Rooms are old and a little run down. Only one elevator was working and it was very small and slow

The property is a historic hotel which adds to its charm but also makes it feel a bit dated. One of the big perks is that the hotel itself is not massive. No matter what room you are in, you are not going to have a long hike to get to your room as there are not that many rooms were floor. That being said, the property is not really set up for tons of people. There are two elevators, both pretty small, and they are not the quickest. The room itself was spacious and clean. We needed an extra bed and the staff accommodated us with a rollaway. The main reason we chose the Mayflower was its proximity to Seattle's awesome railway system. One of the main hubs, Westlake, is literally across the street from the hotel. However, be advised. I used Google Maps to navigate us to the hotel from the station and it told us to take exit B out of Westlake Station. However, that exit is tied to the Westlake shopping center and the doors are locked when the shopping center is closed. We found that even when the doors were unlocked you could not really exit. Take the C exits instead. While the downtown location is convenient, it does also mean more noise (even at night) and interaction with unhoused people, some of whom clearly have mental health issues. It does take a bit of caution to navigate and you are likely to see more butt cracks than you bargained for. But on the flip side, there are countless coffeehouses nearby.

Very nice historic hotel in a great location in downtown Seattle, only a few blocks from Pike Place Market, the convention center, and literally around the block from the monorail station. Service is also excellent, and staff are uniformly friendly, courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the classic cocktail lounge, Oliver's, and the restaurant, Andaluca, for a good breakfast.

Amazing hotel. Bar had the best burger I’ve had in a very long time!

Terrific Heritage hotel in a great location. No pool or hot tub but if not important to you, you’ll enjoy your stay. Oliver’s Lounge for happy hour and cocktails is a must and Andaluca restaurant has been there 30 years and is wonderful as well. The valet team and front desk staff all very attentive and professional.

Thin walls, horrible shower pressure, old tv. $70 for parking!

Very nice 4 nights in Seattle at the Mayflower Park. It was a good location downtown with a good lounge and restaurant which we enjoyed several times.

The room and hotel was clean front of staff was also very helpful

Room smelt like cigarettes

Classic hotel with beautiful ironwork. Rooms are comfortable and bedding clean. However there was a strong mildew/mold smell particularly strong in hallways. Less strong in the room, but triggered a sore throat and sneezing.

Beautiful old building. I found someone else’s dirty shorts under our bed when we were packing up to leave.

Very deserted area. Didn’t feel safe. Lots of homelessness around. The hotel itself was great. Our room was dated and in need of deeper cleaning but good effort on the staff.

This hotel is in a great area in downtown Seattle and the staff is very nice and friendly. However, this hotel is disgustingly dirty and gross overall. We checked into a queen room and the bathtub was cracked with mold coming up if water touched it and the drain was spitting up nastiness from pipes. We were changed to another room, there was no crack in the tub but the drain was doing the same thing. The elevators unfortunately smell really bad and there is a strange old cigarette smell throughout the entire property.

Downtown Seattle, like many large cities, is pretty dirty and has a large homeless population. However, the hotel itself and the access to other dining options were amazing. The drain in our shower was jot draining properly. We used the shower only twice and the first worked well, but the second time it would not drain fully.

Loved this unique boutique hotel! Beautiful historic building, great location to everything you need downtown, great service. My only complaint was there was no fan in the bathroom and there was mildew in the corners and above the mirror.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is quiet and very clean. The room had a musky smell. The chair and carpet should be replaced and bathroom remodeled.

Very small room and bathroom. Very clean and classy hotel, bat lacks modern amenities. Lounge area, a half stairway off the lobby, was stiflingly hot in the morning while the sitting area in the lobby was too cold. Central location in the city was good and walking distance to Pike's Market, restaurants and entertainment venues was convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mayflower! Excellent room w a view of Seattle on the 7th floor and a huge comfortable corner suite! The room was serviced dailey. Bell hop in and out — nice bar/restaurant w a nice easy menu. Walking everywhere you want to go! Would definitely stay again —

Central to everything. Link light rail next door, so easy transportation to/from the airport and to other places. Large room with 2 bathrooms. Comfy beds. Great all round hotel. Didn't eat at hotel but bar area etc looked lovely.

Beautiful hotel, good service, cocktails and appetizers were delicious, breakfast was fantastic. Maybe since i had a standard room, i had no view, room was a little cramped, and the bed was way too firm for my liking. I had trouble sleeping all night.

This historic hotel is in a great location to downtown shopping, restaurants and Pikes Place Market...but the hotel is in need of renovations - it's nice but a bit dated - the bathroom in the room especially and it was small

The hotel is in a good location in downtown Seattle that is walkable to transit/light rail. The staff were polite but not overly friendly and the hotel shows its age. The beds were very firm. Not to my liking. Would likely not stay there again

This hotel is well maintained and an excellent location overall, however (and it's a big HOWEVER!) the walls between each room are paper thin and you can overhear any normal conversation very clearly, as well as bathroom 'noises', etc. THIS part of it was NOT pleasant, as I just wanted (needed) to have a nice, restful, peaceful getaway. They need to fix this issue ASAP, as its not acceptable in any higher priced hotel such as this one.

Lovely property and room. Loved the walking distance to the area. Only complaint was the small bathroom and toilet that was too low.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and most aspects met our expectations. However, I would like to suggest an improvement for the future: the Wi-Fi connection was slow and unreliable, which made it difficult to stay connected. Addressing this issue could enhance the overall experience for guests.

