2 nachten verbleven met gezin van 4 (kids 10 en 12 Jaar). Het hotel ligt heel dicht bij het meer van Neuchatel en op wandelafstand van het oude centrum. Parking is 5eur per dag met een kaart. De kamer was ietwat aan de warme kant. De ventilator die er stond hielp wel iets, maar was het lawaai eigenlijk niet waard. Het ontbijt was de eerste dag goed en volledig; De 2de dag waren de croissants op waarna men naar de bakker aan de overkant slechts een 5-tal nieuwe ging halen. Omdat er al meerdere mensen op stonden te wachten, waren die onmiddellijk terug op. Ook mankeerde het koffie-apparaat een paar keer, waardoor het ontbijt wat gebrekkig verliep aan onze tafel. De bediening bleef er wel kalm in.

Nice hotel, extremely well located downtown Neuchâtel, with easy parking and minutes away from the funicular and train station. I have never seen hotel staff this dedicated to their guest's comfort. Amazing team who went the extra mile on everything that made us feel so welcomed. Will definitely go back.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in Neuenburg. Besonders positiv war der freundliche Empfang und die Lage des Hotels. Das Hotel an sich ist sicher schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es wird aber gepflegt und ist sehr sauber. Wir hatten eine Suite für 4 Personen gebucht, es war genügend Platz für uns Eltern und die beiden Teenager. Preis/Leistung war für ein Hotel in der Schweiz sehr gut.

The room is clean, nice view from my balcony and the staffs were really friendly and helpful! Location is good too, short 10mins walk to city centre and walkable to places of interest. Love the beer at the bar next to the hotel. Strongly recommended!

Hotel des Arts was a positive surprise as the pictures of the hotel at time of the reservation were not that attractive. Service at reception was friendly and helpful, recently renovated rooms were spacious and in excellent condition, including also the bathroom. The only small minus comes from bed comfort which leaves room for improvement. Continental breakfast was typical and quite OK.

I loved my stay here. From first stepping through the front door, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lovely light filled room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was wonderful and spacious. The hotel is perfectly located just near the funicular down the hill from the station. Making it very easy to access. It is near the boat harbour for ferries, the museum and a quick and easy walk to the old town. I regret that I only had one night here. I would definitely recommend it.

Wir wurden in ein kleines Dachzimmer im obersten Stockwerk (6. Stock) untergebracht. Die Duschtüre war defekt. Das Zimmer war für zwei Personen schon klein und wegen der Dachschräge war sie noch kleiner. Die Klimaanlage war so laut, dass wir nicht schlafen konnten. Wir haben nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt, jedoch teilte man uns mit, dass das Hotel ausgebucht sei. Der Preis ist viel zu teuer für dieses kleine Dachzimmer. Bei der Buchung hätte man mitteilen sollen, dass sie nur noch ein Dachzimmer zur Verfügung hätten. Dann wären wir woanders hingegangen. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und können dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

No air conditioner or proper soundproofing. We heard everything from the hall to the room and our room was next to the breakfast so it was noisy when people were going back and forth. During the summer room is hot. And there is no fridge in the room so it’s also a small minus. Breakfast was simple but still okay, Swiss cheese and quality apple juice etc.

We were assigned to room 204 even though the hotel was not full. Directly below our room is a bar that plays music until midnight. The hotel is great - just make sure you ask for a room on the fifth floor opposite side of the bar!

L’hôtel est simple mais très confortable. Le buffet de petit-déjeuner est très bien. L’hôtel serait très bien situé (très proche du lac et pas trop éloigné de l’hyper-centre… mais situé juste au-dessus d’un bar, un groupe de jeune a été très bruyant jusqu’à une heure avancée de la nuit. Il faut donc éviter les chambres donnant sur la rue. À part ça, l’hôtel est très bien.
