We love the riverside. The only disappointment was they did not have a coffee station in the lobby and water not being offered. I expect based on price certain amenities. I think it’s important to note I was directed to go to donut shop for coffee. Riverside has a bakery right off of property and I was surprised that it was. It recommended instead.

So nice ! If you want to stay close to the Las Olas Blvd this is perfect! The hotel has everything you need ! The pool the restaurants ,water taxi next to it -very convenient location! Clean and pleasant! Would come back :)

Lots of options to eat close to the hotel. Only real issue is how small the elevators are. Makes it difficult for more than two prople with luggage to fit. Otherwise nice!

Great location next to the Riverwalk and lots going on at night. The biggest downside is that while there are restaurants at the hotel there is no room service. The only other downside was the shower in our room. The bathroom is real small and the tub/shower base (floor) is slopped inward for water drainage. Extremely awkward/hard to stand on.

nice property, but noisy from building work going on, car park charges seem expensive on top of the price of the stay, rooms were nice and comfortable, but we werent even given complimentary water on arrival, typical hotel everything is chargeable, did enjoy the staff around the bar at the Riverside shout out to Gabriel who was excellent. Pool temperature needs looking at, far too warm

Was not happy during my stay. I arrived at 9pm June 12th. I gave the man at the front desk my name and he said “and??” He didn’t say hello or great me in any manner. Just replied “and?” I proceeded to tell him I was checking in. His response was “how was I supposed to know what you need?” For an older man he was rude and definitely not an asset to this hotel The room was clean, linens are clean. Bed was hard, as were the pillows. The gym had 1 treadmill out of the 3 that were present. Most of the equipment was dirty and not in working order. Pool was great. Big and clean. Great location but won’t be staying at a place again because of that one rude employee. The rest of the staff were very pleasant

First impressions were amazing, room was nice and had fantastic view of the river. However the room wasn’t that clean, lots of dust on most surfaces, and multiple hairs in the bathroom. The shower was barely warm at best for all three mornings and evenings, almost cold at times. The worst experience was when the fire alarm went off one morning, it started, then stopped, then it went off again, this happened on a few occasions, we asked house keepers if it was a test, they just replied “it’s usually a false alarm”, a muffled voice came across the speaker system, we think it stated the fire service had been called, so with this we decided to air on the safe side and went down the exit staircase, however it only went down two flights onto a terrace, and then we were faced with locked doors, 3 of them from memory, this was a complete shambles, thankfully it turned out to be a false alarm. The property was nice, the staff were friendly, (special mention to William in the bar), and the location was great, it just let itself down. Had it not been for the fire escape element, I would have stayed there again, but this was too much of a serious fail.

Maid assigned to our room of 3 nights didn’t once clean table tops of condensation water rings. Both in the sitting area inside and out. The bathroom floor was not washed around the toilet before our arrival. There was dried urine spray / drips in front of the toilet that were never cleaned during our stay. We put towels down on the floor so we didn’t have to wear shoes in the night. Hallway on the 9th floor had bits of garbage on the carpet that was never vacuumed. Having said all that, the location is great. Our view was of the city and from our balcony you could see the ocean as well as the cruise port. Plus, a little bit of the New River. There are many great shopping choices and even more restaurants to pick from.

Weird dark rooms with the most dim lighting I have ever seen. Haven't seen a renovation in a long time--tiny TV wobbling on the desk. Cockroaches in the hallway--what's not to like for 300 dollars a night?