There are no words to describe how pleased I was with my stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel. Starting with the location: The Hotel is around the block from the light rail station, which meant I could take it from (and to!) the airport for $3, versus the $80+ it would have cost to Uber/Lyft. The general area is surrounded by very high end shops (Nordie's, All Saints, YSL, etc.) and is incredibly safe/patrolled. Even though the hotel clearly caters to a more well-heeled crowd than I, I never once was made to feel awkward or odd. Every person that I spoke to/dealt with was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Extra special shout outs to Hezekiah and Richard at the concierge for tolerating my incessant questions/requests with grace, and Sebastian and Jessie at the valet, for always having a friendly smile, helpful suggestion, or just general encouragement. Oh, and Alvin (?) in engineering who sprang to my aid. I would 100% stay here in the future if I'm ever afforded the opportunity. The room was quiet, well-appointed, and impeccably kept. Yes, it is an older hotel, so if your looking for something more tech forward, perhaps look somewhere else, but for those that appreciate the old world class of a boutique European style hotel, definitely check this out. I did check out the fitness room, which was actually a lot bigger than I expected, but I didn't use it because I walked all over that beautiful city!! 11/10. No notes!!

The lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly( needs improvement with her customer service skills)

Lovely breakfast. My only irritation is that when we checked in, the room was not ready. We were early, but they promised to give us a call or text when the room is ready. We never got our call. We just had to show up to get the room. Communication could have been better

We always stay at The Mayflower Park and they never dissapoint. I donʼt know how they manage to find such helpful and thoughtful staff but everyone is always five star.

The lack of "service" expected at an iconic and highly touted hotel was terrible; except for "Levy" the doorman and luggage person who was just great. While waiting for our room to be readied, ONLY Levy asked if wanted coffee or water. No one else cared. Furthermore, the front desk had one gentleman checking in and out patrons, and I stood in line for 30 minutes. Even a holiday Inn gets you in and out in minutes. Check out was similar as the computers were down. Overall, very disappointing in many ways and not anywhere worth the 350$ per night fee.

the property is in a great location. However, the staff requires additional training. First the front desk attendant that signed me and my husband in, threw the keys at me. Second the house keeping staff failed replace bath towels after our first night. When we asked for towels the attendant who delivered them (around 6 pm) was annoyed that she had to deliver towels to us. More training required.

Great location for visiting Pike Place Market. Checked into the hotel at 9a.m. knowing that check-in time was 4p.m. Was told our assigned room was not yet available and to wait in the lobby. While other patrons checked in and received their keys and went to their room, we had to sit in the lobby until 4p.m. before they would allow us to have keys. Poor customer service for waiting patrons.. Felt they could have had housekeeping clean our room more expeditiously knowing we were waiting in the lobby.

The property was nice, well maintained and kept clean. Housekeeping was amazing. I am a bit upset on how the front desk handled my concerns about losing my husbands phone. As we were leaving the property he lost it between the lobby and getting into the taxi. We realized at the airport and called them to see if they can look around and maybe have housekeeping look in the garbage out front as he might have thrown it with his banana peel. I waited a couple mins and they said they don’t see it. I asked them to check outside and to email me back as I have to catch my plane. Nothing. No response. I called them again once I got home and new staff were on and they knew nothing about it and if it was checked but said if it’s turned in they would let me know. I understand losing the phone is on us but it just felt like they didn’t care.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel. All of the staff were wonderful - from the valet to the doorperson, front desk, cleaning staff and restaurant staff. The location of the hotel is ideal for enjoying downtown Seattle - everything is walkable. I look forward to returning.

Nice large rooms, dining is expensive and there was not much around for dining options, especially breakfast. Lots of homeless people around on drugs. Transport links were really close.

Great place to stay with a family. Great walking location and large room. Area around the property isn’t great. Many homeless, saw drugs being used and a woman threatening to shoot someone.

Great experience, walkable, close to Pike Place

This was a perfect location for our Seattle adventures. Next to the train and monorail station and walkable to Pike Place. Quite clean and the staff were vey friendly.

Hotel was very clean and quiet at night. Short walk to Pikes Fish Market area. The walk can be a little sketchy. No one bothered us but there were many people that looked like they were living on the street. Also multiple people that appeared to be on something. Acting weird and a few that were trying to stand or get up but couldn't. We walked a couple blocks to Walgreens and the Walgreens had 2 security guards in uniform patrolling the store. The hotel is great. The food and drinks at the bar were great. But the area around the hotel was definitely sketchy on the day we were there.

The hotel itself was very clean, nice, and historical. However, the walls between rooms were too thin to a point that you can hear every word of the conversation the next room was having. Also, there were many homeless people on the streets; normal, considering that it is downtown- but felt unsafe nonetheless.

Convenient location. Close to light rail & monorail. Short walk to Pike Place Market & Piers. No real need for a vehicle. Staff very friendly and professional. Hotel clean. Would recommend!

Room was very tired and dated. The restaurant was excellent. We wanted to enjoy the ball game at night in the bar but no TV!

Beautiful historic hotel right in the middle of the action. Oliver’s Bar is a lovely spot to have Happy Hour and watch the world go by through the large floor to ceiling windows.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the dining room is beautiful.

Older hotel, comfortable, great location for Pike Place Market and to the monorail to the space needle. Expensive for what you get, as you are paying for the location. The hotel bar and restaurant was also overpriced. Hasn’t been updated with numerous outlet options, we had to struggle with plugging in cell phones, CPAP machine, hearing aid charger. Staff was very courteous, food was good.

The Mayflower Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The staff was courteous and attentive. Oliver's the Bar and Andaluca had great ambiance and food.

The. food menu at Oliver's could use some improvement...better variety and better quality.

Only draw back, last call was before 1035p on a Saturday night at Oliver's! That's too early on a Friday or Saturday night!
