dry clothes. Front desk said they could not refund us because the equipment didn't belong to them. On check out maintenance and front desk knew they were broke. Everywhere housekeeping went with a mop bucket, they left water slopped on the floor making it a fall hazard. Bathtub would not hold water. Very dissappointing.

The only disappointment was that the pool was closed. We picked this hotel bc of the pool. We could have went to any number of other hotels. Definitely a disappointment for the kiddos.

I checked in at the La Quinta hotel, and the room was filthy. The commode had stool stains, blood stains, and the refrigerator was dirty with what appeared to be moss. I reported it to the manager, and she gave us another room, but it was just as bad. The new room had hair and urine stains on the commode, so I decided to check out.

I gave 2 stars because its in a good location & the water in the shower was nice & hot. There were dirty wash cloths in the bathroom, dirty microwave, nasty tub with a broken stopper. Mold in the bathroom Roaches occupied the room andtherthpillows were dirty.

I never leave reviews, but this hotel right here. Just unacceptable. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Loud Music was allowed to be played til after 3:00 A.M. No front desk could be reached about the situation. Floors smelled like cigarettes and Weed. Rooms were in beat up condition. Could not get sleep. Woke up to beds bugs and jumped up. Had bites on my face, back, neck and upper arm. I literally did not get any sleep here had to stand up until it was daylight because I was scared to sit on anything else after I saw the bed bug. As Soon as it became daylight I cancelled my remaining stay and checked out that hotel. I will be reaching out to the manager today.

Fleas. Yes, fleas in the sofa. I had over 20 flea bites. I'm still itching and scratching. Moved us into another room but they acted like this was business as usual. No apoligies and no compensation. I like staying at La Quinta but never again.

Filthy! Blood stained mattress’ (yes, more than 1. We had 2 rooms with doubles) in the rooms. Bathrooms were filthy. Tried to get different hotel at check in but 7 others were full. There is NO WAY the Health Department checks them, unless NC is such lower standards than OH!

The outside of the hotel looks so beautiful and well-kept. The room was large and spacious. However, the lobby where we checked in was hot and had no AC. The clerks seem unbothered. Our room was not clean at all, and the floor in the room was filthy, dirty, and sticky. The bed sheets had caucasian hair on it. The supposedly clean washcloths and towels for us to use were placed on top of the toilet seat as if that was the best place to put them. The front desk (indian man) was knocking loudly on the doorway before the checkout time to tell you that you need to be out by 11 AM. He was literally speaking loudly, where I am sure others in their rooms can hear. It is a no-class hotel. Strong dog poop smells outside where you are loading and unloading baggage. Someone had their TV turned up load and you could hear people making out while walking the hallway. Please find another hotel that is much cleaner and classy.

Drapes dated and liners have holes in them. Tub has liner in it making the bottom curved and narrow. Tub wouldn’t drain forever in between showers. Bed is excellent! Sleep well

The only plus about my stay at this property was the shower was hot and the elevator smelled nice. The carpet in the room was over stained. The breakfast was mediocre. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Not that it didn't work, but that there wasn't one! There where patches of carpet in the stairwells that were cut out. Even though the hotel has a no smoking policy it was evident that the guests staying there were smoking weed. The exercise room was sub par. This list goes on and on. This used to be a nice hotel when it was first opened but it has probably changed ownership and has really gone down hill. I have to travel back through WS for Christmas and will be staying at a hotel in Clemmons or I will shell out the extra money to stay at a higher end hotel in Winston Salem. I understand if you are on a budget and have to stay at this place but be warned.

Stayed here while my furnace was being replaced, and was pleasantly surprised that the room was modern and updated. Laminate floors, neutral color palette, fairly cool art on the walls—not how I thought about La Quinta. But then I hadn’t stayed in one for a decade. I know it is more eco-friendly, but I did miss having maid service more than once every three days. That said, you can get towels and toiletries at the front desk. But for $70/night, plus a pet fee that was cheaper than anywhere else? Totally satisfactory.

My room was dated. The bathroom had a hole on the tub wall that was patched with a hard plastic sheet and painters tape. The hot/cold plate around the tub faucet was dislodged. The curtain was torn and frayed.

Property is what you pay for. Rooms are nice but noisy. Several things in the room did not work properly: tub didn’t drain well, coffee machine was missing a part etc. If you don’t mind these things and are on a budget, it’s totally doable. Staff is friendly and there is plenty of food choices and stores in walking distances.

We stayed at this property for 1 night. The room we were in was Room 123, the bathroom doors didn’t close all the way. The refrigerator had plastic tore off all the sides. The freezer door was off the hinge and lastly; someone cut a portion of the blackout drapes. When we went to close the blinds, you could still see in because of this and we were on the 1st floor. I had to pull another area of the blackout drape as far as it could go and put a chair against the wall to keep it in place, so no one could look in.

Keys had to be reset twice. Bathroom doors were like cabinets and didnt stay shut. Elevator made weird creaking noises. Never cleaned room i took my own trash out. Room was clean. Facility has current construction going on. Staff was friendly.

Best welcome and check in that I have ever had. I was surprised by the deposit fee that was charged after paying for the room on line but do understand that new fees pop up all the time and just hope the credit is processed as quick as promised. Didn't ask if cash was paid would that be given back after checking out...

We arrived the day before Thanksgiving so we expected no maid service on Thursday. We verified this with the front desk and was assured they would clean our room on Friday. We left our room that morning at 10 am and returned at 7pm to a room how we left it. I also noticed people left their trash and dirty towels outside the room. We had to ask the front desk for toilet paper and soap.

The check-in was lengthy. One person doing the work and it felt like he was ordering catering for a wedding for each person in front of me. It took 5-10 mins per person. The bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The toilet had to be flushed 2x to go down. I won't stay here again, even for 67$. It wasn't worth it.

The front desk staff was very professional and showed a great deal of kindness. When we got to our room; however, we couldn't get into our room because the card would not open/unlock the door. With all of our belongs in tow, we had to go back downstairs for a new key. The front desk staff person, reassured us that our kid was working. When we went up to our room, the door finally opened after multiple attempts. This happened two other times during our brief overnight stay. The morning breakfast was less than acceptable. There were very little options to choose from. The food was a bit cold. There was no coffee available and there was no one around to offer help or even ask for help. The ice machine on our floor was out of service too. Just a very disapointing experience. I will not staying here again.

The manager does their best with what seems to be a limited staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. We used the staircase instead of the elevator a couple times. I marked unsafe because we encountered a person sleeping in the stairwell one morning which indicated that the back door to the hotel was not locked at night. The area around the hotel had a different vibe at night once the surrounding businesses closed for the day.

Breakfast time is too short, ends at 9am. Certain breakfast items, juice, sausage (which is poor quality) run out often 30 or more minutes before breakfast ends. Always told “we have no more” and I believe they only put a limited amount out. Also lobby bathrooms are not cared for. Often dirty and no toilet tissue, especially while overnight person sits around or can’t be found.

It was horrible the breakfast was awful the sausage wasn’t fully cooked the waffle mix with pure water basically and nobody could make a waffle because it was more water than anything the office was notified of three underage children under the age of 13 at the pool alone bullying by 3 year old son ! The staff lives there and has kids that are completely out of control running the halls , homeless people came in trying to disrespect guests and jumping line snatching food and the maid ( a man at that ) walked into our room without knocking and I was half way dressed it was the absolute worst experience I can’t make this up smh
