Global Luxury Suites at Town Center

This was a nightmare. To begin with, the check-in email was not clear and was missed because it came from a random name/address. Then there were no instructions on where to park. But the real fun began at 4:05p when I tried to check-in. They had the envelope with my information but there were no keys in it. They took forever looking for it. At 4:43p, after several "updates", they said there was a phone number I could call, but as I had an important meeting at 4:45p, that I was supposed to be in the room for, I left the lobby and made my Zoom call from the courtyard. That was great. When that was done at 5:15p, I went back in and they had found the keys, but SURPRISE! they didn't work. It took another hour for them to "fix the glitch" at which point I finally got in the room (and during the hour wait I was locked on the 5th floor which has no bathroom). The mattress was horrible, and when I was sitting at the comically small desk and leaned back in the desk chair to stretch, its back collapsed and almost slammed my head into the TV stand. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

After having a less than ideal stay at a different Global Luxury/Churchill location, I read the reviews for this building and decided to give them an opportunity to leave a better impression. One of the existing reviews shares of a broken bed, I may’ve gotten the same unit they stayed in, as my bed was broken as well (the bed frame, specifically). The bed sank into the middle of the broken frame. Advertised parking for (temporary) guests in this building is a three minute drive/ten minute walk away from the building, but onsite parking is just about the same price. The description says parking is $165 which isn’t the case. The drain is very slow in the tub and the water collects while the shower is going. The washer needs to be cleaned/sanitized as there’s a faint mildew smell in the drum. As a suggestion, temporary-stay units should consider disposal toilet brushes instead of having the used (dirty) toilet brush on display.
