I had a corner CITY VIEW room on the ninth floor. The window on the left opened to a painted white brick wall (NO CITY VIEW), and the window straight ahead showed the roof of a seven story building that had storage for old aluminum piping, sheets of aluminum, gutters, old air conditioning wiring, basically it was a dump for old building materials. Needless to say we never opened our curtains. Calling this room an upgraded CITY VIEW was not good for a Hilton property.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: POTENTIAL GUEST TRAVELING BY CAR BE AWARE THAT HIS HOTEL HAS MAJOR ISSUES WITH CAR BREAK INS WHEN USING VALET PARKING. HAD MY LEXUS SUV DARK WINDOW HATCH BROKEN AND HAD SEVERAL ITEMS STOLEN. THIS OCCURRED AFTER 12:30 A.M. AND STAFF DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE BREAK IN. I DIDN’T FIND OUT UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING WHEN I WAS GOING TO USE MY CAR FOR THE DAY. I EXPERIENCED A WASTED DAY AS WAITING FOR HOTEL STAFF/MANAGEMENT TO ADDRESS MY ISSUES. ASLL I RECEIVED WAS THE TYPICAL “INSURANCE STATEMENT”. THE HOTEL DIDN’T BOTHER TO CONTACT THE SEATTLE POLICE ON MY BEHALF, NOR WOULD THEY ASSIST IN TRYING TO HAVE A REPLACEMENT GLASS WINDOW WITH A CAR GLASS COMPANY. HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY RELIABLE STAFF THAT THIS HAS BEEN A MAJOR ISSUE WITH PREVIOUS GUESTS WITH NO ASSURANCES BY A “TASK MASTER MOD” WHO WAS NOT HELPFUL OR CONCERNED AT ALL IN ASSISTING ME AS PER THE HOTEL INSURANCE COMPANY. I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THE CONDITIONS ON THE BACK OF THE VALET TAG THAT THE HOTEL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, ETC. STILL WAITING FOR SEATTLE POLICE TO SEND A LINK TO OPEN A FILE. WILL ALSO NOW HAVE TO FIND AND HIRE A SEATTLE LAWYER KNOWING FACTS ABOUT THE BREAKINS OF CARS AT THIS HOTEL. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

I loved this place. Staff extremely friendly. My room was tiny but had everything i needed. I didn't use the gym. The little cafe in the lobby was nice. It's a wonderful location. 7 min walk to the Pike Market.
