In order to get to the fourth floor, you had to take an elevator to the third floor get off, then go down along ways to get to the next elevator to go up to the fourth floor. The two ladies at the check-in desk were very slow. The entire hotel was in a lot of disrepair and needs a lot of attention. No restaurant or bar open on the property. That could’ve been said online.

You definitely are paying for location. Outlets didn’t have cover plates, walls super thin, the bar that they advertised was shut down, but you’re close to the ocean lol so not that bad

The parking is the most wonkiest ever! It's behind the property and very cramped. They sometimes have a staff member helping with parking out there. Very good location once you figure out where to check in park and get to your room which is kind of an ordeal to stay is good a bit confusing where to find the elevator and can get turned around easy. No free breakfast. I wasn't told about anything around me like the people in front of me were thank God for Yelp

Great location! Loved the on-site parking. You can tell that this hotel used to be something really cool. If they could get the bar and restaurant back open, it would be a much better place! There are some really cool elements to it, I do love an old place and definitely understand how difficult old places can be to care for. This one has a lot of character. The room was in rough shape, but the bed was comfortable, the table and chairs, bedding, all of that it's clean. The pool area was pretty nice. And you can't beat crossing the street for the beach. A great place to stay for a night or so.

Great place if you want to be near the beach. Just steps from the beach. Place need to be updated but for a night near the beach price was right and guest service was excellent. Will be back for sure.

Overall it was average at best. The restaurant and bar are closed which was disappointing even those this is what is advertised. The hotel also is not fully renovated as advertised and was more of a motel feel. Parking was easy and the location is great.

Great front desk service. Building old & outdated. Bathroom tub, garbage can dirty . Faucets old & rusted. The bar isn’t opened. It’s been closed for a while so not updated info on hotels.com by management. Patio doors locked& patio itself was weathered. The wifi connection was terrible.

TERRIBLE! hair all over the place, not cleaned. Kept moving us to a new room becuase we told them it was not clean. I cant believe this place operates. It needa to be closed down. We ended up movong to a new hotel becuase it was just that disgusting.

Staff was fine. The hotel is really run down and dingy. Hallways smelled of marijuana, door knob to my room was barely attached, the room was dark and reeked of plug in air freshener. The vent in the bathroom was filled with years of lint. The walls are paper thin and the floor above me creaked incessantly with noisy restless guests all night. I woke to find a German cockroach casually crawling on my night shirt. I immediately packed up and checked out. Had to inspect my suitcase in case I took and creatures home! Won’t be back!

This place was dirty, sheets was was not white they was yellowish , room smell like mold and mildew. I paid for two night but the left early because it was that bad I could sleep there for two night didn’t want to stay the first night but I checked in 3am When I woke up 8am I was itching and had a bug bit. I checked out Immediately and still waiting for my refund!!!!!!!!!!

Awful place. Right across from the beach you would think place would be old but clean. Nope. It’s old and gross and dirty. My goodness. This place is in desperate need of a coat of paint at the very least. Walls, bedsheets, mirrors, and lampshades were all stained. Ugh. There were holes in the walls, the carpet looks like it’s never been cleaned EVER. Bathroom pipes had rust running down the walls. Mold on the bathroom ceilings and shower curtains. Time to tear this place down and start over again. The pool looked nice. When I complain to the front desk about what the issues were in my room, they seemed completely unfazed by it like they’ve heard this hundreds of times before

I booked 6 nights .In those 6 nights my room was not cleaned once.I was in room 522. The sheets on the bed are not white there dingy. There was roaches crawling on my shower curtain. I was told by the housekeeper the morning of the 22nd if i wanted my room cleaned i would need to call the front desk that it would be extra.The patio door is broken and does not lock. The front desk and housekeeper that worked the 5th floor sucks!!! They have a no care attitude. The ceilings pieces are dropping on the bed and carpet. I have pictures and would love to upload them😡😡😡

The staff were very friendly, but the facility was not at all what it was advertised to be. The restaurant and gift shop are both closed, so I had to walk a mile to find something to eat. The entire place was dirty and there were bugs in the bathroom. I was unable to find other accommodations after arriving, so I ended up buying cleaning supplies to clean my room enough to stay there. There were no "do not disturb" signs available, but at no time during my stay did anyone attempt to enter the room to clean it.

