The check in process was easy and as check in closes at 10pm and our arrival was going to be close to that, the hotel called us on route to check our arrival time and advise us of the gate code and door entry code if we were to arrive after 10pm. The room and bathroom were clean well presented and had tea and coffee facilities, and the bed was very comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was equally well stocked and varied to cater for all dietary needs. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing overnight stay. Thank you to all the staff

Very friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. Location is close to Eurotunnel. Parking lots are good size and the parking area is secure with fencing and locked gates. Whilst there is no restaurant in the hotel the restaurant next door is good for dinner with various options and children menus too. Dogs are accepted in the hotel and the next door restaurant. Ideal for an overnight stay when taking Le Shuttle.

Good location for Shuttle (10 minutes) and nearby restaurants / shops within walking distance, as is a small park. Secure parking. No Aircon or even a fan in the room which made for a very uncomfortable night after 30C+ during the day. Have stayed before and will again when a bit cooler!

This is a dog friendly hotel with kind staff, outdoor areas that are pleasant and clean . If there was a hot breakfast it would score better. But in general we are happy and will book again soon

Useful location, does what it says on the tin. No frills, in need of tlc in places. Dog friendly in tge rooms, not in the lounge or breakfast area, which should be noted and isn't very useful. Slept well, breakfast was basic but good. Safe parking behind a gate which was important.

We found black hairs approximately 5cm to 8cm long on both bath towels - immediately visible when we entered bathroom first time. The female receptionists body language suggested was disbelieving but she agreed to replace towels. However, my wife did not feel comfortable sleeping in the hotel and we booked a room at the B&B Hotel chain nearby. When we explained this to the male receptionist he did offer an alternative room. However, both receptionists - possibly husband / wife managers, were not well groomed and we did not trust the cleanliness of the hotel at all.

A very inexpensive place to stay close to the Eurotunnel. The room was very very small. Do not plan to bring in a bunch of luggage inside. The bathroom was also tiny, but had good shower pressure and hot water. The WIFI was useless. The breakfast offerings were super basic and sparse. Parking was quiet easy and ample.

Called in advance to check us in and left keys in a safe Which was nice. We had issues with the WiFi and when I called for help the person on came to help was rude and screaming at to be quiet... Ironic. Rooms are tiiiiny. Fine for a quick overnight stay.

This is the third visit to the hotel and each time the management have been very friendly and helpful. They also speak English which is certainly a major plus in my eyes. The room are lovely and clean with plenty of towels and an hairdryer for your convenience. The bed is comfortable too. There is a kettle with coffee and tea for you to enjoy a refreshing drink after a long drive. The room is lovely and warm especially in winter when is was a cold wind outside. The hot towel rail in the bathroom certainly helps with the cosiness of the bathroom. Well done to the hotel management. I will certainly stay here again especially being very close to the Eurotunnel.

Awful stay as there was a buzzing noise all through the night and no staff available to report it. In the morning discovered the noise was coming from an electrical panel in the hall which was open for anyone to cause havoc if they wished. Knowing it was coming from the circuit breaker box I told the staff to call someone out, it was probably a simple circuit breaker replacement job. Turns out all the staff have known about the problem and have done nothing about it. Asked for a refund or reduction but got nothing. On top of this the room stunk, a kind of wet sweaty smell We definitely won't be staying here again

Very friendly and helpful owner. He accepted putting some of my food in his fridge overnight, then refunded me 1€ with £1 after realising I had paid the city tax twice. I would not have noticed and it was a tiny sum. So his honesty and integrity were very appreciated.

We were to arrive late at midnight- we phoned ahead to make arrangements for a late arrival and the information gave was spot on and repeated so that we understood. On arrival we accessed our room with no issues and paid the local taxes on check out. I’m very impressed with this hotel and shall be using again

The husband and wife team was so nice to have. They were very conscientious and kind. They spoke English as well and were able to help me find it. It WAS tricky as the GPS had trouble pinpointing the location and it is a busy road. They are pet friendly and were very pleasant to interact with.

The gentleman at the reception was hassling me on the phone to get there before 10pm, we got there at 9.45, and he dumped us quickly with very little info. He rushed and forced us to book a slot for the breakfast; there was only 8am left so we had to get up early, while on holiday. 🙁 We had one shower towel and one hand towel per room, and there was 4 of us.

Excellent one night stop. The room was small but clean adequate and warm, individual heating which could be adjusted. The double bed clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but everything worked well including the shower. The hotel is teamed with Le Bistro literally 2 minutes walk from reception for evening meals plus show your key for a discount. Overall great place to stay being 10 minute drive to Le Manche for the train.

A good overnight stopover, functional, clean with pleasant staff. We did not like being asked to book a time that we would take our breakfast, we felt this was an imposition.................not very hotel-like! We will visit this hotel again but we won't pre-book breakfast! There is a decent restaurant next door which seems to be open most days.

Great hotel with plenty of parking and locked gate at night. Room 003 was newly refurbished and very comfortable. Small fridge, kettle and pod coffee machine in room. Very spacious with 2 t.vs. Breakfast was fine and consists of bread, cold meats, cheese, yoghurt, tinned fruit salad and cereals. There was a few pastrys (they didnt look the best). Eggs you could boil yourself and tea and coffee machine. The main problem was everything was always empty and when they would replenish bread or meat ect only 5 or 6 pieces would be brought out and it would be taken immediately by otheres. Breakfast is not worth the priice they charge. Everything else in the hotel was great.

We always stay in sure best western in Calais , their breakfast food is very good , a good variety of foods , the couple who run the hotel are very considerate , they are helpful in a very kind way , we experienced this our our last stay there. We would definitely stay there again .
