We stayed at Miami Lakes Hotel for one night while in town for a Miami Dolphins game, and it was an excellent choice. The hotel offered a convenient shuttle to Hard Rock Stadium — pick-up and drop-off were smooth, easy, and stress-free. This made getting to the game so much more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was quick, and free parking was a bonus. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, I’d highly recommend Miami Lakes Hotel if you’re heading to a Dolphins game or looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay in Miami Lakes. The shuttle service really made the experience outstanding.

Rooms are a bit dated, and some of the AC units are in need of replacement, but the staff is SUPER and really accommodating. Good meals in the sports bar with great service and good prices. We will return to stay here for future Miami Hurricanes games.

Can’t say enough about the cleanliness and location of this property. The gardens and pool area are beautiful. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Shuttle service to Hard Rock Stadium was a huge plus! Definitely will stay here again when attending games at Hard Rock Stadium!

We stayed in the Lester Collins suite with stairs to an upper floor bedroom and a balcony off the main room which was very nice. We had extra beds in the main room as travelling as a family of 4, with two teenagers. The pool is standard with a concrete area and not heated so a bit cold in February. We also used the gym in the hotel complex, which was large with plenty of equipment. Miami Lakes immediate area was really nice; a family area which is very quiet. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it. It was convenient for driving into Miami and the airport but the traffic is incredibly busy most of the time. We parked at the Bayside Market Place parking lot which was fairly reasonably priced and got the hop on hop off bus (very expensive when they charge adult prices for teenagers) around the city.

Pros - Property was clean, room was spotless clean, staff was friendly. No parking fees. Local public gym access with stay. Cons - Hotel Restaurant not that appealing. you get two complementary water bottle only. If you need more you need to buy it at a vending machine. Overall great location with multiple options for eating out within walking distance. will book again.

I’ve stayed here at least 10 times. This was my first time back in 2 years. MY ROOM WAS FILTHY. The bathroom was full of hair that didn’t belong to anyone in my party. The bed linen was was up to par.

The hotel was very nice and smells good walking through the lobby. But i dont know if there is a section for discounted rooms because when i got to the room. There was toothpaste on a light switch in the bathroom. Hair in the bathtub and red trash on the bathroom floor. Upon getting in the bed i noticed that there were pink and purple marks on the pillow case. So i had to request new pillows. Needless to say i checked all the pillows but didn't check the rest of the bed. Until the day i was checking oit and noticed yellow stains on the sheets closer to the foot of the bed. But how the beds are tucked when made up it is not noticeable. I felt disgusted when i saw this. Knowing i slept in the bed 2 nights like that just made my skin crawl. But other than that. The hotel is nice. In a nice area. Has plenty of security. Although there was a heavy set girl that sat in the back of the hotel leaning up against a security car on her phone for long periods of time doing absolutely nothing. I mean i get it. As a security guard there is not much to do. But it just wasn't a good look. Maybe if she would've sat in the car and not made it so noticeable it wouldn't have been a big issue. The poil was very nice and warm. The bar had very good drinks. And all the staff was very nice. The rooms was even nice. But the housekeeping aspect of the hotels needs more work. And the security guards need some work too. Oh yeah the 80 year old security guard that was in the lobby was very sweet.

The place was dirty. The shower was one of the worst no pressure no hot water. The beds were filthy. So old and rundown I would not recommend this to anyone thank God. It was only one night.

The Staff was wonderful! The room was dirty, and drinks had been spilled on the walls were still there. The AC/Heat did not work, so the hotel moved us to another room, which was very kind of them. Food is very pricy in the restaurant, be prepared! The area felt very safe.

This was a fantastic stay! My friend and I had symphony tickets downtown and were looking for an affordable and clean place to stay the night after the performance. The hotel is in a great location - conveniently just off the highway in a very nice area with lots around and only a 25 minute drive to downtown. The staff was very friendly, and the room was spacious and very clean. We appreciated that it had a lot of mirrors for getting ready, and a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard. And the restaurant in the hotel had delicious food at a reasonable price. In the morning, there's even a cafe with pastries and good coffee. We already plan on staying here again the next time we are in town for the symphony!

