Ideal location next to the cathedral. It's in the pedestrian zone, so it was recommended to park in the Austerlitz parking garage at €22/day. Staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't take breakfast there (€17/person), there are other places to get petit dejeuner nearby. I don't think the hotel would be very accessible for wheelchairs, and of course the cobblestones throughout town would be a challenge. For us, we loved Straßburg and Hotel Rohan!

I really liked this hotel. The elevator was out of service for a bit today and a sign would have been nice. Stairs are very hard for me. Was delighted with the lovely scrambled eggs on Monday but tues and Wed they were awful. Little things. Tv switches on Every Single Time you put your key in the electric slot. Even when you’ve turned it off. Shower was very hard to figure out. Had to have someone come to my room to show me. It’s awkwardly designed. Repair work involving power tools above my room my second day. No warning. For hours and hours. They offered to move me to another room but did not want to repack. They should have moved me away from it when I checked in. It was a planned repair. Front desk people very nice.

This place is perfectly located in the square with the town cathedral. It is not noisy. Very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops right in the immediate area. People play music during the day and evening in the square and it is beautiful. Very nice breakfast. Nice service. Elevator is key. Room was small, but bathroom was not! Almost as big as my single person room, but it was ok. Bed was comfortable, warm (I was in winter). Pet friendly - offered a bed and dog bowls when we arrived. Lobby is nice area to work, regroup, or relax in evening in the restaurant table area. Would come back to Strasbourg and would stay at Hotel Rohan when I do. Be aware that Ubers do not come to the hotel for some strange reason, even though it is permitted to drive. They will stop on the main road behind it. I missed two ubers and a train because of it. But not the fault of the hotel! Just be aware.

Hotel Rohan exceeded my expectations. Amazingly well situated, very professional reception staff, comfortable room, great food (breakfast), I would definitively recommend this place. The only big downside is that its almost impossible to reach the hotel by car. Taxi have access (which we used) but that's it.

Meget centralt beliggenhed. Pænt hotel, som dog er lidt svært at komme til hvis man er i bil. Dejlig morgenbuffet. Hotellet ligger i et område pmgivet af gågader, og lige overfor katedralen. Mange restauranter i området.

Un très bon hôtel confortable et à la décoration moderne, au pied de la cathédrale. Malgré le tourisme, ma chambre donnant sur l'arrière du bâtiment était calme. Bar et possibilité de dîner à l'intérieur ou extérieur (repas libanais). Toutes sortes de restaurants alsaciens alentours. Le bémol : se situe dans la zone piétonnière, donc pas possible de se garer. Il faut demander aux taxis d'aller jusqu'à l'entrée ou de déposer à l'arrière du bâtiment

The staff at the reception was excellent! Extremely helpful! However, the toilet is filthy! I was rather shocked! The toilet bowl was black. Things were floating! My son even refused to use it. The sink is stained yellow. Found a hair in the shower! I did informed the reception. Yet, the cleanliness of the bathroom did not improve. As if the Housekeeping has never heard of bleach! The cupboards smelled like wet dogs! I am very sorry about the complaint. For a fantastic hotel with such excellent staff who was always willing to assist in any query I had, I feel quite horrid to write negatively. The location couldn't be better. The breakfast was fabulous! They really need to housekeeping in order! Will I come back tj the hotel again. I am not sure.

hotel davanti la cattedrale.. per questo comodissimo! Ma la stanza piccola e molto buia!!! Scarsa pulizia!!!! Le luci del bagno fulminate. Il dispenser del sapone all’arrivo non era riempito nemmeno a metà.. La bottiglia d’acqua in dotazione in camera, il giorno seguente non era stata sostituita… lasciata a metà.. Le bustine del te da noi utilizzate, non riposizionate il giorno seguente! Inaccettabile in un Hotel a 4 stelle

Nous avons séjourné dans la suite au dernier étage, grande, splendide et avec une vue à couper le souffle ⭐️ Seul bémol il a fallu faire revenir le personnel de Menage car notre chambre n’était pas d’une propreté suffisant (cheveux dans la salle de bain et sur le lit) à notre arrivée.

Perfect location, the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg is nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Great service, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable, spacious, quiet, and clean. I would happily stay here again.

Sehr zentrale Lage und direkt in der Nähe vom Münster und ca. 20 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend, aber auch nicht überragend. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer/Badezimmer waren nicht zufriedenstellend für die Hotelkategorie. Bei Zimmern zur Fußgängerzone hin könnte es aufgrund der schlechteren Verglasung der Fenster in der Hauptsaison sehr laut werden. Im Januar waren die Passanten vor dem Hotel bereits gut zu hören. Außerdem kühlten die Zimmer aufgrund der schlechten Fensterisolierung schnell aus. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt war das Hotel für einen Kurztrip nach Straßburg eine gute Wahl.