Hubby and I wanted to getaway for the weekend and I found this place right across the street from the beach. Price was great so I booked it. Positives: checking in was a breeze, free parking lot, cute pool area, and our room had a little balcony which we enjoyed a lot. Negatives: the hotel and rooms haven't been renovated in probably decades

Room was ran down walls disgustingly dirty floor dirty. Don’t get me started on the bathroom! Never once did they come and give new CLEAN linen. Absolutely no plug in outlets worth a damn. Curtains dangling off the rail so no privacy. Restaurant is non existent, ice machine did not work who knows for how long There was ONLY 1 staff member that was beyond nice he was a young gentleman that checked out the last day!

This is a VERY OLD property. Facilities somewhat shabby. But the price was right (about a Benjamin for a night), the beds were clean and comfy with lots of fluffy pillows and cold A/C. Great location right on the beach. If you are looking for a great location to lay your head for a good price, this is for you. If you are looking for new luxury, this is not for you.

They use some chemical agent on the carpet which you taste each time you put your bare foot on it, really nasty. No overhead lighting in the bedroom, no lighting control from the bed. If you want your room cleaned, each day you have to tell them to do it the next day. AC is incredibly noisy, hard to sleep.

This was my second stay at this property, so I knew this was an older building. Last year, the only problem I had was a tv issue and it was resolved without issue by a friendly and professional young man. This year I traveled with a friend - we both had problems with our rooms and were each met with extremely dismissive attitudes (A manager asked he, “well what do you want me to do about it - you checked in hours ago and just brought this up now?”). There are a few staff members that try their best to be understanding, but many others make it clear that they don’t care about their guests’ experiences. I spent one morning of my trip searching for someplace else to stay when I return next year. Disappointing.

The room was fine, we asked for room service every day of our trip, and we never got it one time. They never cleaned one time, they never picked up our dirty towels or brought us new towels. We went to the front desk and asked for them and they told us because we didn’t ask before noon we could not have them. They said they would sell room service and they never did the price in the room or fair for the fact they will not clean the room even when I asked or replace the linens or towels is ridiculous.

The front desk people were rude and not helpful. I arrived at 2:15 and was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00. I asked if I could leave my baggage and come back she said I could not do that. The room was dirty, and in need of a complete overhaul it smelled like an old bar. At check out they charge me a $2.26 safe I never heard of a safe fee. I will attach pictures.

We had the absolute best time staying here. the staff is absolutely amazing!! Juan is the best!! He was there for anything we needed and super welcoming. we arrived super late on a monday night and exhausted from travel. he was such a warm welcome. and all week just the happiest person to see. truly made our week! thank you so much. we will definitely return

“It’s the cheapest hotel across from the beach for a reason” -front desk lady. She said it best. Next time I’ll spend the extra money and go somewhere else. They have no idea how to work with Expedia so they decided to charge me after I already paid Expedia. Health department must be taking a white envelope in order to allow this place to keep operating in the condition that it’s in.

This property has a beautiful beach right across the street. It is in a very desirable area close to everything. The property itself is very unique with great history. Definitely needs refurbishing and updating but still to have the 1950 charm would be fantastic.

Upon arriving we weregreeted by Alex. He is such a nice & helpful young man. Our room was nice,smelled great,& very comfy bed. We will definitely stay again. The restaurant was so yummy!!! And the frozen mojito was AMAZING!!! THE BEST SERVICE I'VE HAD!!!

I do a girl's weekend about once a year and always stay here. The place has charm, but it needs a deep clean and some updates. We have an emotional connection, and the location is perfect for the area. We were disappointed that there was no restaurant even though the details on the website indicated there was one. The bathroom in our unit was peeling paint really bad in the tub but we will stay there again. Just wish it was a little more updated for the price.

Terrific location! Beds comfy, plenty of clean towels , nice cold fridge. Miss “The Deck” bar, but, the restaurant there now makes a good Pina Colada and the food we saw going to tables looked really good. All in all, if you just need a bed after a long day on the beach, this is an affordable option.

Took almost 2 hours to check in cause the staff couldn’t “find the booking” since their system is so old. The restaurant on the property went there for dinner was actually very good with recommended a little pricey but was worth it. The best part about it was being so close to the beach.
