Trash everywhere on property, room had dirty floor, burned out bulbs. elevator broken, no help with bags to 2d flr. Not a single hook, let alone a closet for hangin clothes. All this for $168?!

This hotel charged me the full amount for the room, including a deposit. The receptionist said the deposit would be refunded to my account, but unfortunately, it has not been returned. Additionally, the receptionist was unfriendly and tense. The breakfast was terrible, with almost nothing to eat, even though the electronic sign outside claimed “fresh cookies every morning.” The pool was closed the entire time. After spending the first night, I looked for other nearby hotels and found a much better option at the same price, specifically the Hyatt, but unfortunately, it had a no-cancellation policy.

Wifi doesn’t work

Trash in the grass, overflowing trash cans, my 10 year old saw a used condum by our car, pool is closed (seems permanently) room has writing on the bathroom mirror in lipstick, black mold, stained and dirty lamp shades, I’ve never left a hotel before my stay was up. The front desk was limited kind, very to the point. Left after one night got my money back for the other 2 nights I had booked. Won’t go back there again

False advertisement looks nothing like the pictures...I wish I would've seen the property before they took my payment...it smells bad in the hallways and even worst in the room...was giving a room that hadn't been dust in I don't know how long..I'm glad I brought my Lysol spray and wipes.. I even put up a car air freshener in the room to try and get the terrible smell out..I stayed one night for $116 which was not worth it at all..and the pool was green enough said

Property was dirty and outdated. Elevator stopped working but when it was working, urine was inside. Not even a phone in the room. AC smelled moldy/mildewy. Mold spores in bathroom vent. Advertised a business center, no business center. Base of the bed was falling apart. The place was probably one of those motels that people live in. Either way 1/10, do not recommend. They surprisingly had an A rating posted at the door of the lobby. Lies.

The pool was posted closed. Sad for anyone who had booked a room from out of town. False advertisement.

The pool was super dirty and green. We was really looking forward to the pool, main reason we booked there. Rooms was clean and nice front desk workers.

Pool was not available. Breakfast choices were very limited with no fruit of pastry. Coffee was not available at breakfast time. Added an extra charge as a deposit that was not refunded for no reason. Shabby and not well cleaned.

Internet was down

The photos are deceptive. The property is in disrepair and dirty. My carpet had crushed candy in it and the sink had a dead moth. The sheets were ripped and stained.

The guy at front desk was very sketchy. Saying he would just keep my 100$ and return it to me later…. I told him no and then he decided that he probably actually does have change for me in the back. He held onto the key while giving it to me and said “don’t loose it”. Wasn’t aware of a $40 deposit fee. Rooms were dirty, stained, smelled like mold. There was no body soap in showers. Towels and bedding had stains. People were being loud all night. Sketchy people all around!

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, checked out the next morning. The room smelled, sheets were stained, blood on the walls. The bed spring sticking out of mattress. Would like a total refund…

Very poor property. Rugs not vacuumed. Ants in room. Terrible hotel experience

The property was very dirty, the bathroom was stopped up along with the sink. The floor was so dirty your feet were so black after walking on the floors. Complained to management and the only thing that was fixed was toilet and also a bathroom light that had went out.

Facility was not very clean. The curtains were barely hanging. The hallways had a horrible smell. The coffee was hot water. The Breakfast area needed to be cleaned. No coffee maker in room. Elevator was super nasty. But the staff was nice.

The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The bathroom really needed to be scrubbed down as there were crusted boogers on the wall, etc.

There were spiders and spider webs in every corner of the room. There also was a cockroach in the toilet. Absolutely unacceptable place to sleep/stay.

Did not like this room. It was dark, the shower pressure was bad and it was defective, the tub looked unfinished with caulking or paint, there was no Kleenex, the fridge was not cold enough and we got one tiny bar of soap which they didn’t replenish throughout our two night stay.

Rooms were clean No furniture in room except two beds, arm desk chair, frig and microwave. No desk, chest of drawers etc. Breakfast was a total joke.... In fairness to them, they say they are going to remodel next year.

Very noisy, couldn’t sleep. Room not the best.

