AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

At hotelF1 Calais Coquelles, travellers describe very small, basic rooms—often without ensuite bathrooms—good value for a quick stop near the Eurotunnel or ferry, mixed cleanliness, and friendly staff offset by recurring after-hours access and check-in code issues.

I have stayed here before and it is what it is a cheap overnight stay on the way somewhere else. However, this time I did not get a bathroom or toilet in my room and had to use shared facilities. This may have been my fault not realising when I booked with Expedia. The sink in the room had a loose tap and no plug. I will be using another nearby hotel next time. I also have to add that the coffee machine in the lobby was disgusting, i tried to get a white coffee (and I speak fluent French so there was no language error) not only was it black but the granules did not dissolve and looked like tar. I’m glad I didn’t order breakfast either, when I left at 0720, the breakfast area was still shut up despite supposedly being open from 0630. I did as I planned, got on the road and had breakfast at Baie de Somme which I thoroughly recommend.

Clean and warm room. Easy check in and check out. The shared showers were dirty but this was due to what I can guess it’s disrespectful guests. Not the hotels fault!

Secure parking, close to the tunnel, room tiny but clean. Functional. No real amenities, the cafe is closed. For me the Jury’s out on whether I like the digital check in for everything and no reception as such. Instructions could be a bit better.
