Fire alarm went off every day. Gave me PTSD. Couldn’t sleep.

They were renovating part of the hotel and there wasn't much parking. Kinda sketchy surroundings. Also in the morning it was hard to sleep the house keeping kept slamming doors and I think our room was right next to the laundry room because there was lots of noise.

This property was opened way before they were ready in any way. Crews still finishing rooms - construction noise, dust, etc. No hot water for most of multi-day stay; staff not adequately trained; service items like soap bars not available; breakfast was awful (overcooked egg patties stuck together, a Keurig with a pump bottle of outdated, oily caramel flavor, no serving utensils for steamer trays...). No cups in room, keurig but no coffee or other. Towel hangers/hooks not yet installed. Toilet paper holder barely hanging on wall and not level so TP roll constantly slipping off. Feel like we should receive a complete refund.

Unbelievable. I tried to take a shower and shave. I let the water in the sink run for ten minutes, moving the faucet setting around. Cold shave. Tried to take a shower four times. Lukewarm once. Cold three times. Front desk said there was a trouble with the plumbing. Then shut the hotel down! I paid for a hotel, not an arctic outing. I am on business. Saturday, they said breakfast would not be ready till 7AM. Every day, every hotel I have ever stayed at has breakfast ready at 6AM. THere wasn't even hot coffee. When I did get breakfast on other mornings the bread and pastry was stale, the patty sausage was hard and barely warm, the pancake maker turned out the most awful instant pancakes and I don't know how they mass produce those 'fried eggs' but don't do it anymore. I WILL NEVER STAY INJ THIS HOTEL AGAIN. Now I'll get an apology response from management about how sorry they are about my stay but that means nothing.

Cold shower two mornings in a row. No coffee in room. Could not access exercise room.

No hot/warm water... Had to take cold showers. Spoke to front desk several times about the issue was told they are working on it and to give it a little bit more time. It was never fixed. I asked for some of my money back since I did get a bed to sleep in but NO hot/warm water to shower with. The manager at the front office agreed. Said it would take about a week to get the refund and gave me his card. That was 3 weeks ago. He's avoiding my phone calls......

Ice machines broken otherwise grear

Hotel has been recently remodeled/could still be in remodeling phase. Stay was fine until the fire alarm wake up call - but hey, at least they work. The area behind the hotel was rundown (putting it nicely). Looks like someone is putting in the effort to restore the hotel. Kudos to them!

When we checked in there was no hot water. They were working on it and by morning we were able to have enough to shower and shave. There was no in-room coffee, or hand soaps and the refrigerator had not been installed yet. We were told that they had only been open for two days. The property itself was immaculate. Looks like a work in progress. Pretty pricey but it was Bourbon Fest weekend and a Louisville Football game.

Room smelled of stale smoke when we walked in. But nice room needing more updates (shower base had hole/crack) but bed was comfortable. There was security outside to be sure we had parking. The pounding music from the gathering next door went on for hours! Very annoying when your trying to get some rest.

Floor was dirty, walls had scuffs and chipping peeling paint

The room was fine the only issue I had was that the shower wasn’t cleaned, the reason I say this is because there was a long black hair left in the shower on the shower floor, and when I see that, it usually means the shower wasn’t cleaned.

Both Friday and Saturday night loud music played at the convention next door until 1:30. People all out in the parking lot. Very hard to sleep. Then EVERY time we got clean towels......they weren't clean!! Black hairs all on them. Very gross. Just very disappointed with the hotel itself.

Hotel was very clean and up to date. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay again next year

This was a nice, clean property and the staff are great.

There was a bunch of kids playing soccer outside the hotel around all the parked cars, with no supervision. Not to mention; that’s a huge liability if they hit someone’s car. The place was not cleaned properly. It said they’d change the sheets and towels daily, and that was NOT the case. Overall, a very sad experience. Not at all like advertised.

The beds are way too low!

Freshly and tastefully remodeled. Huge comfortable bed. Extra pillows. Big clean shower. Only wish there was a fridge and microwave in room

This hotel was not bad. Bed was comfy & pillows were good. Lots of towels is good too. A few of not the so good points #1 no microwave #2 not a fan of the fake wood flooring. The flooring made the room feel cold & impersonal. #3 unclear times for breakfast was the time 6-9 on the weekend or 7-10?

