The hotel was great. The room was big and nice, everything was super clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was very complete. Parking was very easy, in a garage that’s like one block away from the hotel, and which you pay for at the reception when you check out. The spa was also very complete and very fun. Finally, the location is perfect. You can walk around the city and reach anywhere in a few minutes. Would definitely stay again.

First the good: Decent internet, good tv, GREAT location, has a gym and steam room. Staff at bkfst room were good. Not so good: Bkfst at 22euros is average at best--typical of most hotels. Eggs/pancakes are NOT cooked to order. No staff in spa. No showers in locker room. Less than good: They charge for coffee and water beyond the 2 tiny capsules you get. So if when you arrive you have a coffee, you will have none for the morning as they only refill them in the afternoon. Dining room looked filthy. Wonderful view blocked by netting. Awful: There is a smell in the room from some sort of air freshner or perhaps the cleaning supplies which never leaves the room--given the room is stuffy this is bad. Especially since the ac barely worked and just blows around the smell. Stains on the floors, garbage in the hallway. Toilet buttons didn't work. Knobs falling off and bed that was lumpy. All around (except for dining room) the staff was unfriendly. This hotel has seen better days (maybe 35 years ago?) and needs a serious refresh.

Hotel overall was good - bed was very comfortable and the small pool on the property very refreshing during a heatwave. The hotel is a little dated and my bathroom sink and bathtub were damaged as well as had some mildew around the caulking. The air conditioner was ok, not as robust as it should be for the level of hotel this is suppose to be. I dined at the restaurant in the evening and the food wasn’t great. Had to send back my steak for being overdone and had to request twice to replace the cold fries.

Friendly hotel within easy walking distance of all the sights in town (where there are also many restaurants). Good sized pool which was warm and had plenty of loungers and parasols. Room was very clean, slightly tired but nothing major to complain about. Would definitely stay there again.

Aquabella is a lovely hotel for rest and relaxation. It was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. On arrival the staff were all welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious and beautifully clean, having everything we could have wished for. Access to the spa facilities including the large pool was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent, which was served in the orangerie, surrounded by beautiful landscape gardens. We also had lunch and dinner on a couple of occasions and it’s was superb. Unfortunately we only stayed 3 nights but will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. A central location for an amazing hotel for a perfect stay

The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town with all the shopping, restaurants, markets, etc. Cons: our room was not cleaned very well, with little replenished. L’hôtel est très bien situé à Aix en Provence. Les aménagements sont de bonnes qualités avec de beaux jardins et une très belle piscine dans un cadre très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. This is our second stay at this hotel. We stayed for four nights. The staff are very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a balcony overlooking the rooftops and distant mountains. We did not use the spa, but we did go to the pool, which was sparkling and clean.The on site restaurant serves great food, we had dinner one evening. The location of this hotel is fantastic. Just a very short walk to shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is excellent, perfect location for exploring in addition to comfortable, clean and a really excellent service. The rooms are comfortable, with plenty of amenities, and any request was serviced quickly. We ate breakfast in the hotel on one occasion which was also lovely. The pool area is just stunning, with life guard on patrol and great service at the bar. The pool is warm and the area really well kept.

The Aquabella is a gem in Aix-en-Provence. It has been remodeled since my last visit and it is beautiful. The staff was responsive and kind. The L’Orangerie restaurant was beautiful and the food delicious. I will always choose to stay here when I visit Aix.

The hotel was really nice with great ammenities. Spectactular breakfast and really nice dinner menu. We didn't take advantage as much as we should have the nightlife in the local town squares. MUST see. The ONLY negative was the waiter we had the first night in the hotel restaurant. If I had his name i would write it, but he vwry intentionally ignored us at every phase of the dinner, including making us almost have to light a signal fire to ask for our bill. Then he took another 15 to show up for payment. We were dead tired from the flights and he nearly ruined it for us. Should be fired.

This was the perfect stay. Aquabella is close to many bus lines, the local train to get in and out of Marseille, as well as close to the town. Perfect location (and the pool was perfect).

Exceptional location to the old town The pool is lovely, you can always find a spot and it's so nice to dip in and out of (it was HOT while we were there) Food was hit and miss - the lunch we had we didn't enjoy, breakfast was ok All employees were friendly and gave great service The spa looked fab We would 100% return!

Très bel établissement, propre et confortable, bien placé par rapport au vieux centre d’Aix. Parking à proximité (environ 150 m) pour un tarif préférentiel (12 €/24h), sachant qu’il est quasiment impossible de se garer autrement. Très beau et grand spa (hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, piscine intérieure ouverte le week-end), ouvert sans réservation et compris dans le tarif des chambres, ce qui est rare... Petit déjeuner très complet et de qualité, mais le personnel en salle est un peu trop détendu !

Had a great 6 night stay Jul/Aug. The place is in a quiet area and the facilities are really good. the pool area did get busy at times but wasn't overcrowded. The room was good, some minor things but nothing that you would focus on. Breakfast was a good range and we did eat one night in the restuarant which was pleasant. The bar area was good at night. Would recommend.
