La Quinta by Wyndham Seattle Downtown

Check in was excellent. They were able to provide a room much earlier than the 4 pm time. Desk clerk was very personable. Lighting in the room was odd and sparse. Breakfast was not as good as other La Quinta’s I have stayed at. There were no cooked eggs or breakfast meats. Food was set up poorly and everyone was tripping over each other trying to get their food. There was a broken elevator. The property was a little dated and in need of “refreshment”.

Parking in the underground lot is very tight.

Overall good place to say will say the room we stayed in had few outlets that were not working. Parking was a little tight would need a really compact car.They do have additional parking in the back of hotel. Still a good place to stay for a family of 5.

We loved our room. Very quiet. The shuttle driver even took us to the pier early to get to our cruise! Great staff and very helpful

Was a comfortable stay and was great that it had a shuttle service, however it would have been nice to know the shuttle was cash only, so we could have been prepared. Please let people know it’s cash only when making shuttle arrangements.

Area is clean super nice, I wouldn’t pay 20.00 for parking tho since the fee for one night was 245 the parking should have been included in my reservation.

Aged exterior, but beautiful and nice i side. Only downfall, very limited parking.

Plain hotel, nothing fancy. They do have a great breakfast free of charge. Transportation to the cruise pier. In a good location

The hotel was overcrowded, only one elevator working, our room was immediately adjacent to the elevator, people waiting for and exiting the elevator were loud and noisy, people in next room were loud and noisy. The manager allowed us to exit the hotel to find another. Parking was terrible.

Excellent location, midway between Space Needle and Pike Market. Good breakfast, but room too small for crowd. Only problem was accessing the parking garage in the alley behind the hotel.

It was difficult at best to get answers to questions. The parking garage was almost impossible to find. The room had an odor in it like old frying oil

The hotel is centrally located and reasonably priced. Other than that, the room, especially the bathroom was run down. Toothpaste stains on the mirror, hairspray stains on the glass picture by the sink, the tub was discolored, rust stains coming through the paint in the bathroom, and outlet situation was weird. I had to move furniture to find them. The food was ok, not great.

Room was not very clean, staff not rude but not friendly

The room was not cleaned properly with clots of hairs lying on floor and visible hair strands on counter top. Breakfast served was of good quality. The property is walkable from Seattle Center.

Great staff, shoutout to Alex for helping with all the little things and making our stay even better! Comfortable beds, huge rooms! Really enjoyed the area, super walkable and not far from the light rail. Lots of good shops nearby, Pike Place Market is a 12 minute walk away. Laundry on site for guests which is another major plus, especially if you’re staying more than a few days. Overall, very clean, well run hotel. Not a single complaint or problem. Fast wifi, kind staff, big rooms, fantastic area. We’ll be back next time we’re in Seattle!

We came into town for a concert. The front desk checked us in in a timely manner and was very courteous. We thought that was going to set the tone for our stay at the property. We were horribly surprised when we got to our room and discovered that it was extremely outdated and falling apart. The first thing we noticed is that all the carpet was fraying around the baseboards and the large holes that were burnt into all of the curtains. The room also had a strong musty mold smell. Upon further review of the room, we noticed that all of the furniture had looked like it had water damaged and was peeling. The fabric under the chairs was falling away and hanging down. The mirrors and bed frames and around the edges of the carpet was very dusty with dirt buildup. We also noticed large amounts of mold around the upper walls in the bathroom and around the door frames. There was so many people at the Continental Breakfast the next morning that we actually had to take our "hot breakfast" to our room and heat it up in the microwave. The hot breakfast is frozen breakfast bowls and breakfast sandwiches. For the price that we paid we were expecting a much better experience in what appeared to be newly upgraded property.

Easy check-in - great view of space needle - bed was a little aged - great area down town for walking to several sites - plenty of dining options

Check in was quick and easy. Clerk was super nice and let us check in early. Rooms are weird configuration and the walls are paper thin. All in all , it was fine

Pillows were very uncomfortable. Bed was good. Staff was good. Location was good. Couldn’t sleep because the pillows were so uncomfortable

The only thing fresh was the coffee and apple. Everything is packaged, unhealthy and frozen food. The carpets were old need replacing and not shampooed. There was a hair out of my rolled up towel. The soap was very drying. The room faced the alley next to a building that kept fluorescent lights On all night. we were awakened before 5am by loud booms several times. Could not go back to sleep. I had asked for a quiet room away from the elevator and got the opposite. The best part of the hotel was the underground parking which is gated and only $20 with in and out privileges. And the elevator was broken, only 1 was working and the hotel was sold out.

Hotel was decent location. Rooms had no curtains, just sheer white ones. Too bright in the morning.

The furniture in the rooms needs to be updated.

No frills but convenient location, comfortable bed, and very affordable parking. The hotel needs updating but the bed, pillows, sheets, and towels were all nice and clean so it those things all made up for it.

I like that we could walk to many places in Seattle downtown. The property could use some upgrades. There were loud construction noises in the middle of the night!