I was unable to take a hot shower the entire time I was there. I expressed my concern and they did not provide a solution or offer compensation for the inconvenience. I had no fridge in my room and no microwave. Housekeeping tried to come in and continued to knock even though my door was latched since I didn’t have a do not disturb sign. And the phone to express any of these concerns did not work as well. The hotel is very well done but it really is just lipstick on a pig. The bones still have lots of issues

Outside of the two parties that went on till 1 am next door, the fire alarm being pulled on Saturday morning and the shower above our room leaking…. Would not recommend. The breakfast was garbage too!

The room smelled musty upon entering. The shower did not provide hot water until a few long minutes of running and then the cold water would not work after waiting again. There were no proper shades on the windows to provide coverage from the outside lights. The mattresses on the beds were very hard, making it even more difficult to sleep with the lights from the outside illuminating the room.

Charged additional to my card. Would not take wyndham discount with farm bureau. Noisey equipment late at night and early in the morning.

Great service and clean room

The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice interior of hotel that appears recently updated. While room was clean, general travel places, breakfast area and elevators, needed prompter care. Hotel not in the best location. While convenient to major roadways, properties in the under major renovation.

My daughter and I stopped for a single night as we passed through town. We were happily surprised by the updated, clean, comfortable room. Breakfast had lots of options, the customer service was excellent, and the beds were comfortable, though my daughter found the tv difficult to navigate. We'd happily stay again.

I did not receive the product which was the hotel key even after the $100 purchase went through. I originally tried my old national debit card and it approved twice at the kiosk and gave me a pending pre-authorization charge as normal. I told the worker and me and her both read the "approved" screen and she said that no receipt printed so it didn’t work. I then asked if I could try another form of payment which was my apple card and she said that I should try. I then sent $250 to my apple card and paid again, it said approved but this time the money got taken from my apple card, but it still didn’t print a receipt. The worker, "Sandra" said she was the manager and that if the receipt didn’t print she couldn’t give us access to the room. For context I already did the pre check in for the room 30 minutes prior to showing up where I was also charged a $1 pre-authorization charge to my bank account which did go through. Despite me paying $100 for what was supposed to be a "pre-authorization charge" in the first place. She then said that she couldn’t do anything about it despite being the manager and that she won’t give me access to the room I reserved until a receipt printed. She even went as far as to say that I should report the charge(s) as fraud, so i’m requesting a refund for the services I did not receive and the money she claims she didn’t get.

Poor customer service. Tried to cancel reservation prior to 2:00 today. Could not contact a person. Refused to issue a refund. The online reservation system is designed to take your money. I will let everyone I know about my experience with this hotel and Expedia.

Neat, clean, quiet spot on the east side of Louisville. Easy access to I-64 and I-264. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Staff was great. The beds were super comfortable. The free breakfast was good but wish it had eggs available. Abandoned hotel building next door was an eyesore, but it didn’t bother me that much.

I read reviews that were posted this month and felt confident in my booking. I arrived to this hotel attached to an abandoned (boards on windows) hotel that I hoped was only an eye sore but I did see some homeless people coming out/hanging out. I was on this trip alone with my teen (mom & daughter) did not feel safe. Looking out our room window was facing this abandoned boarded up building. Each floor had bad staining on the carpets in the hallways but our room was clean. We ended up finding another place to stay. Staff was very nice and located by a lot of great restaurants.

The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast options were great. We loved the four nights we stayed there, and we will be back and will be recommending the hotel to our friends and family.

This is half the prices of the downtown hotels. free sausage and gravy pancake and yogurt breakfast. Will stay again. $100 security deposit was a surprise!

I thought the breakfast would have protein options

Had a good experience. At the start when i was checking in they said they wont accept any cash only credit card payments. While I was checking out, the food was complimentary . A lady who was working there said they charge for the food and accepted cash. I dint get the logic though the stay was calm and peaceful.

Change breakfast options so everyday isn’t the same.
