Great location. General decor of the hotel is 'tired' but the room itself was large, well-appointed and comfortable. Didn't have dinner there. Parked outside the hotel in a public area, which was acceptable. Hotel car park too small for my vehicle.

Lovely hotel. There were three of us and we were upgraded to a junior suite. Unfortunately, the suite was on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes to the 4th floor. There were many stairs to get between the two floors. At 25 euros, we thought the breakfast was overpriced.

Lovely hotel. Suite was huge as was bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Relaxing bar offered a free welcome drink. The problem was that we booked parking for a car of unknown size as we were renting it the day before. They left it out on the street not in a parking spot which they said was ok as it was Sunday. They promised to park it the next day but it was still there Monday morning. They refused to park it as it had turned out that the car was bigger than they anticipated. They did not reach out to us to tell us they were not parking it. They would have let us get a ticket even though was in their possession and they had the keys. If you want to book parking, tell them it is a larger car when you book the room. Btw it was a bmw 350, not some giant truck. They offered nothing for our inconvenience and no apology for leaving the car on the street in what was obviously not a parking spot. We asked for our keys and took the car to a garage a 15 minute walk away (closest one). This left us with a bad feeling about the hotel which should not have happened.

Parking your vehicle to unload your luggage is terrible, no designated parking space for customers. Once your luggage is unloaded from your car you have to down a flight of stairs to the lobby. Elevator is only the size for 2 people and their bags. It's a old hotel and it's time to apply fresh bright paint or nice wallpaper in the hallways and replace the carpet. 4 star hotels are meant to be upgraded and beautiful. Location wasn't bad, as my wife and I walked downtown in only 15 mins.

Welcoming staff at check in and check out. Room was on the smaller side but still plenty of space for my husband and I and our bags. In-room breakfast was a nice touch. Location is excellent, just a quick stroll to the main sites. Parking is extra, but easily available. Not intuitive tho, as there are no signs. Just park outside and hand your keys at the check in counter. Overall it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed it very much.

Sehr ruhig und zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Alle Materialen sehr schwer und hochwertig. Doppelte Zimmertür zum Lärmschutz. Noch nie in einem so ruhigen Zimmer geschlafen. Einzig die Größe des Zimmers mit nur 18qm als Superior-Zimmer ist ein Nachteil. Leider gibt es kein Restaurant oder Zimmerservice und auch der Service an sich hat „normales“ aber kein „Luxus“ Niveau. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

This is NOT a four star hotel. For the price it was outrageous. It is not walkable to the train station - we had to Uber there. The hotel is not grand. Entrance is in the basement and the elevator only goes up 4 floors and we were on the the fifth floor in another building from the main hotel. They cobbled two buildings together and the elevator was in the original building. So we had to take bags up two flights - one to get to the 4th floor of the other building and one to get up to 5th floor. They did help us take the bags up. Artwork was wonderful but that doesn't make it a 4 star hotel. Son slept on the pull out couch whose mattress was so thin that he was uncomfortable all night. Our bed was fine. Bathroom was nice with the toilet in a separate room and it had two sinks in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and in the elegant dining room - too bad our room was nothing like this. Buffet was complete with meats, cheese, fruits etc. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location was good to the cathedral and walking around Strasbourg's attraction. No complaints with location. But this is not a 4 star hotel although it looks like it from the outside.

Auf der Straße in Zentrum kosten 4h Parken über 30 Euro!!!). Das Frühstück war exzellent, nur qualitativ hochwertige Speisen. Vielen Dank auch dem netten Monsieur am Samstagabend an der Rezeption für das Welcome Drink, Affilgem 0,5l von Fass. Das Hotel hat eine private Sauna, top chick, die man kostenlos für 1/2h reservieren kann.

The staff was super friendly and was able to answer all questions. Breakfast was good but a little overpriced doe the options they have. The room was clean for the most part except the carpet, it was gross. The walls are thin and when room service started cleaning at 9AM, it was so noisy through the connecting room door. Side street parking wasn’t an issue, I just downloaded the app and kept adding time to it. It was better than looking for garage with parking available during Christmas market time. The train station was a three minute walk away if you don’t drive. Overall my stay was good.