I really liked this hotel. It was right in the middle of the old town, next to the cathedral. Stepping into reception was lovely, as it was so tranquil after the busy street outside. The interiors are very chic. Our room was comfortable and a decent size. We faced onto the square behind the hotel and it was very quiet. The only noise was the church bells in the morning, but with the windows closed you couldn't hear them. Our only issue was that the air conditioner could only run for 80 minutes at a time. We managed to change the setting which was a big help. I would have liked the air conditioning to have been a bit more powerful as the room was quite warm, but it had been very warm outside and I don't like heat so this might not have bothered others.

Kleines, ruhiges, aber super zentrales Hotel. Wir hatten ein Comfort Doppelzimmer, das geräumig war und über Air Condition verfügte, was im Sommer eine Wohltat war. Gutes Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal rundeten den Aufenthalt ab. Ideales Stdthotel!

Location is extremely convenient for sightseeing. We came during the busy Christmas season and the bar was sold out of almost everything so not many options to choose from. The room was small but that is typical for Europe. Power in the room was a bit of an issue charging our devices. The hotel staff was really nice and always friendly!

Hotel is steps from the action but a bit noisy at night because of its location. WiFi is horrible and virtually non existent. Staff were lovely, room was fairly large with comfy bed and lots of storage. Bathroom was big but the tub/shower had partial glass wall curtain thing that lets some water out so it wasn’t a relaxing shower. Only one English tv channel. Breakfast Buffett was decent. Loved the croissants but the scrambled eggs and bacon were almost raw. Would have liked more fresh fruit.

Great location next to the cathedral. We had a room (505) on the top floor. The air conditioning unit made a noise like water drops hitting an empty bucket that never stopped. We had to leave the AC on at night because the noise was maddening. At least the AC worked well! Nice beverage station in the common area

First I'll start with location which is the best feature. Its superb, literally steps away from the cathedral. This is a small boutique hotel in excellent location. I was swayed by a very low price and the fact that I've stayed there several years ago (at which time I was happy with the hotel). Breakfast was very good, with many options. The lobby has been renovated recently and is decent. The rooms however, need a major renovation. They're tired and bordering on a 3* property. The photos on the website and extremely enhanced and do not resemble the actual rooms. Bedding was adequate, but the pillows were lumpy and cheap. First I'll start with location which is the best feature. Its superb, literally steps away from the cathedral. This is a small boutique hotel in excellent location. I was swayed by a very low price and the fact that I've stayed there several years ago (at which time I was happy with the hotel). Breakfast was very good, with many options. The lobby has been renovated recently and is decent. The rooms however, need a major renovation. They're tired and bordering on a 3* property. The photos on the website and extremely enhanced and do not resemble the actual rooms. Bedding was adequate, but the pillows were lumpy and cheap. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the rooms and would not stay here again.

We were immediately greeted upon entry. The desk clerk was lovely, very helpful with directions around the city. She explained the hotel’s amenities. The room was comfy. The hotel itself smelled wonderful and I ended up purchasing one of their signature room sprays. It is absolutely worth your while to purchase the breakfast-it was fresh and very delicious with a ton of options. We only stayed one night and would absolutely stay again. It was very close to the Notre Dame and tourism office where many tours originate in the mornings.

We went to Strasbourg at the height of the Christmas Market season. The Hotel Rohan could not have been more in the center of it. This proved to be both convenient and frustrating. Convenient because you walk out the door to a wonderful winter wonderland of food, gift and drink stalls. Frustrating because it’s sooooo busy, sometimes you have a literal struggle walking down the narrow street to the hotel. As far as the hotel itself, if you’re used to the size of a big city European hotel, you’ll be pleasantly surprised about the size of the rooms. They’re clean and shockingly quiet for a busy location. The check in desk doubles as the bar, so sometimes services in the lobby is slow. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

Was very dissatisfied with this hotel. There was one lady at the counter that was fantastic and went out of her way to be fantastic! But unfortunately the bathroom in our room was very dirty! The toilet was not even close to being acceptably clean. The other lady at the front at night gave us some recommendations for a place to have a drink, but the next day we were grabbing coffee at the coffee bar, which we were told was complimentary for guests, and she asked us if we were staying there and to see our room keys. Which blew my mind because we literally had just spoken with her a few times the night before. Just overall was disappointed in the stay here.

Ideal location next to the cathedral. It's in the pedestrian zone, so it was recommended to park in the Austerlitz parking garage at €22/day. Staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't take breakfast there (€17/person), there are other places to get petit dejeuner nearby. I don't think the hotel would be very accessible for wheelchairs, and of course the cobblestones throughout town would be a challenge. For us, we loved Straßburg and Hotel Rohan!

Hotel Rohan exceeded my expectations. Amazingly well situated, very professional reception staff, comfortable room, great food (breakfast), I would definitively recommend this place. The only big downside is that its almost impossible to reach the hotel by car. Taxi have access (which we used) but that's it.

Hotel is steps from the action but a bit noisy at night because of its location. WiFi is horrible and virtually non existent. Staff were lovely, room was fairly large with comfy bed and lots of storage. Bathroom was big but the tub/shower had partial glass wall curtain thing that lets some water out so it wasn’t a relaxing shower. Only one English tv channel. Breakfast Buffett was decent. Loved the croissants but the scrambled eggs and bacon were almost raw. Would have liked more fresh fruit.
