Yes pool was closed

Very kind person around 8pm at check in. Pool however was the reason we selected a Drury Inn. Our usual Marriott property was booked. We were booking last minute so that was understandable. We were in town for work, but also celebrating our wedding anniversary so we wanted pool/hot tub. This location not only had pool closure but the front desk kind of messed up and told us it was closed for days! Not acceptable. Shame on us for not calling ahead, we will now. Front desk did upgrade us to a suite without us asking, but ha! The one we got was a funny! The bathroom is by front door across LR from bedroom! Strange and not convenient at all! She should have asked us bc we would have preferred normal K room I think over this odd configuration! And update the tub! Good grief. And the room a/c is incredibly loud! But it was clean, bed was comfortable and we only dealt with this all for 1 night. Breakfast was nice. Probably will not be back to this location.

Everything was great per usual as we stay here yearly for the archery tournament

The room was very clean and the breakfast had a lot of variety. I will stay again.

Stayed here for Kentucky Derby... rooms were good. Our toilet didn't work the entire trip, at $600/night that was less than ideal. Had to tell front desk several times... never stayed working. Boiling lava hot hot tub, I mean, uncomfortably hot, we also told staff and they didn't fix. Really nice people here though....