I only stayed one night for an event in the area. The staff was nice. I didn't like my exact room (2221) because it was right next to the ice machine (noise issues) however I only stayed for one night so I didn't mention it. The only concern I have is the floors not having any rugs and being 100% wood. I had to turn up the AC because I'm anemic and I get very cold very easily. While I slept, the floor became very wet and there were puddles everywhere. Most hotels don't have wood in the rooms for reasons like that. I could have slipped and fell and that's a safety hazard. I am planning to come back to Miami next month but I won't be choosing this property again due to that reason.

Great location. Friendly staff. Only thing I’d say is that the tv in the room was like 32inches, so 2000’s. Also the bathroom had a pocket door which was difficult to close. Would stay again but wish they would upgrade.

I marked good but rooms could be upgraded especially with the size of the TV’s. I can’t speak for other rooms but our room the wood floors are bad as wavy and can cause trip hazard. Which I seen years ago in another room we stayed in on the opposite side of the hotel. This was my second time staying here in years. I would stay ago and recommend

Hotel was probably really nice back in the day. It’s just dated and in need of renovations in the guest rooms. Some of the hotel staff can’t speak English which can be a barrier. Parking is very easy and you can walk to a good bit of restaurants around the hotel

The check-in process was a complete nightmare. We booked two rooms for a family trip and arrived at the hotel early. The front desk confirmed that both rooms were available, verified the names on the reservation, but told us early check-in was not allowed. That was fine, so we left and returned later. When we came back, we were shocked to learn that one of the rooms had been given to someone else. Even more concerning, the check-in paperwork for the room under my name showed initials and a signature that were clearly not mine, which strongly suggests that no ID was checked before handing over the room. This was not just inconvenient—it was unprofessional and alarming, especially from a security standpoint. The staff was not very friendly nor welcoming. We went for the MNF game with the Jets and they had no idea about the shuttle or any information. When we told them what the shuttle people told us, they insisted we were wrong. We weren't. It would help if they had an English speaking person at the front desk along with the others.

What a great experience. The front desk young ladies(Kate) can’t remember the other young ladies name. They were just super helpful and very polite. I had been on the road for 8 hours and extremely exhausted. I arrived approximately at 11am with very little expectation of being checked in early. But Kate and the other young lady made it happen and found me room to check in. I was extremely grateful. Definitely recommend and will be staying there anytime I’m in Miami Lakes. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

The sheets on one of our beds had several stains on them. When I called the front desk for replacement sheets, they couldn’t find much. After finding something suitable for the evening I was told to let the manager know what happened. I did, the following morning. I received an apology and was asked to share photos via email. I did. Then I was told I would have a full service cleaning done while I was out for the day. When I returned to the room, it was cleaned. However, someone went through my niece’s luggage and her cell phone was removed from her purse which was purposely sealed away in her luggage. It was obvious that someone went through our belongings bc we specifically hid any electronic devices in the zippered parts of our luggage and then closed everything prior to leaving. But when we got back, my niece’s bag was open and her phone was found elsewhere. When I called the front desk to notify them and ask that no one else enter our room until after checkout, I was only told that a note would be left and no one would come back to our room. The next day we went out again and when we came back, the room had been serviced, so they ignored my request and a manager never reached out to me regarding the incident. I’d suggest staying elsewhere.

Excellent staff,very friendly! Mia at the front desk was Awesome! We arrived & wanted to book a shuttle to the stadium & she took the time to come and help us. When we checked out she was the one that helped us again. Customer service is few and far between these days and Mia certainly made our stay memorable! It being our first time to Miami. Will certainly be back to stay at your hotel again. Staff very friendly at uour front desk & dining area as well. Location was near everything we needed. Hotel was clean, fresh and had a really good night sleep with your comfy bed. Thank You From the Fords Prince Edward Island, Canada 🇨🇦

This is by far the cleanest (literally the air smells clean, no dust ANYWHERE, you could probably eat off of the floor) hotel we've ever stayed in. My allergies typically go haywire either from dust, mold, mildew etc when we travel. When I tell you I slept like a baby the 3 nights we were there! When housekeeping came to clean... they CLEANED. Like not the typical let me wipe here etc but that room was fully sanitized and you could see and smell it. The ONLY thing I will complain about is the fact that breakfast was subpar and overpriced. The steakhouse/bar was pretty good. Love the area. As many times as I've traveled to Miami over the years I had never been over there. Super quiet, tons of shops and places to eat in walking distance. There was even a really nice green market across the street from our hotel room that Saturday morning. We will definitely staycation here again.