The lock on the door was broken, the carpet was absolutely disgusting, broken wardrobe, broken mirror, broken smoke detector, stained sheets, and a broken light

Small room, somewhat dated. No coffee in room. Shower head leaked. Nice new flooring. Recently painted trim with lots of paint drips on the floors

The bed was sunk in but there were plenty of blankets and pillows. There wasn’t a desk which would have been helpful for my meetings.

rickety elevator terrible, mattress that sunk in the middle needs, a paint job, updates are needed, tub looked stained, sounded like kids lived above us and was jumping up and down through the night, gave an average for cleanliness because whoever cleans cant help that it needs some work done

Old property. Doors open to outside. Not a safe feeling. Tubs cracked.

The hotel employees were incredibly rude and disrespectful. They cancelled my brother in laws reservation without telling him then made it difficult for me to rent a cot for the night. They refused to provide an extra pilot, blanket, or towels. All employees that I encountered during my stay were very disrespectful and unprofessional.

Checking in was good, the 2gentleman were polite and professional. The room was outdated. The tv remote barely worked, guess it needed batteries but had no back to it. Furniture all in the walkways, couldn’t find the ice machine. Was able to come thru the back door to get upstairs thru the lobby to the elevator when checked in but when I checked out I had to walk all the around the building just to get back to my vehicle. The lady at the desk didn’t notice me standing at the window, when I was ready to check out, had to knock on it. She was on her phone with her head down. She wouldn’t even let me in the lobby.

The person I booked the hotel for wasn’t able to check in because of the deposit. I want a refund. She had to sleep in her car. If a deposit is required, it should be added when booking the room.

From the time I checked I’m Friday it was not the best. The TV had no remote so you could not enjoy the TV. The phone to call the front desk was broken in the room. Two of the property managers came to the room and both admitted there was no remote to the TV and told me he would let the front desk know and I would get a discount. They never offered to move to another room. This morning I stopped by and talk to the lady at the front desk and she was not aware of this. However she told me to conta t you all and then there would be a complaint filed. Totally not what sS expected!!!!! I’m expecting some fype of compensation!!!

Staff were friendly and responded quickly to concerns

The staff was very kind. The conditions of the room were not great. There was cigarette burns in the blanket. Our room was supposed to be smoke free.paint was chipping off the bathtub as well. Check in and out was good.

Although it was obvious the hotel was older (lived) and going through some much needed renovations, the rooms were comfortable. Great bed and bedding. Good TV. Quiet environment. The highlight of my trip was the front desk agent/manager. I believe his name was Neet. If I have his name wrong, he was on duty 7/24/23 at 2:00p. Kind, patient, empathetic gentleman. Super responsive to problems, requests and very, very understanding.

The hotel seemed very transient. Lots of noise, the smell of smoke coming into my room. Didn’t seem safe. The bed was very uncomfortable, and one pillow was dirty / stained. My room was not ready when I arrived, so I went out for a bit, and when I came back, the woman at the front desk, said she was in training, spoke very little English, and didn’t seem to understand. I wanted to check in. I ended up leaving a day early from my initial two day stay.

Never stayed front desk lady was rude n unhelpful

I booked to stay at the Baymont in Louisville, KY on hotels.com 5/9-5/10 .It was a last minute trip & I planned to arrive at 10pm on 5/9.Our trip ended up taking longer & when I realized we weren’t going to arrive until 1am ,I called the hotel to let them know my eta. I was on the phone for about 8-10 minutes & no one answered I called again after selecting different options through the phone tree & the attendant confirmed my reservation & also let me know my arrival time is fine.I got to the hotel around 1:04am, the attendant let me know that they had no rooms left. I let them know I already paid for the room & I had an itenerary number through hotels.com . The attendant said , “Yes,you have an itenerary number, but we have no rooms.” I let the agent know I called earlier & he said , “That wasn’t me that picked up, you spoke with someone else.” There was also a gentleman in front of me in line who was dealing with the same issue. I was tired from the drive & now I had to find a place to stay. This was a last minute bday trip my husband & I planned to go to Kentucky Kingdom. We normally dont take time to celebrate b/c we are always working so this was a big deal for us.We had to find a hotel around 2 am in the morning & everytime I called someone was trying to sell me something.We ended up spending more than double what we planned. I also had the hardest time finding a number for hotels.com , I had to look on the BBB to find anything. Will never use hotels.com again.

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. A little drama went on in the parking lot but was quickly handled. Even though it says East, hotel is actually on the West end of Louisville.

