Parking was an issue but we did get a space eventually. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and lunch but not so good for breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful .

Hotel room did not look the pictures, if you’re unlucky enough to be put in the back building your room will be one of the old ones. The experience did not live up to the 4-star rating. The food and drinks at the restaurant were not good; the rooms feel outdated - no way to cast to the TV, not all rooms have a bathtub, no air conditioning; service was good enough but some of them seemed like they just started working there. I respect that this an old historic building and Cork is a small city, so perhaps the things I have mentioned will never be changed. But this is closer to a 3-star hotel than a 4-star hotel experience. The facade is pretty and the website looks sleek, but the experience did not match how they advertise themselves as.
