I chose for the pool and included breakfast… neither were available. Pool was empty and nothing for breakfast.

Pool was nice! Complimentary coffee and water bottles. The rooms were great! Very bug with TV and full kitchen!

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Each staff member I encountered was very polite. The facilities were mostly clean did not seem outdated. The only knock is that with it being a pet friendly hotel there were alot of dogs out and about and the hallways had a very strong kennel like smell. I understand that could be a normal thing for pet friendly hotels but it definitely caught me off guard.

The space is great. Unfortunately, we had hair in the bathroom & on the reading chair. The kitchen faucet leaked water everytime it was turned on & the AC does NOT cool the whole room. Ironically, at night it gets pretty hot in the room. We had to remove the duvet from the cover to get some relief. The AC fan speed is not adjustable, therefore we were not able to increase the speed. I repeat, IT GETS HOT AT NIGHT!! The king bed felt more like a queen but it wasn't so bad. The staff that checked me in was very polite & helpful. Parking is plentiful but they are in the middle of remodeling, so it's a little crowded. Lots of places to eat nearby, actually walking distance. They have FREE, yes I said FREE washet & dryers, just bring your own detergent. Gym on premises. They are pet friendly so be careful, a dog barked all night on our first night there.

The elevator is not working and my family and I had to go up 3 flight of stairs each day. Additionally the breakfast area was not fixed for us to sit to have a proper breakfast and there is not a variety of food to pick from. Also sometimes when we go for breakfast within the timeframe there wasn’t any food to be served. The hotel was very unorganized with their payment methods and room service. Each day we had to go for towels because there wasn’t anyone cleaning the bedrooms.

Me and my family didn’t have any concerns with our rooms. But at relate to safety at night the outside of property is dark. For some reason the outside lights was off

Nice neighborhood. Close to shopping center and restaurants and a walkable park. The hotel is undergoing renovations that is needed but still recommend it. No breakfast available yet. Staff very professional and attentive.

This place is under construction and overpriced, dust, not enough parking, rooms are dark and outdated

I love my room. The unique thing about the property was the free laundry facility. The property is still under construction.

There is no continetial breakfast(reason for booking with 6 people) , pool under constuction and our room said 1 king 1 queen got 2 queen. She explained at the front desk that they were bought out by another company and a lot of changes are happening and that Expedia has not updated their site. Still not right thinking you are getting something you are not.

I did not like the property because it was dirty. The carpet and the vents were filthy. I became sick from the dirt. The location was fine because it was minutes away from where I was attending an event.

The pictures shown online is a drastic difference than what you actually have once checked in. The biggest inconvenience was the fact they had no heat. It was 36 degrees the night on January 24, 2025 there was no heat and the staff said because they were in Florida there was no need for heat and they didn't offer heat. The eye on the stove wouldn't turn off. The coffee pot had mold in the bottom of it. The hotel itself had a funny smell. The carpet was extremely stained. The properry looked like an inside motel instead of an hotel.

Front desk crew was honestly amazing and kind. Both the man that checked us in and the woman that checked us out. However the building itself was old, worn down, dirty, it smells Ike mold, the carpet was filthy that man sons feet turned black with dir, the kitchen was sticky, it was just nasty all around, the smell gave me a massive headache .. would not recommend

The rooms are well designed with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. However, it really needs to be renovated. There were plenty openings and we saw a roach.

Worst experience i have ever had at any Marriott property. There were roaches in the room, rooms were old and smelled dirty and stale. Staff was not helpful and they did not thoroughly clean the room upon check-in nor during our stay even though we requested it.

Service was great all around But the room was outdated the rug was dirty and smelling two of the room lamps did I not worked and was noisy

The property is going through a renovation process , so I think it needs to closed until that process is completed. It’s has a mildew smell and the carpet is very dirty

Our room when we checked in had a broken stove. They then moved us the next day to a room with a dishwasher that poured water out not hot water when we woke up and the tv’s did not work. They only gave up 5000 points and $50 off

Rooms are being renovated. They are in great condition and extremely clean. The only issue we had was not being able to get WiFi. Not sure if that was because of the renovations or some other reason. I even had a peaceful sleep as you didn’t hear anyone being loud. We felt very comfortable and we are picky about our hotel stays.

