Didn’t really like anything although we did get a good sleep. Check-in was dire, check-out not much better. No internet connection due to a fault that BT was sorting, breakfast unaffordable and leisure centre with lots of machines needing repair. All in all, just nothing much positive.

Room smelled and seemed to be mould on the window frame. Staff shut the bar early in front of me at 10:50pm rather than 11pm as shown on front desk. Was exhausted so went to sleep and to be fair slept well - used the pool next morning which was excellent. Not great / not worst I ve experienced but work needed to bring up to scratch on all fronts.

Food was ok cleaning needs improvement Last stay here two years ago was better. Beds very uncomfortable with springs bumpy. Car parking on site good. Staff friendly and helped. Hotel is getting well worn. Breakfast was cold and had an upset tummy later I day from sausage and bacon. Didn’t take breakfast second day because of it. Location is good for M8 and city centre. The staff are best thing about hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was clean, but it did look a little worn and during my time at the hotel, the temperatures were high and the room had no air conditioning. It was uncomfortable to sleep.

Hotel was fabulous and we had a great stay. Only a couple of boggles - the bins hadn’t been emptied in 2 of the rooms and the pool area was taken over by a large group of boys and men. Unfortunately the adults didn’t control the behaviour of the boys which spoiled the peace for everyone. On the whole the stay was great and the staff were excellent.

I was in room 221 which all night was kept awake by the lift going up and down hardly slept a wink the bed was not comfy pillows very noisy and uncomfortable think doublet and room was cold heating kept cutting out poor stay not happy for £186 not with a pent of that

hi it might concern the first night we were in room 329 mattress was very noisy like the springs were broken very uncomfortable night. Very disappointed with the Hilton Service provided second night was moved to room 318 the bed was two piece's mattress zipped together very uncomfortable night very disappointed with the high-class name of hilton Doubletree third night moved again to room 218. The mattress was a little bit better, but there was a odor in the room also the door which was hooked closed, opens automatically like there’s a ghost in the room. Very disappointed with Oda and experience at the Hilton Doubletree Glasgow. very disappointed with this experience had to leave the hotel one day before because of all the problems you have spilt my experience in Glasgow you have cost me money, pay and bad experience due to your inconsiderate hotel.

Freezing cold rooms, do not stay here if you expect a comfortable temperature. Inadequate heating in the rooms. Only 1 tiny electric heater, not enough capacity to heat such a big room. Not heating in bathroom. I asked to be moved, still exactly the same. They charged me best part of £200 to be freezing cold. Trying to save money by not heating the rooms, you don’t expect this from Hilton. I woke in the night with a nasty chill. Did not sleep after that.

I stay here quiet often with work. It does what it says on the tin. Breakfast isnt cheap but its nice. Gym facilities great. Clean and tidy No power sockets next to the bed which is very frustrating and why its not a 5star. Especially when there is power clearly near the bed.

Checked in around 7pm. During check in staff walked off to discuss staffing issues with other staff members and left us waiting. We asked we dining and advised re times. Didn’t advise to book. Tried to visit restaurant told no space ( clearly was ) and had large tables coming in. We ordered a take out. Whilst waiting in reception for this no further guests entered the dining room (50 mins). I approached reception to suggest they encourage people to book in advance if hotel is busy ( Premier inn had emailed us the week before to do this !) Staff member cut me off part way through and said. I have been advising people book on check in. Booked a suite sofa bed very poor quality. Stayed last year and it’s not half as good as it was before. Tables not laid out for hot food at breakfast and slow service at lunch. Very poor overall.

I arrived at 6.30pm after a 300 mile drive to be informed that my pre-booked room was no longer available. I stay in hotels a lot and have never known this to happens before, a point I made to the reception staff who informed me its quite normal and happens often. ! The reception staff then spent half an hour on the phone to nearby hotels trying to fine a room for me which they eventually did, so back in the car for a drive to a hotel a few miles away. I’m a Hilton Honours member and this incident has put me off staying at their hotels again unfortunately.

Reception extremely slow, took 15 mins to check-in even though there was only 1 person in queue. Room was a bit run down compared to the last time we stayed. Dust on lamps and paint scruffy. The restaurant was good service however, food not worth the money and bland.

the heating wasn't working, for the hotel like Hilton should do much better, heating system should be checked properly, the staff gave us the wrong room key, had to come back downstairs, not good experience

A very fine hotel with excellent staff. We specifically want to give shout outs to Sandra, the Graduate Manager who checked us in and made us feel most welcome, the housekeeping team who acted with pit crew like speed and precision when they changed our bedding 10 mins before the end of their shift after we forgot to request no feather pillows/duvets due to allergies, and Annie & Helen in the F&B team who were just amazing throughout our stay. Would return.

Overall great stay when we pointed out that they had not left coffee and milk in the room it was sorted and given drinks in the bar which was great we also asked that shower gel be topped up needless to say this was not done but Ann the duty manager took it up and was really apologetic and gave us breakfast where Ann Marie was just like Ann really apologetic these two ladies really impressed me and the wife that we will be back again

The location worked for us as we had a hire car, convenient location for Glasgow and Edinburgh. The hotel was clean and tidy, great front desk service, all staff were willing to assist, rooms were immaculately clean, good bathrooms with baths and the leisure centre was the highlight of the trip

Maybe its just me but I found it ok/average. Breakfast is extortionate so didn't bother. Bar ran out of 5 draught lagers/cider. Spa facilities are fantastic, staff there are great. Reception staff checking out answer the (silently) ringing phone in middle of checking me out not so great. Hotel is a bit dated decor wise in rooms and corridors. It's a ok hotel and we only chose it for the pool (we're getting refurb done on our house and just needed a few nights away) but I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

Issue with drinks & food, first 2 options of drink N/A, wife soft drink had to be changed as flat, and then she was told no new potatoes available on a very limited menu. The service offered by our waitress Christina was excellent.

Overnight stay to attend a concert can’t praise them highly enough, staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was clean spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was tremendous although maybe a little expensive for a breakfast. Overall have no complaints though
