Ramada Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham Las Cruces

The inside pool was nice, there was no hot tub though. Also, there was no hot breakfast due to construction. That was an unpleasant surprise

The pool was out of order the whole time I was there and that was one of main reasons I booked the room there.

I stay here often for business, but the past 3 times I've been there, there has been no breakfast. I reported ALL exercise equipment in the gym was broken or out of order about 2 months ago, but it still hasn't been fixed. I like the hotel, but due to these issues, I'm going to stay elsewhere each week for business travel.

No gate access after 11pm due to broken doors, no gym (closed for months), no breakfast on Tuesdays (what?!). Smelly rooms (I had to change due to cigar smoke smoke) with dumpy feeling all over the place.

Booked a 4 night stay. Husband was there for work and I came along to use our down time in the pool and the gym. When we got there late Wednesday to check in they said they lost power for 4 days and when it came back on the pool didn’t work. Husband worked all day Thursday so Friday when we went down to check on the pool status the gal at the front desk said the electrician was supposed to be in that day to work on it and if he didn’t show that she would allow early check out. Well she left and didn’t inform the guy coming on. Pool wasn’t fixed so we asked where the hotel gym was. He then informed us all the equipment was broke and they were waiting on it to be remodeled. He said we booked through a third party so we would have to get approval through them for a refund . Tried that. Third party said they still had to call the hotel to get their approval but days went by and the hotel would not return third parties calls for the refund on the unused days. Don’t stay here. It was so cold in the hotel that the first morning we had to make our breakfast and take it back to our room to stay warm while we ate. So many better options out there to stay at. My husband was referred to this hotel since it was close to the job location he would be at but there is a nicer option in view of this one. Save your money and do not stay here.

Restaurant Bar not open. Seems that remolding has been forever.

We have liked staying at this property for many years. Property design and ambience are unique and welcoming. Property has been and continues to be well maintained. Balconies are very nice on second floor rooms. Drawback is that there is not any elevator service to the second floor. There is a wheel chair lift that can be used for luggage. With our advancing age, we will continue to use this property, but will insist on a ground floor room in the future.

One of the reason I booked the hotel was that there is a pool. And it was closed for whatever the reason. And the concierge didn’t know what the reason was nor told that it was closed. It might have been an off season (mid-July). But it was in convenient location- close to White Sands and Truth or Consequences. The property is quite big and clean.

The conference center seeme on its last legs. Smell of chlorine from pool dominated the lobby. The property is worn out. Bed was not made neatly.

I got bed bugs from the upholstered chairs and the manager was to call be back after an inspection and I haven't heard from him.

Staff checking in was rude. Room was dirty. Floor very dirty. No plugs to plug phone in. Not even room coffee pot. Only plug in bathroom.

Most importantly, the room was very clean, specifically the bed, the bedding and the bathroom and shower. The room also smelled clean as we walked in. Not musty at all. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. It’s an older property that needs a little bit of TLC, but they are working on it which was good to see. It looks like they’re undergoing a complete renovation. I hope they leave some of the original charm. The bed was very comfortable. We had a good nights sleep. Next time I’m in Las Cruces I would definitely stay here.

This hotel used to be beautiful. Now it is run down. The room was dirty and filled with mold. The in room ac was not to be turned below 68° so the room was very hot. The continental breakfast was a joke. I will never stay here again.

I think it needs extra cleaning and especially the liening needs some extra clean smell to it. Bathroom ceiling had mold.

As soon as you walk in, you see how beautiful the property is. Staff was great and helpful when we needed stuff. Rooms are very clean and the beds were comfortable. Thank you!!

This place is aesthetically pleasing. It has beautiful tile and furniture. The issues are in the details- I found the room to be dirty in the corners, the bed was uncomfortable, the plumbing backed up, the faucet did not work well, and the fitness room consisted of 4 broken cardio machines and that’s it. It is very close to campus but not the end where everything is happening. There are a lot of unhoused people hanging around near this hotel.

Apon arrival The room was did not have the air conditioner on. So it was 85° when we came inside. It took almost 2 hours for it to cool down enough to fall asleep in the morning. And I was woken up by the automated system. Texting me 8 times wanting to know when I was checking out. I asked about breakfast like it said was on the reservation. They don't serve breakfast on Mondays or Tuesdays. That would have been nice. I would have gone elsethe bathroom had black molded in it. I opted for a late check out but left before the checkout time and still was charged.It's really sad because I've stayed at this hotel before and had a really great time.And it's definitely gone down here

Great place to stay. We continue to stay here everytime we visit. Outdated but definitely clean, safe, quiet and totally convenient.

The overall look and feel of the hotel was one of a kind. We enjoyed the unique experience of the casitas. In the room, the lack of air circulation made it uncomfortable at times. The air conditioner and heater worked, but there isn’t a fan option to circulate the air. Our doors latches weren’t as sturdy and we felt we needed to secure our room ourselves. Needed amenities are laundry bag and luggage holder.

