I liked the hotel. It's kitchy, but kind of old. For instance, the bathroom was a mix of olf and new. The rooms don't have a refrigerator, which would be nice. Biggest issue was there was only one working elevator. That's not sufficient for a hotel with a popular public bar on the top floor. Also, I stayed here for the convenience of having the light rail across the street. But, the U-district is really not a nice neighborhood to walk around at night.

Hotel is lovely. Mountaineering Club (roof top bar) is fabulous! Fitness room is small and hot ... needs some attention. One (of 2) treadmills were out of order.

Valet parking is mandatory, which means extra cost. The room doesn’t have fridge or microwave, it is a little difficult to preserve food. The view is excellent, the space needle is clear outside the window.

I read complaints from a year ago about the elevators and true to form, they were a nightmare. Clearly management has known they are slow and break down but have chosen to not make it better

Decent hotel. Good location to the light rail station. Rooms are something between out-dated and charming. Didnt have any issues with noise and was on a high floor. Nice bar with a great view. Overall: recommend but would only return to go to a Washington Huskies game.

No bar or refrigerator in the room. Very grateful to the valet attendant who had to retrieve our vehicle several times to collect items left behind. Stay here for the rooftop lounge and restaurant the food and atmosphere were phenomenal as were the unique cocktails.

Valet parking charges for a hotel like this are a joke. Should be free parking on site (or boldly state in your ads the reality is you have No parking).

The property was clean, but it was in obvious need of some renovations. Multiple people I talked to had issues with the thermostats not working in their rooms. Noisy, but to be expected for Seattle. Great views from upper floors, even from rooms not designated as having a view. Neighborhood was filled with homeless people in the evenings/night. Nowhere to park unless you use valet parking.

Arrived around 2pm. Wasn't able to check in until after 7pm because rooms weren't ready. Short staffed with house keeping. Only one elevator worked. Breakfast offerings in the cafe were scant and not very tasty. Was nice being across the street from the venue but if i had to do it again i would've booked elsewhere.

Clean, ecclectic unique hotel decor, quiet. Very convenient to U Wash. Lots of Asian food options nearby but if you are interested in other food options you will likey need to use transportation to get there.

The silicone around the athtub in the room was alreadyblack in some places. The room wasnt very clean , and there was hair on the furniture. There was also an old, musty smell in the room.Very expansive parking. We came on two cars, paid 88$ for one night plus 21.87 taxes

This property is unkept. Rugs are filthy and holes in pillow cases. I will not stay here again.

The art work in the room was unique and fun. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for the event I attended at the Neptune Theatre. There was a couple of disappointments: the first being 2 dirty pillow cases, 3 out of the 6 towels were dirty or stained badly, the rug was dirty, and at 9:30am someone tried to come into my room while I was laying on the bed checking my phone. I was fully awake when some staff tried opening my door only to be met with seeing me in the room still and the chain lock on the door. Makes me wonder if the staff go into the rooms all the time.

My daughter attends college and I was there to visit her. Nice clean hotel. Would stay there again. Staff is also warm and nice.

First room has a blood stained pillow case… so that kind of ruined the vibe and the illusion of “clean” for this location.

Hotel was in a great location but the cleanliness of the room was not great. Sheets had tears in them. Bathtub had hair and what appeared to be pubes in the tub. The walls are paper thin so you hear every noise imaginable. People were friendly and helpful but the overall stay was not great.

This is the dirtiest and filthiest hotel my family and i have ever stayed at. Right after checking in, we take pur first shower and the bathtub is not draining, shower head is also closed with filth, only a few spouts work. We called downstairs, plumber gets sent it fixes only the drain. Stains everywhere, even the bedsheets, rooms are not vacuumed the entire stay we stayed 7 days. Beds are not made regularly, towels are not changed daily in the bathroom regularly. Every evening we came back to the room we had to call either for towels or the bedsheets. You should see the condition of the bathrooms, stains on the walls and floors everywhere, mold. When we showed pictures to the front desk , he told us " did you tell housekeeping?" Is is pur job to tell housekeeping about he conditions of the rooms? He even told us they dont vacuum the rooms. In the day and age, post covid, with all these prices being charged, no one should stay at any hotel toom that dirty. We never ever again....

My room wasn’t properly maintained and huge amounts of condensation poured down the inside of the windows, pooling around the electrical outlet. Black mould was forming on the walls so it was obviously not a new problem. As a result the room was freezing, and using the noisy heater would wake me up in the night. There was also sticky old dust and other people’s pills under the bed. The staff were wonderful and so helpful, but I can’t rate the property highly given the poor maintenance and unsafe conditions in the room.

Friendly staff. However I was on the 10th floor and could hear the bass coming from the bar on the 16th floor

The room is definitely not worth the price. $200 a night and there wasn't even a mini fridge or a microwave. The TV sucked too and the doors to the rooms don't come all the way down so people can easily hear and peek into your room if they wanted. There's enough room for a phone to go under the door and record whatever you're doing without you being aware of it. I'm finding somewhere else to stay next time I visit Seattle.