Older hotel, but it was more in our budget. We hardly even spend time in hotels anyway when we're on vacation. It was clean and in a safe area, which are most important to me. Pros- location! Walkable to Seattle Center, Pike Place, and the Waterfront. Across from Amazon offices in a newer area, so definitely less sketchy and less homeless people. Whole Foods is a block away (great for affordable, easy dinner and groceries; we have a 2 year old), and Kitana right next door has great coffee and acai bowls. Amazon Spheres is also a few blocks away. Furthest we walked was Olympic Sculpture Park. We only rented a car on our last full day/night ($19/night parking) to hike at Twin Falls and to go to the airport. It was $50 for a taxi from Sea-Tac to the hotel. (Much cheaper than Uber by $20 at least) Cons- older hotel. Shower/toilet room was dark (shower pressure was good though). AC kind of loud. Sofa bed squeeky and lumpy. Outside noise a bit loud. No Smart TV. There was enough space for the 3 of us (1 queen & a sofa bed) and plenty of bathroom counter space though. Breakfast was eh. Microwavable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and breakfast bowls. (No fresh food). Fruit. Coffee/juice. Waffle maker. Breakfast bars. Bagels/bread. Otis Spunkmeyer muffins. Yogurt. We didnt get to check out the gym. I would stay here again!

Street noise and close rooms. Outside layer of our room window pane was pretty cracked and broken. Decent hotel but will be better when updated. Beds were amazingly comfortable

The mgr and front desk were AMAZING. Very helpful (I had sent a decoration for our rm ahead of time, for our 25 wedding anniv. It was in our rm AND a lovely anniv. card & box of chocolates besides.) They stored our luggage after we checked out, so we could go sightseeing. They made calls for us (taxie etc). Breakfast had a lot of choices (some hot) and was included. Nice robes & slippers too!

Kerri was extremely helpful and informative at check-in. She kindly explained what we needed to know.

The stay was ok. Convenient location downtown with parking is a perk! However, I was quoted a certain amount through Expedia and then the hotel overcharged me 50 dollars after my stay. They refunded part of it back after talking with Expedia customer service but did not refund the full amount. Is that not fraud?

This is the best La Quinta that I have stayed in! The staff was very friendly and our room was clean!

We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise. It was our first time to Seattle and wasn't sure where the best options were for the airport and cruise ship, with a day to spend in Seattle being a tourist. I'm very happy with my choice. We took the light rail from the airport and walked a few blocks to the hotel with our luggage. We arrived a few hours before check in, but they graciously locked our bags in the luggage room and we went off to explore. After having lunch and tooling around Pikes Market for a few hours, we came back and checked in. Our room was older but clean. Bathroom was a bit run down but overall, it fit our needs. Breakfast in the morning was very good with numerous options. The highlight of the stay was the staff. The three workers we interacted with couldn't have been better. They offered tourists tips, restaurant recommendations and helped us book cruise port transportation.

The room was clean and the breakfast was amazing but the front desk staff the first day was extremely rude then the front desk staff on the second day was rude that same day the second day the maintenance man in the garage yelled at my husband about how to open the garage door and was extremely rude about it instead of extending our stay one extra day like we had planned we actually booked a room at a different hotel and just left

My go to place to stay in Seattle. Great location for walking downtown. Restaurants and shops all around. 45 minute walk to stadium compared to 1 and a half wait for Light Link after games. All around great place.

Convenient location, close to Space Needle and Museum of Pop Art, walkable distance to Downtown and Piers

Perfectly located near a variety of restaurants, Whole Foods, the Seattle Convention Center, and Pike Street Market (the latter two are less than a mile). I parked my car at the hotel and didn't drive it again until the morning I left. The rooms are clean, dated but clean. Staff was very friendly.

Great location, 15 mins walk to piers and pike place market, 10 mins to space needle. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Safe and quiet location. Helpful and friendly check in staff. Good size/clean room and comfortable beds. Could not fault this hotel.

Perfect location to coffee shops, restaurants and walking distance to the waterfront and the Space Needle. Parking in gated underground lot and no need to drive anywhwere One block to Whole Foods..

Breakfast was very crowded, and staff had a hard time keeping food supplied and breakfast area clean. Older smaller rooms but comfortable and clean, good beds, hotel had been updated. Liked parking was under building in locked area. Staff was very helpful and professional.

The front desk attendants were helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast and breakfast area were subpar. On a very busy morning, there was no one restocking or cleaning the area. For example, there was cereal but no milk and all the tables were dirty.

The staff were very accommodating. Best La Quinta breakfast choices I’ve ever seen. Close to many downtown Seattle attractions.

Breakfast was good. More than just pastries and coffee. Waffles, cereal, fruit, hardboiled eggs and breakfast burritos.Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, too.

Breakfast had great selection. Strawberry pancakes were my favorite. Parking was good, just have to get out to punch the code(or have a passenger who can do it for you). Over all great stay

Everything was excellent except out timing for arriving at breakfast. It was busy there was no napkins, coffee, bananas or several other items that were brought out later. There was no staff person around for the first 10-15 minutes we were there. Once the staff person came back they spent the next 10-15 minutes restocking everything. The breakfast room had cleared out by then so if we had arrived at this point it would have been great.

Entire hotel shows age and neglect. For $350 a night Wyndham should be embarrassed. The breakfast included with our stay was nothing but packaged food with a few fresh fruits in a dark and dingy room.