L’hôtel est excellent par l’équipe distinguée qui le compose. Le service était parfait, le petit déjeuner succulent et nos chambres étaient propres, lumineuses et confortables. The front desk staff were wonderful. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet. Oumaima took our luggage and suggested some reataurants and sights to see while we waited. When we returned a little later we were told we had been upgraded (apparently because it is a VIP access hotel). Our room was great, on the top floor in the corner overlooking the canal and St. Paul Church. The room was great and made our stay super enjoyable. The location is ideal, on the edge of old town and walking distance to Le Orangerie Park. There is a tram stop 2 minutes from the hotel, but we walked everywhere. Everyone we met in the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a desk, minibar, working A/C, two chairs, and an instant coffee bar We couldn't have been more pleased and will stay here again.

Unsere Junior Suite war im 5. Stock - den letzten Stock war nur über die Treppe erreichbar. Die Suite war geräumig und das Badezimmer mit den Toileteries formidabel. Die Lage ist sehr zentral gelegen und nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Altstadt gelegen. Das historische Gebäude integriert sich wunderbar zu den Nachbarhäusern. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war mit frischen, lokalen Produkten gut bestückt.

This is NOT a four star hotel. For the price it was outrageous. It is not walkable to the train station - we had to Uber there. The hotel is not grand. Entrance is in the basement and the elevator only goes up 4 floors and we were on the the fifth floor in another building from the main hotel. They cobbled two buildings together and the elevator was in the original building. So we had to take bags up two flights - one to get to the 4th floor of the other building and one to get up to 5th floor. They did help us take the bags up. Artwork was wonderful but that doesn't make it a 4 star hotel. Son slept on the pull out couch whose mattress was so thin that he was uncomfortable all night. Our bed was fine. Bathroom was nice with the toilet in a separate room and it had two sinks in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and in the elegant dining room - too bad our room was nothing like this. Buffet was complete with meats, cheese, fruits etc. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location was good to the cathedral and walking around Strasbourg's attraction. No complaints with location. But this is not a 4 star hotel although it looks like it from the outside.

The front desk staff were wonderful. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet. Oumaima took our luggage and suggested some reataurants and sights to see while we waited. When we returned a little later we were told we had been upgraded (apparently because it is a VIP access hotel). Our room was great, on the top floor in the corner overlooking the canal and St. Paul Church. The room was great and made our stay super enjoyable. The location is ideal, on the edge of old town and walking distance to Le Orangerie Park. There is a tram stop 2 minutes from the hotel, but we walked everywhere. Everyone we met in the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a desk, minibar, working A/C, two chairs, and an instant coffee bar We couldn't have been more pleased and will stay here again.

Welcoming staff at check in and check out. Room was on the smaller side but still plenty of space for my husband and I and our bags. In-room breakfast was a nice touch. Location is excellent, just a quick stroll to the main sites. Parking is extra, but easily available. Not intuitive tho, as there are no signs. Just park outside and hand your keys at the check in counter. Overall it was a lovely stay and we enjoyed it very much.

Positives: The building is beautiful and maintained to a very high standard. My room was spacious and comfortable, and it had all the expected amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is excellently located for the National & University Library and only ten minutes' walk from the Cathedral, which makes it very convenient for the city centre as well. Buses to the train station and other parts of town run frequently. Altogether it is a very pleasant place to be and the price is good for what it offers. Negatives: Although I had specifically booked a double room, I was given a twin. Since I was travelling on my own, this meant that I had to sleep in a single bed in spite of paying for a double. I had to speak to three members of staff over two days to persuade them that it wasn't right. Upon check-in, the person at the front desk led me to believe that breakfast was included; then upon check-out I was billed about 50€ extra because it was not (the booking confirmation email did not specify either way). Overall: still very good - the hotel is very nice indeed - but some members of staff could have been a touch more careful.

Lovely hotel. There were three of us and we were upgraded to a junior suite. Unfortunately, the suite was on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes to the 4th floor. There were many stairs to get between the two floors. At 25 euros, we thought the breakfast was overpriced.

The room was clean for the most part except the carpet, it was gross. The walls are thin and when room service started cleaning at 9AM, it was so noisy through the connecting room door. Side street parking wasn’t an issue, I just downloaded the app and kept adding time to it. It was better than looking for garage with parking available during Christmas market time. The train station was a three minute walk away if you don’t drive. Overall my stay was good.
