From the moment I walked into reception when I was greeted with a smile, I felt welcome. Staff were friendly, facilities clean & tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The parking at the back of the motel was good & I felt the car would be safe. I will definitely stay there again if I need accommodation. I have made recommendations to friends already.

Easy place to stay at. Has necessary facilities and good location. Information on wotif.com needs updating eg. Says payment online at booking is unavailable but when I checked in I was told they had tried to process my payment with my credit card. This was confusing.

Early booking in available - I did not have to wait at the Hospital for 8 hours as we had a 6.30 admission time - much appreciated. Also loved the table and chairs outside the room in the sun.

The property was a little tricky to get into initially but it was very helpful to learn there are two ways in and out via a side street. Our room was exceptionally clean and tidy!! Very well done on that front. Microwave in the cupboard was helpful and basic kitchen utensils. There was a notice inside the cupboard that extra fees would be charged if everything wasn’t cleaned and put away. Staff were very friendly and helped me and my baby with our luggage which was so nice. It was a quiet area and we slept great. TV and air con were winners for us and a decent size fridge.

While all other motels had raised their prices significantly, City Motor Inn deliberately kept their pricing reasonable. I appreciate the ethics and honesty of this decision. Our room decor was dated but spotlessly clean and had all amenities we needed. We were even offered a free breakfast in the dining room. The grounds were also maintained in an immaculate condition. Thanks for our stay, we will return (and book earlier next time!!!).

We stayed in a room that was in the inside of the motel. The traffic noise was terrible and you could hear every person moving around the motel at all hours of the night On a positive, it was cheap, very clean and the staff were amazing

When the traffic stopped the noise was ok. The room does have some open vents which would be great in the summer, but do let the traffic noise in. Beds are not really setup for the cold. Two thin blankets was not enough. Air conditioning needs an upgrade to split system so you can run it overnight if you need to. Old fashioned in wall units are just too noisy. At least it worked and took the chill off.

We travel A LOT and use wotif reviews to help us decide where to stay, but this has to be the most bizarre and rude service we have ever received in a motel. We asked some straight forward questions when booking in and he pretty much said you aren't happy, go somewhere else. We said we wanted to go ahead with the booking (we had already paid) but he said no. Gladly left and found another motel. He was rude to the customer in front of us as well, very disappointing

The managers were terrible. We ended up leaving before we had even stayed the night. Hoping they actually refunded us but they refused to give a receipt after verbally abusing us because we parked our car boot end first instead of front end. Would not recommend!

Wonderful clean, fresh feeling. Subtle & classic decor in my room a 20sq m. Great location, gentle stroll to local food takeaway strip mall. Gentle walk to Toowoomba Central. Very close to the park for flowers. The person who helped us check in offered some great advice about where to eat and we weren’t disappointed. It’s not 5 star luxury but was perfect for somewhere to lay our head and see the sights. Good value
