Econo Lodge St George North - Near Pioneer Park

This was a no frills hotel and I expected as much but I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the mattress. It wasn't the typical spring mattress that these motels usually supply. I slept well on it. Everything else was as expected and it was clean and nothing was broken. Our room had a balcany and that was a bonus if I ever felt inclined to sit out there to people watch or look at the view. The blackout curtains were sufficient. The two drawbacks to this property was the continental breakfast was as expected, however there are no healthy options like fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs or any protein source, or yogurt. It was cereal, instant oatmeal, or packaged muffins. The other drawback was the lack of sufficient loungers in the pool area and the paint on pool deck was chipped everywhere. The pool itself was in good condition, clean and refreshing. I would stayhete again.

Nothing exciting , disappointed in parking and handicap accessibility as there were very small parking spots and no elevator. Ended up leaving luggage in truck and carring up essential items to room. Bathroom was very small with tub shower. Room had no coffee maker but did have decent size refrigerator and a microwave. Room also needed painting and a few repairs.

Room was a little dirty. Breakfast options sparse and low quality

Continental breakfast was pitiful. Packaged muffins and cereal. They don’t tell you but there is an $250 check in fee. Rooms were clean, although the baseboards were falling apart and water damage. Pool is indeed not open when advertised.

Inexpensive local motel with the basics and free parking. Would have liked a coffeemaker in the room, but coffee was available at the breakfast area. Loved the heated pool.

Very friendly staff. The room was very nice and big. As a smoker my husband love the patio off the room. Had a desk and a small table, so plenty of room to play cards and dominos. There is no coffee pot in the room. The parking was a bit of a problem if you came in later that 10:00pm. Not sure there is enough parking spaces for rooms. We did how ever fine a place to park up by the maids landry room.

The breakfast is not what others have said at all. You have 3 options: 1. Muffins 2. Oatmeal 3. Cereal The room is in need of a deep cleaning. Spots of dirt on carpet, walls, chairs, bathtub, bathroom floor, curtains, dust all over, etc. The sheets, towels and pillows were clean. Very quiet and nice not having setting or rising sun in windows.

Bed was comfortable. But shower wasn’t very clean, the sink had a slow drain, and there was no coffee maker in the room. We had a second floor room with a nice patio, but it wasn’t very clean on the patio. “Free breakfast” was fruit loops, Cheerios, instant oatmeal or prepackaged muffins and bad coffee or juice.

The hotel room was pretty worn out. It had moulding in the bathroom that was missing. The carpet was dirty and stained. The bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast was very slim. The juice was very watered down and gross. There was 3 different muffin choices and 2 cereal choices.

The bath/shower wouldn't drain and neither would the hand sink. Overall, this was the single most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at.

I found a syringe behind the tv stand in my hotel room, I'm glad my children did not find it. I also felt unsafe as the 2nd lock had been broken off the inside of the door so there was no way to lock the door and enure anyone who didn't have a key couldn't get in. I would post pictures, but this site doesn't allow me to post them.

Had a cockroach and condom wrapper in the room. A/C could not cool the room off.

They need to do some major upgrades beds are in sorry shape. The floors were filthy … my wife and I were walking barefoot in the room and the soles of our feet were black

This property was very disgusting. Dirty sheets and pillow cases. Chair was torn up and swimming trunks left on bathroom door, not to mention the smell upon walking in was just nasty. I forgot to add that the bathroom had hair on the toilet seat and looked like it was dry wiped instead of cleaned correctly…couldn’t get a refund or help with it as we left the hotel after after checking in and never stayed

Worst place I've ever stayed! Both rooms full of bed bugs! Sink, tub, floors, microwave, shelves extremely unclean, unsafe, & a huge health hazard! Wouldn't recommend unfortunately! & I apologize!

Fridge was not working in room 109. Our food went rotten due to hot weather. The room was dirty. There was a lot of hair and dust under the bed.

Location okay, nice size room with okay carpet. Very soft bed (uncomfortable for me). TV didn't work, staff came up to get it started. Sounds has to be operated on TV (remote volume doesn't work, nor does Power off/on switch) so I unplug to turn it off. Parking inconvenient for upstairs rooms.