An absolutely gorgeous lobby, dining area, courtyard, and pool area, recently renovated. The room was unexpectedly roomy, with a king-sized bed and room for two upholstered armchairs and a large table. Reading lamp behind one chair. Coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Staff were all helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. More than ample parking. Excellent value for the money. Minimal continental breakfast (bread, bagels, English muffins, cereal, yogurt) with the vilest coffee I've ever tasted (it's not Community, regardless of what the urns say). The cons : No desk in the room, a definite lack in a hotel near a conference center. The usual minor issues -- clogged sink, torn shower curtain, mold/mold stains on the caulk in the bathroom, bathroom door wouldn't close completely, no body lotion (in this climate, it matters). In-room coffee maker leaked. The cord was too short to plug it in without moving it to the dresser. They claim to be ecofriendly, but towels were changed every day.

My only complaint is that the rooms are very outdated. Lamps older than me. No place to charge cell phones, watches…. Etc

The noise from outside can be heard. My door didnt have the proper wearher stripping because hot air was blown in constantly. The maids would shut my AC EVEYRDAY after i ledt so when i came back from 106° it would be hot in my room. The room never gets totally dark. The fridge is loud.

Beautiful lobby area. Very relaxing! Rooms are spacious however, they are very outdated and stuffy.

Stayed here one night. Everyone slept well. Back in the day this must have been an amazing experience, but it is old and dated now. The lobby is still awesome with the Southwest decor and fountain and pool. The hallway carpet is old, years of dust buildup on the baseboards and ceiling tiles showing water damage with some damaged and out of place. The room door was warped and the bathroom fan smelled like it was going to catch on fire. The door to the balcony also could be replaced. With all that said, the room was clean, the ac worked great and the staff was amazing.

The hotel is dated and worn. Some of the rooms are completely interior, i.e., have no windows nor natural light. The pool is indoors, literally in the lobby, next to the front desk, stairs, and restaurant.

The beds and pillows need a serious update. The bed frame in our room squeaked so loud with minor movements. The mattress and pillows both felt lumpy and uncomfortable. And the water pressure in the shower was so strong it was difficult to shower with it. Parents with children beware! We checked in late so nothing was going on in the hotel but the place looked like it would be awesome When full of people.

The checking in process was really annoying I arrived at 10 am and checkout in was at 3pm. The receptionist was not being helpful and not trying to accommodate us so we had to wait in the parking lot for hours

Very nice hotel, great staff, definitely recommend.

When we arrived front desk lady was extremely rude. After we checked in we went to the pool for about 10 when the same front desk lady told all of us to get out and that she was closing the pool in a non professional way. We asked why and no answer. The room also had a lot of stains on the carpet and had not been vacuumed or cleaned properly. My youngest daughter kept stepping on old nail clippings.

I just got the most awful experience of my whole life in this hotel. I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool. When I checked in I was informed that the pool hours were from 10 AM to 8 PM. We tried to swim at 7 PM and the pool was already closed and no one was at the front desk, so we couldn't swim. Next morning at 10:00 AM pool was closed, I went back to my room and tried again at 10:15 AM, pool was still closed, So I went to the front desk and told the lady that I was checking out that day, that the night before I couldn't swim and the the pool was not open on the advertised hours. Very rudely she said she will go ahead and open the pool. It took another 15 minutes before she showed up with an angry face to open the pool. After only 30 mins of swimming, at 11AM sharp, the same lady went to the pool and started screaming to us that we should leave the premises. I asked to speak with a manager and she said she was the manager. My 6 year old and baby started crying because of all the screaming so I decided to not confront so we stepped out of the pool. The lady stayed there the whole time watching us like we were criminals. She left for 5 minutes, we were not out yet from the hotel yet, she came back and she continued screaming. “I am tired of being nice, you have to leave now or I will call the authorities”. We left with soaking wet bottoms, getting yelled out and feeling like criminals. I am usually sympathetic with people but this lady should be fired.

The desk clerk Richard gave us a warm welcome and provided excellent customer service. The desk clerks in the morning were excellent too. We will definitely our hotel to reserve on our next trip to Las Cruces.

It was very pleasant. Didn't use the room much since at a conference. It was very good service with a helpful and polite staff.

We didn’t have hot water in the morning. The night manager said he had hot water and all he offered me was “sorry “. My wife and I had to take cold showers, not hot or even warm, but cold. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Older hotel but usually clean and comfortable. Feel safe because rooms have interior entrance. Clerks are friendly and very efficient. Easy in and out to freeway.

The good: the room and all common areas were very clean. The indoor garden atrium was a very nice place to lounge. The staff was excellent (very friendly and helpful). The not so good: the rooms, although very clean, were a little dated. The ugly: there were homeless people around the property. Security was on site, but always being approached by them was a but disconcerting.

We were there for a softball tournament and the fields were really convenient to the location and also food places great too !!

The reason we always stayed here was for the convenience of restaurant and lounge and were surprised to see both closed. Going to be staying somewhere else till they are open again.

Not worth the price paid. The amenities maybe make it worth it if you’re traveling with kids, but if you’re not just save the money and skip this place. The most baffling thing of all was the voucher provided for breakfast which was held in a restaurant looking area. Upon arrival for breakfast there was far less on offer than a traditional hotel: just carbs and some juice - that was IT. I left without breakfast. Skip this place, it sucked.

This hotel was perfect for the one night , literally only stayed to sleep and get back on the road . Our rooms were clean and I loved how the lobby looked . It did provide a voucher for breakfast which was very basic (cereal, bagels, toast, and waffles) . If you’re wanting a full breakfast I recommend getting either a different hotel or choose a restaurant close by. But overall a good stay