It's an old building, and that's the charm, but they have to do something about isolation. I could hear everything next door, including the bathroom as if I were there. This is not just next door but also in the upstairs room. It is not acceptable.

It was a cool vibe. But the HVAC was out so it was freezing cold! It took forver to get ahold of staff when i finally did they said they would bring an extra blanket they never came. & only wanted to reiburse $15 when it affected our whole stay.

Weak AC

Tv didn’t work in room, someone came to try and fix it and could not get it to work. Asked if I wanted to switch rooms and I said yes but no one ever followed up on that so I stayed in the same room. Restaurant was closed while I was there. Room was by ice machine, heard people/doors/ice all night. All in all stay was not as expected/would have liked.

No Air Conditioning & housekeeping Didn't make up our room. A Hilton hotel in America with No Air, really.

Noise comes from neighboring rooms, through adjoining door, kids yelling and dog barking, noise easily leak through. Otherwise the stay was fine.

Such a cool place, great location, exceptional service and good vibes.

The whole aesthetic, the public areas, and the cafe are all great. However, Room 709 was incredibly small. As in, you couldn't open the door to get out of the bathroom without either stepping into the bathtub, standing on the toilet, or squeezing into the space between the tub and the toilet. There are no drawers in the entire room. Anything that looks like a drawer is fake. You can also hear through the walls of the hotel — your neighbors talking, getting in past midnight, or singing in their showers at 5am. I also had an issue getting toiletries. I went to the front desk for moisturizer, and they said they would send someone up. 1.5 hours later I called down to the desk, and they told me to come back down and get them. When I came down they were in the process of asking an elderly woman why she or her husband couldn't bring her own bags down from her room to check out! I was totally shocked. And, of course, after I picked up the moisturizer on my own, someone came to my room about 40 minutes later with more. Finally, my key also worked only sporadically. I had to get it replaced, eventually, after which it didn't work at all! Someone from the front desk actually had to come up with me to let me in with the master key fob. All in all, the hotel does not live up to its 4-stars, and the staff is extremely young and not trained in hospitality. They didn't know how to solve problems (really? You don't understand why an elderly lady needs help with her bags???).

The location is great and the vibe is fun. Staff were great when we dropped off luggage before check-in and upon check-in. The staff handling reservations/checking for the rooftop bar were horrible and blocked several hotels guests, us included, from getting in the elevator to go to our rooms after checking in . Apparently it’s more important for groups to get to the bar than hotel guests to be able to go to their rooms?? When checking out messaged the valet for our car to be brought but they still hadn’t seen the message when we arrived 15+ minutes later, I didn’t get a reply to my message for almost an hour, by which time we had already gotten our car and left.

Stay was good, but I reserved a King room and they changed it to a queen room. They overbooked us and kicked us off because we used Hotels.com. Overall clean room, bottles of shampoo etc were empty.

Wonderful place in the heart of the U District. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated their friendliness. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are well laid out with fun furniture and art.

We did not get any housekeeping service and did not get compensated for this poor service. Could have stayed at a much cheaper AIr BNB. Adriana at front desk was very rude and unprofessional.

Our whole stay at the hotel was a good experience. It started with the valet, Amuni, who was a nice and pleasant young man to the pleasant and friendly people on the front desk to the good meal we had in the bar to the very pleasant room with a very comfortable bed to our exit with a pleasant staff and a nice valet. A real plus hotel near hospital that we had appointment at. All greatly appreciated.

Staff was extremely helpful. Anna overheard my needs & helped me, despite it wasn’t her job to help. Valera were super nice & accommodating.

I don't know. You might want to pass on staying here! This was the cutest boutique hotel! Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready when we checked in at 8pm, (5 hours past the 3 pm check in time) due to a "linen shortage". We were told to come back in an hour, Once in our room, it was obvious one of the beds still had not had the sheets changed. There were note papers under the covers and black hairs on the pillowcases. We found 2 fitted sheets and pillowcases in a nearby storage closet and changed them ourselves. When we got in bed, the TV didn't work. Sound but no picture. Called the front desk, but there was no one there to repair it til morning. We were told they couldn't refund us any $ on the room because we had booked through a third party, Expedia. They advertise bikes for use on your stay and even display a cute bike next to the front desk with a sign, but on inquiring about using the bikes, were told that the engineer had shut down the progtam because the bikes weren't safe for riding, with loose spokes and other unspecified mechanical issues. It sure was quaintly decorated, vet disappointingly fell short.

I paid for this stay on Hotels.com. The property charged me again for it when i checked out. I had to run it up the ladder to the assistant GM to find any help at all and then he never called me back. I ended up calling them again a few days later and then they charged me again!!! After all that they said they can see that ive been triple charged and said they woudl refund in a week or so. How does that even happen. They finally refunded after all the run around and did not even offer to comp the egregious $50 parking or anything. Kinda a brutal experience.

Convenient location of the hotel in terms of proximity to Univ of Washington campus.