Older property so some wear evident in the bathroom, but everything worked fine. The heater/cooling unit was noisy. As noted elsewhere, breakfast is minimal - 2 kinds of cold cereal, one kind of muffin, and packets of oatmeal. Location was convenient for our needs. Would be willing to stay here again.

It was good enough for the price. Carpet was old. Tile in bathroom, eh. It was clean but really needs updating. Beds were not comfortable.

We stayed in a spacious room clear at the back where was no road noise. We had a comfortable bed and two fridges. one was small with a counter. The pool was through a sliding glass door but we couldn't open it. We found our stay to be comfortable for a great price.

Room was very spacious. Small wet bar, couch and a recliner. Bed was comfy. Bath fan hummed and buzzed instead of running.

The door to my room had a massive gap on the bottom and moderate gaps around the edges, letting in a lot of light and noise. The hot water was inconsistent and the refrigerator wouldn't stay on long enough to cool down and then it just shuts itself off. Don't plan on bringing any food that requires a fridge/freezer! I didn't check out breakfast because they told me it was small and not really substantial. All of the outlets are loose, so you've got to find juuuust the right spot to charge anything. The room appeared clean and decently updated. The bed wasn't the best, but not the worst either. It was just...ok. It's a budget place, so I didn't expect much...but I thought I'd share the details from my experience for future guests.

Very inexpensive. Huge rooms, king size bed, recliner, sofa, table/chairs, desk, wet bar/bar stool. Nice pool. Great value for the price. Good location.

Fast, reliable wi-fi. Which I appreciated since I was on a business trip and I had alot of work to do. Deposit fee was too too high it should have been only $100 dollars. This location was $250 why? My name is Joshua Harper. I booked a night through Expedia for the night of June 7-June 8 11:00 am checkout. Meeting with the front desk we were immediately met with a terrible sarcastic attitude by the lady behind the counter. I’m not one to complain and we were tired and willing to deal with it. It was late. She was accusing me of potentially stealing from the room, so my info was necessary. I told her I was here to sleep. She responded with “I sure hope so.” This was just a section of the conversation. The entire encounter was bizarre and unwarranted. I run a business in Northern Utah, this is not the attitude I run my business with. If so I wouldn’t get any work. I would like a chance to share pictures from the room we stayed at. If it’s necessary I can share the time stamps of each photo showing that they were taken just after receiving our room at the hotel. I hope that this can help you change the way things are done here with customers and the cleaning measures that are taken. Note: Myself and my nephew (who were the only visitors of this room) have short hair. We found many strands of long hair in our room. I spent just under $100 on this room. I’ve never felt this taken advantage of. There was mucus and snot, dust and hair. Stains and scratches. Punctures in lamps. It was horrible. I would appreciate a refund for this stay.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable which was surprising (to me at least) for a hotel bed.

The hotel rooms were a bit out of date, but they were clean. My one complaint is the worker at the hotel lobby desk. He was unprofessional . He was rude, argumentative and scary. He was hard to understand and not willing to be helpful when he was "questioned".

Okay stay. You get what you pay for. The only plus was that Costco was nearby. This location is a bit far from Zion National Park.

This hotel was located in a convenient area. It was a safe and relatively quiet location. The rooms could use some updating and the parking lot as well. Staff was very friendly.

Property has working pool quiet nights and easy access to everything around

This is a go to stay for our group for winter golf tournaments in St George. Price is right. Staff is freindly. Good location and across the street from Nielson's Custard, (a nightly ritual - Nielson's at 9).

We had no problems. The continental breakfast includes cereal, oatmeal packets, individually wrapped muffins, juice, milk, and coffee.

Overall, the stay was as expected. The room was clean and had all the proper amenities besides body wash. They should not be able to list “complimentary breakfast” as being available as there was coffee, two types of cereal, and a couple premade muffins only. No waffles, pancakes, or refrigerated items.

Room was older but comfortable. Very disappointed in breakfast as there was none to speak off 2 types of cereal and nothing else.

The place was clean and well equipped for the price. Pool area was nice and pool was clean. Breakfast was marginal with very few choices. Price even with a weak breakfast was very good and the place felt safe.

It is an ok place. The breakfast is all cold. Not much to really talk about. Best to consider the place as having cereal, coffee and packaged muffins.