The grounds were dirty and unkept with trash scattered throughout the outdoor space. Someone tried to get into our door in the late evening around 10pm, they repeatedly jiggled the handle. Then in the middle of the night, around 2-3:30am, a couple was screaming and arguing in the hall. The woman kept banging on the door and yelling into the room next door to us. Our phone was not working in the room, I called the front desk from my cell phone twice to mention these things. The staff at the front desk were not helpful, they were rude. The morning clerk at the front desk was helpful and kind, she refunded my next night without any trouble. The police were onsite in the morning, which also contributed to the unsafe feelings we had throughout the night. Due to the chaos of our night in the hotel, I am asking for a refund for that night, as well.

Rooms were good, escalator was not too good. Outside was very dirty and people were sitting outside in the group on ground was not feeling safe with family.

It was clean and had friendly staff. The area around it is perfect for grab a quick bite and shopping.

This motel has clearly seen better days. Based on the traffic in the lobby and hallways, it is functioning primarily as alternative housing for people down on their luck. As I was checking out, a woman was audibly sobbing in the laundry room while folding clothes.The management seems to have just given up. The lobby and halls are filthy, with litter on the floors. The rooms were better--shabby but the linens and bathroom were clean. The elevator to the third floor is immediately adjacent to the entrance and the card reader didn't work, so anyone could wander in and up to the only floor with internal room doors. As a lone female traveler I did NOT feel safe. Breakfast was cold breads, biscuits, and gravy. I guess the warming trays did not work. I went to Starbucks. As I was leaving, another guest stormed out saying they refused to stay there and would be requesting a refund. The only reason I didn't do the same is that after a 12 hours drive, I was too exhausted to press on. Orbitz should not be listing this property.

It took about 10 minutes to check in as there was no one at the front desk. I called and no one picked up. Finally, some one picked up on the 3rd call. he said he was making rounds. Lots of shady people around. A man living in one of the rooms shouting and talking to himself. The rooms are not that great. The bed was sunken in the middle making sleep virtually impossible. This is not ideal as I have a long ride ahead of me. Not happy for the amount I paid.

Check in was quick and easy. I didn’t like the fact that they hold $100 for incidentals when the facility was not up to par. The room was outdated but decent, bed was comfy, clean towels, cobwebs and dust, room smelled like cigarettes, ripped carpet, dirty elevator. You can enter rooms from outside or inside. Overall it was quiet and I felt safe. Breakfast was sausage, cereal and waffles. I honestly believe people live here and even though my stay was not bad I would not stay again. I’d rather pay more for a nice clean hotel. I’ve stayed at this chain of hotel before and this was the worst one.

Easy access

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very loud group of probably 20 or more in their breakfast area mostly kids. They had carry out and were eating there. They were very very loud. They should have been asked to quiet down or go to there rooms Our room was fine. The pool was discusting. It was green. So our pool time was ended.The next morning we came down for breakfast at 9am our families of 4 rooms met there for breakfast to find they had no breakfast. No waffle mix. The lady at the desk apologized and went on her way. We just stood there like now what. I did not care for the man behind the desk i believe his name was nic. Hard to deal with on the phone and odk what he said to my families but they definitely got the vibe that he did not like me. Nikki was ok but i felt she should have compt our breakfast somewhere since they had no free breakfast that was promised. Also 2 exact rooms of 1 bed were a $30 difference. That should have been takin care of

The staff was friendly. There was hot food on the breakfast bar. The shower did not have very good water pressure which is important to us. Other than that, everything was very good.

The coffee machine doesn't work for hot water during my stay and no one intends to fix it. Also the milk spoiled but no one replaced it. Others is OK.

Pool was green. Hotel is a bit run down. Some rooms are better than others. Breakfast was OK, but probably the worst that I've been too. Our room was clean. Staff was nice. The pictures on Expedia make it look better than it is.

There were numerous problems. Things I didn't like were the AC unit (which took a very long time to cool and then struggled to keep the room comfortable), the furniture was VERY scratched and marred, no in room coffee makers, no lobby coffee (an institutional size generic one cup coffee dispenser was mostly hot water with no drinkable coffee when brewed), no juice other than apple, bathtub surface was permanently stained, scratched and dull, outside entrances with dirty, beat up doorways, staircases looked dirty and unsafe, there was no closet in the room, just a very beat up armoire with a warped door, and worst of all, when I had to shorten my stay by 1 day and check in at 10PM on Thursday rather than Wednesday through Sunday, my Expedia room rate was lost and my room rate went from $88 to $140 . The review might have been less harsh at the lower rate, but to pay that much for the condition of the overall premises in conjunction with the escalated rate was crazy, in my opinion. I would not recommend this property.
