Only one night stay at the Hotel, so not much experience. Fast check in and check out.The area walkable, 5 min to Chain Bridge, 20 to the Parlament and others. If you partying is great. Most pubs and stores close around 10 pm. Parlament and Chain Bridge illuminated from 9 to 11 Pm on the dot. Parking was not available in the garage, but 600 Huf./ hour from 8am to 10pm around surrounding area, found one spot right in front of the hotel. Hotel is small, but nice, good breakfast from 7:30 am.

The property is in an excellent location close to public transportation but also within walking distance to major attractions. The river view is fantastic. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. On the downside the room was too warm. Also, if you cannot walk up stairs be sure to alert the property when you book. The top floor is only accessible by taking the elevator to the 8th floor and then walking up a flight of stairs to the 9th floor. Regardless, I would probably choose the property again if I revisit the area.

Stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and was pleased to come back. Breakfast area has been extended with plenty of hot food options readily offered. Great views of the parliament building and the chain bridge. Hotel arranged transfers to and from the airport. Only slight downside is that the Christmas markets are all on the other side of the river and the nearby chain bridge is currently closed. It is prettty easy though to get on the metro 250 yds away and go two stops to the centre to access them.

The Boutique Hotel Victoria is a renovated building, very modern, right on the Danube on the Buda side of the river, and our room faced the river. The windows were floor to ceiling and the view was spectacular. We couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. The room was large with two sitting chairs and a coffee table and the bathroom was modern and very clean. The beds were large (probably close to king size (american standard)-- two twin size mattresses next to each other in one frame and two excellent pillows per person. As with all european hotels, each person has their own quilt and the linens were unbelieveably soft. Everything was sparkling clean. The breakfasts (included in the price) are the usual excellent buffet with hot and cold choices, and they also offer freshly made eggs, omelets, etc. when you sit down. The staff was welcoming and seem to genuinely enjoy assisting visitors. The location is excellent, easy walking to all Buda side sites and close to the bridges to the Pest side. Public transport is right outside. There are three great restaurants with wonderful Hungarian cuisine, just outside the hotel and prices are very reasonable. The hotel also has a bar in the lobby as well as coffee and tea available later in the morning afte the breakfast area is closes. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located on the Buda side of the river with an excellent view of the imposing Hungarian Parliament building if you book one of the river view rooms. This side of the river is a little quieter, but the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Chain Bridge and a metro station, plus trams and buses stop nearby. The hotel is clean with a lovely scent in the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and the included breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend.

The location is excellent as you really feel like you are in Budapest with the view of Parliment house, Danube and Chain bridge which are 3 of the most famouse sights of the city. The property is in good condition, however the carpet in our room was very tired and needs urgent replacing. The stares, passage ways and lift carpet had little bits of litter on them each day of our stay. We had to change our 4 day booking by 1 week for personal reasons. The hotel took the total funds for that booking which left a very sour taste on their greedy attitude.

Hotel Victoria was a great jumping off point for seeing all the sights. The front desk helped us with last minute dinner reservations at a charming local restaurant. Room was clean, comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Loved the hot shower. Restaurant on the water next door was delicious.

On the Danube and looking across to Pest and the Parliament building is a great vista night and day. The Budapest transport system is unbelievably good. Goes everywhere and is quick and very frequent. The tram stops right outside the hotel. Super nice breakfast with friendly staff who are also very helpful. The beds are quite soft and very warm. The air con wasn’t on but will be shortly - it was in between seasons. There are no windows that open so you would rely on this working in the summer heat. The one window is full and panoramic and affords the brilliant view. Quite quiet as well considering the road and tram are directly below. Recommend 5th floor or above. The bathroom is quite small and has a shower.

This hotel had everything one needed: good showers, good beds, working wifi and nice location. Beautiful view across the river. And the breakfast was delicious, with fresh cooked eggs. Really, it's a great place to stay. If you want more diversity of restaurants and shopping, you might want to stay across the river. But for us, this was perfect. The only snafu is that the staff did not know that one of the main train stations was closed for renovations. I would have thought this was a big enough deal that management would have informed staff of it. Luckily, a fellow traveler overhead my inquiry and let me know. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, all the rooms have a beautiful view of the Danube & parliament building. Clean, comfortable and quiet (except when guests above sound like they are moving furniture around for hours). Fantastic buffet breakfast with hot eggs and bacon cooked on request, the lady host in the restaurant is very attentive and helpful. Great place, would stay again and recommend.

Fantastic hotel with incredible views of the Parliament building, the Danube and Pest. Right on the river on the Buda side so quite relaxed which suited us. Very good local restaurants nearby, 5 minute walk to chain bridge to cross to Pest. We paid for a upgrade to a high number floor (823) which was an amazing room, large with a dual aspect full length windows giving wonderful views day and night

Got the uppermost level with balcony and the views are spectacular. It overlooks the river, Parliament House, Chain Bridge and for certain rooms even the castle district. Breakfast is simple but ample. Room is cosy but tad musky. Airing fixed it.

I found this place from Rick Steve’s discussion board and decided to give it a try. Turns out it truly worth all the stellar reviews. Unbeatable location on the Buda side by the river, short walk to the chain bridge. My room comes with awesome view of the Danube river and the Parliament building. The room is spacious and clean. The property looks like owned and managed by the owner family who are warm, tentative, and helpful. They offered to print out my tour ticket. I also saw them share jogging and biking routes with guests. The breakfast has a plentiful selections, with freshly made eggs per your specific order. This is really a gem property to stay in Budapest !

Excellent hotel. Location is fantastic, room layout and appointments were very well thought out, and everything was super clean. Also Front Desk Staff were very friendly/helpful in assisting with sightseeing arrangements, and the complimentary breakfast was sumptuous. Highly Recommend!

A fantastic hotel on the Buda side - walk up the hill to explore all of the main attractions, or over the bridge to the Pest side. A few nice restaurants close by. The room was comfortable with a spectacular view of Parliament. We would highly recommend a stay here