Nice hotel with super friendly staff, great parking and comfortable room with useful kitchen BUT the toilet tank leaked on the bathroom floor and we had to leave towels underneath the leak or the bathroom floor would have water all over. The tub drain did not work well and the tub filled up while showering then took 20 minutes to empty. The pitch of the tub around the drain was such that beach sand remained in the tub. Some light bulbs went off and on at random. One night table drawer would not stay closed and always pitched halfway open. There is very little shelf space. There is nowhere to put dishes after you wash them. Couldn't access YouTubeTV on the television. If you like to sleep in be prepared to receive less housekeeping and need to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. Be careful if you request high speed vs regular wifi you be surprised by extra charges. And in general the room is kind of raggedy with lots of little pieces of delayed maintenance.

Super spacious and comfortable, convenient for large families

My A/C was broken in the first room. The Tv was broken in the second room. The location was not close to any attractions. The bathroom doors either didn’t lock or close.

I arrived later than planned, and the clerk on duty provided outstanding service, explaining proper function of the a/c system in the room. The room was nice and in order. I will make Candlewood Suites Miami Lakes my choice stay on my next visit to Miami.

The morning and the evening front desk are very accommodating and helpful. The afternoon staff is just horrendous. This does not pay attention to details nor have any affection to the wrong as they do towards the guest and give off such attitude and as as continues to argue and complain with guests, on fact, as they are wrong to what they did

I liked the stay just didn't like when my room key stopped working and the staff had me going back and forth downstairs to get them to assist and two of them were on duty

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is nice and shopping/restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is being redone and looks nice.

We arrived to the hotel at 6 PM, three hours after check in. Rooms were not ready. There was one person at the front desk who could not register other guests and would not call a manager. She indicated she was not a manager. When we contacted Expedia for a refund, they contacted the hotel who lied to Expedia and said the room was ready. I will be contacting my bank for a refund.

Waited 4 hours for a room that I reserved a month ago

I recently stayed and wanted to formally express my concerns regarding the accommodations and overall experience. I understand that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations; however, the room initially assigned to us was in extremely poor condition. It was located on the first floor of the unrenovated building and was not only visibly rundown—with missing baseboards and heavily soiled carpeting—but also had an overwhelming odor that made it uninhabitable. Upon bringing these concerns to the front desk, I requested to be moved to a renovated room, but I was informed that none were available at that time. Instead, we were relocated to a room on the third floor of the same building. While it was somewhat cleaner, it was still incomplete, as it was also missing baseboards. More importantly, I had originally booked a two-bedroom suite, but the new room was significantly smaller, requiring my sister to sleep on the couch. Despite multiple follow-ups, we were given inconsistent information about the possibility of being moved to a more suitable room and, ultimately, were never provided with the accommodations we had originally reserved. Additionally, no effort was made to offer any form of compensation, whether through a room rate adjustment or other accommodation for the significant inconvenience. I am disappointed in the handling of this situation and hope that the hotel will take steps to improve both the condition of its rooms and the level of service provided to guests.

Place was nice. Was on first floor so not as quiet as I would like. Didn’t use pool but looked nice. Breakfast was good. Overall I would stay here again when visiting. Close to highway and centrally located. Rooms have full kitchens and comfortable beds.

Place was clean and quiet. Didn’t use pool because of the cooler weather. Breakfast was good.

There was a musty/ dirty smell in the hallways. The room was musty as well. The Continental breakfast was inedible.

They are renovating the hotel and that is why there is limited breakfast options. The check-in counter is set on one of the rooms. The room is spacious and clean with a full kitchen. The hallway carpet is dirty.
