The Castle Inn

Super nice staff

Castle Combe is a town out of a movie scene. It’s a must see. This hotel is a small operation but our room was huge with the largest bed ever in a hotel and a very comfortable bathroom as well (Room 12). We loved staying here so much we wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was amazing and quickly prepared.

Although I upgraded to a Superior room, I would night want to stay there for more than two nights as there was hardly any draw space for one person let alone two. The staff where very helpful throughout the stay and during dinner service but while having pre-dinner drinks the waitress drop the tray of drinks on me which left me soaked (lucky enough only my jeans) and apart from an apology there was no offer of a compensatory drink.

Charming place, great staff. Age of the facility, no elevators can make it difficult to access with large luggage, especially for older travelers.

Good location and very clean. Staff are very nice too. We do love the breakfast!