I would caution people to be aware the hotel charges a per night fee of just over $28 to all guests that aren’t noted at booking. I’d also avoid walking outdoors during non-daylight hours. The area around the hotel is sketchy at best.

The Graduate Hotels are fun and quirky and Seattle's hotel is no exception. I did not recieve Expedia VIP rewards at all from the hotel. We also had to pay almost 70 dollars with all the taxes and fees to park here for one night. (Not including tip) It is on campus and there are lots of dining options but there are also lots of homeless sleeping on the sidewalks.

Nice, close to university and housing. Valet was convenient.

Great location close to campus and light rail

Hotel is right across from The Neptune Theater which is perfect for booking for the night of a concert.

A little worn, but lots of character. The surrounding area is typical for a place close to a university campus. Plenty of nearby places to eat, and close to the light rail.

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. When my husband and son walked to the convenience store, they passed multiple people sleeping on the streets and other people that didn’t appear to be tourists or locals going about their day. It was fine during the day, but I would not recommend venturing out after dark. It is about 20 minutes from downtown and 25-30 minutes from the airport.

The Graduate is a cool, stylish choice. It is mostly aimed at a younger crowd (we are in our 40's and were there with our daughter), but we all found it comfortable. The rooftop bar, the Mountaineering Club, is a great place for panoramic views of Seattle. The U District is as central a location as you will find, but be aware that there will be noise on the street at night if you keep your windows open. The Poindexter Cafe downstairs was a great place to grab bagels and coffee in the morning, and street parking for the night was easy to find in the neighborhood.

Hotel built around a rooftop bar/restaurant. Even guests have to make reservations. The big thing here are the views, that's the draw. Old building, old feel. Probably not return. Good: close to UW and ave., across from light rail, busses, comfy king bed, clean, good water pressure. Bad: pricey, valet parking only, tiny rooms/ bath, always wait for desk clerk to show up, put some mirrors in the room for crying out loud.

We went up to the Mountain Club for cocktails, only to find that they were closing early because of "Mechanical problems " with the dishwasher. We got a drink, but since there are no other bars close by, it was an early evening.

This hotel was terrible. The rooms are really old and not maintained. Outlets didn’t work. Pillow cases were torn. Air was really stagnant and Smokey. Front desk staff were nice. No room service. Never got clean towels. Needed more toilet paper and they gave us a used half roll. Roof top bar could have been nice but the outdoor chairs are truly terrible. I have never written a review before and I travel frequently. I had to write a review on this hotel. The area (U district) is very run down and getting worse but clearly not the Hilton’s responsibility and has no control of this. Sadly, Hilton is also clearly not putting resources into this hotel as I am guessing the continued economic decline of this area is putting this hotel in the red. That said, don’t stay here. Stay at the Stay Pineapple a few blocks away. Much better hotel.

We really wanted to like this hotel, but just didn’t. First, the good: really close to UW and the link, front desk staff was friendly and helpful even with unreliable internet making their job much harder. Also, the Mountaineering Club on the top floor was fun- but awkwardly found out as hotel guests, even with table reservations, you can’t just go up there, you have to go down to the lobby to have someone use the secret elevator card pass to get you there. The first floor coffee shop has good coffee and sandwiches but at times can be understaffed and out of many food items. The lobby is spacious and nice to sit and work. The bad: Hilton needs to put significant money into upkeep. While the hotel is supposed to feel nostalgic and classic- it just feels tired and old and like you’re staying at Disney’s Hollywood Tower of Terror Hotel. I think I can feel what this hotel once used to be, and it was very cool. Literally everything needed attention- long extension cords serving as outlets in the rooms, missing artwork on the walls leaving only their hardware and scratch marks from where they once were. Walls in need of painting, carpets in need of deep cleaning, furniture needs repaired, elevators need servicing. It’s all livable and relatively clean but disappointing. We only required one day of housekeeping in our 4 night stay and we returned to find our tip gone, dirty towels taken but not replaced but nothing else done- trash still full, beds unchanged.

Was disappointed that the mountaineers club was closed on the only day that I could use it Tuesday

Fantastic art, killer rooftop bar. Everything was perfect.

This hotel is beautifully decorated and has a fun theme. The lobby is gorgeous and comfortable, especially the fireplace! The service is slow - I waited 12 minutes for someone to return to the counter and check me in. But the cleaning staff and valet were super friendly and helpful. The desk and chair were not comfortable but fortunately the lobby had great work areas. I would stay here again for a short weekend trip but it is not ideal for a longer business trip.

I loved the decor, not like any other hotel room I have ever seen. It was as though Joanna Gains had designed it. Bed was very comfortable; room was very comfortable with sofas and chairs. My only complaint is that there wasn't an onsite restaurant open in the evening, just a bar which we were denied entry because it was too full of college students. We got in late and we were hungry and had to walk around the area to find something to eat. Also the body wash dispenser was empty.

The roof top restaurant was by far my absolute, favorite, beautiful views great service. The ambience was amazing. Definitely will be back. The coffee shop was a nice perk after a night out.
