I cannot say enough good things about The Cactai. This place is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are clean, really well appointed, and spacious. I had a couple things I needed help with and the owners were extremely responsive and friendly. The pool area is immaculate and quiet and the location is so close to great coffee and food. This is the perfect solo retreat and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Property is fresh , clean and bright. Toiletries provided are NOT Le Labo. Bottles are refilled with generic product. Hot tub was not working during our stay. Management offered credit for mini bar snacks but snacks were stale.

The Cactai was a great choice for a taste of Palm Springs and for a relaxing stay. The boutique hotel is fully updated and perfectly designed. We enjoyed not only our room but the pool and spa as well. Joel and Jacob were quick to respond to our needs and accommodating in every way. We highly recommend The Cactai to everyone traveling to PS. Mauricio&Bill

I really enjoyed the heated pool & hot tub! Also my room was fully stocked with an espresso maker! Will definitely consider coming back soon!

We liked the vintage vibes and the property was well take care of. Pool and hot tub were pretty well maintained and having a private back patio area was also a plus. A little bit of a walk to the downtown core district. There was a musty smell in the room but that did clear up after a couple days and keeping windows open. AC worked well but was a little loud. Pack tight if possible as there are two small nightstands. Overal we had a pretty positive experience on a unique property.

Host was responsive, helpful, and courteous. The property was well maintained, serene, had an ice machine, and free filtered water (by the pool area). The room was beautifully decorated & equipped with everything I needed and more (e.g., coffee maker, microwave, etc.). This property will definitely be one I’ll stay again once I’m back in Palm Springs.

Beautiful and well-kept! We had the best at this charming resort. It's quiet as there a just a few rooms, it's charming, we loved the set around the pool and the day beds that sit on artificial turf and is pleasing visually. The pool was too cold for me to get in, odd for Palm Springs, the hot tub also did not get hot. All in all we had a great visit!

Newly remodeled small property. The shower is awesome. Parking spaces are a bit tight. We’ll be back.

The room was mostly very clean except there were some short dark hairs in the shower and I have very long blonde hair. There were no instructions for the coffee maker and I wasted the free water trying to make coffee, but apparently there were no coffee pods as I only got hot water out of it. There is no front desk and my email wasn't working so I couldn't find a number to call when I had an issue. Rather frustrating. Otherwise nice though.

I didn’t want to wake the property manager in the middle of the night by phone but it was hard to sleep with all the yelling. The same party crew were disrespectful and left their trash (cups, beer cans, etc) laying in the pool area and in the pool. The hot tub did not heat and we did not have hot water in our room. Would still stay here again if these issues get resolved because staff do seem like they’re working hard to make it a great place, location is perfect and close to everything, but definitely more monitoring of unruly or disrespectful guests would be helpful. I don’t mind that people were loud and having fun late on a weekend but it was excessive and kept going all night. Def would like to be able to use the hot tub and shower next time!

Such a cool midcentury vibe...with modern conveniences! Super clean and comfortable. The pool was great. Easy walk to downtown Palm Springs. Hope to visit again someday!

Loved the ambience of the property. Everything felt nostalgic while maintaining updated technology and amenities. Pool was always warm and space was cozy and clean.

Great value for a quick trip - price reasonable for appropriate accommodations! Palm Springs vibes down to the decor, close to the action but far enough away for quiet and a safe environment. A few holes to play mini golf, a warm pool, a hot tub and loungers fenced off for an area private to the neighborhood. Room was simple but clean with everything you’d want from a budget hotel but a step elevated (TV, desk, minifridge, nice coffee maker…). Free parking out front including off-street and on. Noting this place does not have a lobby or front desk staff - it’s all digital. But communication was quick, even late at night.

The room was spotless and access to the property and room was perfect even without staff on site! Staff was available if needed and yet, we required nothing as all needs were very much anticipated by the hosts!

Great, easy to find property that has all the essentials for a stay in Palm Springs. I was visiting friends, and the place was close to where they live and easy to get to things. Didn't really see any staff while there, which I guess is ok. It was a place to rest and relax while not out and about. Only issue I had was the steam from the shower set off the smoke detector twice due to no ventilation fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, all was good!

** “Pull out bed” is a basic hard cushion folding couch/futon (see hotel photos) that is not flat when made into a bed.** Location does not appear to have staff on site. Check in was done via online form after reservation was confirmed. Received email with gate/room code after completing form. Room is nice but was extremely humid when I entered. A/c system took a while to figure out as it would not change temperature and ultimately set it to “dry” to help dehumidify room. Bathroom does not have ventilation/cooling/heating other than a window or leaving the door open for room a/c. Enjoyed the Euro bathroom with standing shower and auto bidet in toilet. Make sure to secure your car/belongings inside since parking is outside gated area open to transients.

