Rooms were great breakfast was great staff was great did not like they had workers fixing the outside scraping stucco got all over car while i was checking in then one morning of the guys was right outside the window working then they had extension cord running under a door that need key card to get into the pool was closed was never informed of that till we arrived

My family got stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes while the fire department had to rescue us. No ventilation in the elevator. Temp rose quickly and air became a concern. When I spoke with the hotel, told me I had to jump through hoops with Expedia to get a refund for the stay. Expedia called the hotel and was told they have to call back when a manager is on. Why wouldn’t they take care of the communication part themselves since this was a serious incident. I may never stay in a Hilton property again. My family had three rooms that week. Not what I expect for customer service.

We have stayed at this location many times and always enjoyed it. Upon arrival, we saw the entrance was under construction. The side door entrance was broken. The exit on the stairwell was broken. So we did not feel there was a safe and convenient way in and out. The elevator was broken and we were on the third floor. This was only disclosed after the front desk staff checked us in and charged us for the stay. We would have found a different hotel if we had realized the level of disrepair and construction on site. The state of the room was also not to a standard we have experienced at this and other Hampton Inns. There was a large gap under the door which was a privacy concern, and made even slight noises in the hallway very loud. The shower was dirty and the refrigerator did not work well. The construction and disrepair should have been disclosed ahead of time. If it was just one thing broken or not in repair I would not have been bothered, but so much was wrong with this stay it made our experience disappointing.

Unfortunately the roof of the hotel was undergoing major repairs. My room was on the top floor and on the back side where the equipment was stored/used and where a the metal cutting was occurring. Those rooms should have been left vacant for the duration of the work as it was extremely noisy during the hours of 0800 until 1800

Elevator was broken had to carry heavy luggage by myself to 2nd floor there were construction work inside the hotel breakfast had to take in a hallway when i complain to reception they say they Hotel.com to let me know in advance but Hotel.com said they do NOT have my contact phone !!!

This hotel was under exterior repairs that made it difficult to know where to enter, so much so that we weren’t even sure if it was operational! Once inside, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast offerings were excellent! It is a pet friendly facility which is truly great, but someone’s frightened pet moaned and cried loudly many hours making rest and sleep difficult. While we sympathize with the pet owner, we were surprised that it echoed so loudly inside our room, so soundproofing could be improved.

The staff are incredible, as well as the breakfast. The property was being renovated which I wish we received a heads up prior to this. Also, we did find a cockroach in one of the rooms we purchased. Although, it was overall a nice stay.

There appears to be mold on the bathroom wall. I had to clean dried poo off of the toilet paper holder. I didn’t call the front desk because the girl who checked us in, Stephanie, was less than helpful with any questions I asked at check-in. Day 2 of our stay the orange juice and apple juice were pouring water. I asked the attendant who said she’d check it out but she never did. We paid $200 per night for this. We paid Hampton Inn to give us ridiculously bad customer service. It was giving ‘it’s not my job’ vibes. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn EVER!

The pool was closed for construction which I understand but we should have been told this at some point. My kids got there excited to go swimming and we all put our swimsuits on to just find out then that it was closed. My daughter also stepped on a nail that went through her shoe outside the front door and they did nothing about it. The bathroom was very dirty with little black hairs all over the counter.

This may have been the worst room I've ever stayed in. Shower knob came off in my hand. No USB's in the room. The electrical outlets on the lamps did not work. iron did not work. TV was set up like a TV from 10-15 years ago. Not a smart TV so no Netflix, HBO, Prime video, etc. Didn't even stay my last night. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and have been very satisfied. This hotel needs a serious upgrade. Hopefully it's in the plans. Extremely disappointed.

Highly recommend. We've stayed here several times while traveling north to south. Staff is always helpful and friendly, free coffee and tea. Breakfast is above average with a clean and well maintained buffet. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable with ample pillows, plenty of towels and coffee pods. Some of the bathrooms could use a new coat of silicone in the showers - and others are just fine. Perhaps it's a matter of cycling through the rooms in the off season. For the price, and their dog friendly policy, I continue to stay here when passing through.

One thing -- if you are on the ground floor people walking by on the pathway can see directly into your room at night, when the room is lighted from the inside. There is only a sheer curtain. The thick curtain is a dummy and does not slide across...it only covers 25 percent of the window. I checked on my own room and if you are on the paved path to the front you are about ten feet from the window and can see right through the sheer curtain.

Overall great place. I had to ask for sheets for pull out bed and no cold water (better than no hot) but overall very clean and super quiet. Breakfast was awesome. I would stay there again.

We were in Parris island for grandson’s marine graduation. We stayed 3 nights. One of the things that impressed us was they opened up the breakfast VERY early (also had sack breakfast to go) because on Thursday and Friday we had to be on base very early. When I booked I figured we would be without breakfast but to my surprise we had it before leaving.

Wi-Fi was terrible. Dropped out every few seconds, and was practically unusable Staff lied to me when I called and told me I would be able to get a late checkout so my graduation Marine could change out of his uniform for the long drive home. Morning of, despite confirming over the phone, they changed their mind and refused. Staff was very rude when I tried to find an alternate solution, they simply did not care or make any attempt to work out something.

This was worst experience ever. We were awakened by someone banging on our door at 11:52 pm. They said they were the night manager and needed to charge our credit card $1.00. Said it had to be before midnight and to call desk. We tried to give him a dollar and he said it had to be our card and to just call front desk. We had No phone in our room. Had to get dressed and go to lobby. We asked the morning manager what it was all about. He was extremely rude. Would not give names. Only said I should contact corporate headquarters and my card company. I then told him about condition of room and he again refused help. I asked him his name and he said they were not allowed to give it out!!!’ I left and put the nasty pillow over the counter as he shouted I didn’t have to be so rude. Unbelievable treatment from a “manager”.

Customer service was terrible. The front desk was rude and unfriendly the entire time. The hotel ran out of clean towels and we had to wait two days to receive clean towels. Breakfast was mediocre. The kitchen staff was very nice. The property was dated. The bed was hard and the sink in my room was falling apart. Worst hotel experience.

Guests should be advised of ongoing renovations. Constant noise from contractors knocking and smashing. Front desk welcome was atrocious, female manager abusive and rude. Couldn’t get any assistance with having faulty lamps and outlets replaced after 2 requests. Will take this further very seriously with Hilton.

We visit the Hampton Inn basically every 13 weeks, our son is a DI and we come to see his graduation. We have stayed at other hotels in the past but once we found this place it is the only place we will stay out. The staff is awesome, the rooms are nice, beds are comfy, it is close to Parris Island and close to restaurants and stores

The property is under a complete renovation and the main front entrance is closed, fenced off. I did not see this when booking thru another site but we got a great rate, room is fine, everything seems to be running normal otherwise Fabulous breakfast as usual, staff was wonderful. Loved the shower.

The room was clean & staff friendly. Best hotel breakfast I’ve experienced. Fresh fruit, homemade oatmeal with toppings, waffles, breads, plus egg, sausage & potatoes. Cookies were available upon check in & popcorn through the day. Very nice & clean towels & sheets. Comfortable & spacious bed. Met our needs.