The valet took our bags and said he would be with us all the way to the room. Hee was not. Someone else delivered our bags. When we were at the check in we were being pressured to upgrade our room. We didn’t. The room was small for 3 adults but we stayed because we were exhausted from traveling. We found things on the floor that didn’t belong to us. The floor was gritty. Paint was pealing from the ceiling, there was soap scum in the tub. The next day we inquired at the front desk and produced the original reservation. We were originally put in an inferior room. We got moved to the bigger room that we booked and upgraded with a balcony. On the last night of our stay the refrigerator started leaking water and it was from nothing inside. We were given the valet parking and $50 credit for our inconvenience. This is certainly not the experience we had expected from the Riverside Hotel.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but our experience at the Riverside Hotel was so frustrating that I feel compelled to warn others. First off, the rooms have absolutely no sound barrier. You can hear everything happening in the rooms around you – conversations, TVs, music – it feels like your neighbors are in your room. There’s zero privacy or peace and quiet. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable – stiff, noisy, and poorly maintained. We barely got any rest the entire stay. To make matters worse, the room next to us had over EIGHT people crammed in with blow-up mattresses and no regard for hotel policies or other guests. We had to call security multiple times due to the noise and chaos coming from that room, but the hotel staff did nothing to resolve the issue. It’s clear that management does not enforce basic guest conduct, which completely ruins the stay for everyone else. If you’re looking for a relaxing, restful stay – look elsewhere. This place was a disaster.

Great location room was less than desirable. As we walked in the windows were tinted so you could not see out the window and unless you stepped on your toes, the top you could see out of. The bathroom was tiny. But the great location made up for the lack of amenities in the room.

Great location and overall nice setup with dining facilities on site and all around the neighborhood. Some public areas border on being dated but are well kept. The micro room was generally nice but lacked any place to hang up even a single item and half the electrical plugs didn’t work, while the internet was so slow we had to use cellular data much of the time. Still, overall okay considering the price point for the area.

Stayed for 3 nights. 1st night on 1st floor. Very old and needs some tlc. Fittings on plumbing rusted, multiple layers of paint on fixtures. Drapes hanging off tracks. Next 2 nights moved to 10th floor. Much cleaner and modern. Great view!!

We had very much enjoyed our stay here in the past. This time, we were not greeted at the door and no one offered to help with the luggage. We were given keys that didn’t work and then had to return to the front desk, wait in line a long time, and were only helped with the new keys after a security person who had confirmed that the first set didnt’ work intervened on our behalf. The guy who sets up the shuttle to the port was very discouraging, telling us how it was going to be very expensive. All in all, this stay was a let down after an lovely stay in January

The service was great. We had issues with our room keys not working on our room lock. It took several tries and many trips to the front desk but still couldn’t get our room key to work. The night security guard Dwight worked on the issue but could not get the lock to work. He was great and went out of his way to help. We were finally booked into another room and everything worked perfectly. We were also given a voucher for $40 dollars for our troubles.

Perfect spot for pre cruise stay. Brilliant location on Las Olas Blvd right next to Cheesecake Factory and numerous other bars, restaurants and shops. Really happy with room facilities and great view from balcony. Ate at Wild Sea Las Olas food and service excellent. Great onsite pub Golden Lyon with brilliant happy hour.

Great location in the heart of the walking area and New River for boat tours, great staff, several bars and a nice pub, and the Boathouse is excellent! The room is very comfortable. The AC/inverter is a bit clumsy to set but just takes patience. The faucet handles on the bathroom sink were loose and we took care in using them. But otherwise the room was great. The pool is beautiful with food and bar service at the Boathouse. Enjoyed our 3-day post-cruise stay!

The location was excellent! Boathouse had adequate service. I did get sick from the broth in the mussels (my husband as well, we narrowed it down to what we had in common to get the food poisoning) The staff was friendly and attentive. Beds were hard more chairs at pool. You can’t beat the location was great close to many things.

It was a lovely hotel. We only stayed for one night before a cruise but we really enjoyed our stay. The surrounding area was great for walking along the riverside and there was also lots of shopping on the other side of the hotel. I recommend eating breakfast at the hotel as well. It was delicious and the service was great.

100/10!!!! Absolutely amazing stay, property and staff. I was skeptical b/c of the price but it definitely gives resort vibes. The staff was amazing and helpful. THE LOCATION!!! OMG! Steps to Las Olas and the riverside surrounded by shops, restaurants, beautiful boats and right near downtown. I can't say enough great things about this place. We will absolutely be back. Just a warning...don't go in the dead of summer when the heat index is 105 lol. Other than that simply AMAZING.

They were doing some maintenance on elevators and one restaurant was closed but the room was lovely and staff super helpful. There are some great restaurants nearby and walking along the riverwalk was wonderful.