The property is renovated with an updated mid-century modern feel. Very stylish & appealing. It was quiet with a cozy tucked away feeling. The pool, hot tub were clean & perfect temperature & outdoor lounge furniture was plentiful & comfy. We had a double room. One bed was comfortable & one was very hard. The walk in shower & fancy bidet toilet was luxurious but there was a bit of noticeable water damage on the wall by the shower.

This hotel is truly remarkable and may very well be one of the finest hotels we have had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the seamless and efficient contactless check-in process, which set a positive tone for our stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is undoubtedly the pool. The pool area is beautifully designed, with comfortable loungers and landscaping that creates a tranquil atmosphere. Our room itself is well-appointed, featuring a mini kitchenette that adds an extra layer of convenience to our stay. The bathroom deserves special mention as well, boasting a modern design that is both stylish and functional. The heated toilet seat is a luxurious touch that we never knew we needed, and the remote-controlled features add an element of high-tech comfort that enhances our overall experience. This hotel has exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable getaway. We look forward to returning and enjoying all that this remarkable establishment has to offer once again.

What a delightful little mid-century boutique hotel! Gorgeous, kitsch design aesthetic, bougie amenities like an electronic bidet toilet complete with seat warmer and buns dryer! DELICIOUS coffee options in-room and clean, comfy beds to stretch out on. I will def stay here again <3

Nice location, clean and accessible place to stay. The only issue was that the bed was too hard for us.

I loved this place. The room was huge with a big kitchen and large bathroom. Everything was modern, such tasteful decor, high tech, all you’d want in a TV with apps/channels, super comfy king bed, amazing A/C, and we also loved the pool/hot tub. Would def stay here again.

The area was walkable and great, about 20 minutes to downtown. Only issues were the fire alarm went off because of the heat from the shower and the shampoo was fairly bad quality. 10/10 would recommend.

First and foremost this isn’t your typical hotel where there’s a front desk. If you need anything you have to “text a number.” I had an incident where I was provided with the code to the front door and my room at approx 2:30 pm on Friday 8/15 and I had booked the room til 8/17. After I had came into the room, I was in there for no more than 5 minutes when I had used the restroom to pee and upon flushing the toilet, there was a leak in one of their pipes which caused an explosion of water and led to flooding my bathroom. After I had experienced this I had flagged down the cleaners and they said they would have to contact their boss to “see what they can do.” After that I had reached out to the number provided for guests and spoke with Monty via text and told him about the situation. He then states he is unable to move me and the best he could do was to have them clean the bathroom. The fact that the hotel is fully booked is out of his control and I totally understand that. What really upset me was that instead of trying to make the situation better when I had asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience he states that he allowed me to have “early check in” when check in was at 3 and he had allowed me to check in at 230 when again, he sent me the code for the room I did not ask for it. And then to make things worse when I had asked again for some sort of compensation he states I could have ONE item from the minibar. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay! So quiet and relaxing, and even though staff wasn’t on site they were just a text away (and very helpful!).

Excellent amenities. Room spacious, very comfortable bedding. Even though there is no staff on site, all questions and requests were addressed via text quickly and satisfactorily. Loved the decor!

This location just invites making friends in the desert. The pool area brings a community feel to location. Everyone was really friendly and enjoyed having some laughs together. The rooms are perfect for our small pet and made it convenient for night time outings in the private patio. Close to all kinds of fun stuff around town whether be golf, downtown, restaurants or casinos. Our new go to spot in P.S.!

The property was great, very quiet and relaxing. My dog felt welcomed by the staff and other guests. The street behind it was sketchy, but we did not feel unsafe.

We stayed at the gorgeous The Cactai Boutique Hotel in Palm Springs in the hottest week of the year in August 2024. Despite of the scorching heat we had an absolute fantastic time! The hotel itself is located in a quiet dead end street still everything is within easy reach. You can park right in front of the hotel which is pretty comfortable. As you get into the hotel you have this really sassy vibe of mid-century modern Palm Springs. Once you are in on your left there is already an inviting jacuzzi, huge palm trees, and the pool is in the middle of the area surrounded by sunbeds and sunumbrellas. The interior design is really artsy and detail oriented from the crispy white textured bed sheets to the amazingly smelling Le Labo NY liquid soaps. We had everything we needed from the AC to the coffee capsules. We will definitely come back to Palm Spring as we found it just so magical.
