False advertising- no hot tub. The only have an indoor heated pool that is by reservation and it’s only 88 degrees.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. The roof top terrace with pool overlooking the sea is absolutely incredible and made our stay even more enjoyable! Bartender Ruben was always friendly and welcoming at the rooftop terrace. Great full buffet breakfast in the morning. Comfortable and well appointed room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Bus stop right outside the doors to take you into Sorrento. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

We had a wonderful stay here, from check-in to check-out. Front desk staff were wonderful: friendly greetings whenever we passed by, efficient with any request. Parking was available; free and easy (we requested prior to arriving). The room was lovely; the view spectacular (overlooking the island of Capri, and Sorrento. There was significant road noise from our balcony, but it was not noticeable with the glass doors closed. The bed was comfortable, and temperature controls were easily managed. The bathroom was roomy, with a larger shower than we typically had in other locations in Italy. Rooftop bar at the pool was relaxing to enjoy at the end of a day touring the area, as was the spa pool below it. The restaurant was amazing as well; wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was included each morning, with a wide selection of beverages and both Italian and American style food choices. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The best part of our entire honeymoon trip was staying at this hotel! The staff were exceptional and helped us book all of our activities, print our train tickets, make restaurant reservations, anything we needed. Our room was cleaned every day, and the amenities were amazing. We took advantage of the hotel spa and had massages, and we loved the rooftop pool. Overall an amazing stay, and we will recommend to anyone travelling to Sorrento.

The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool which is nice. The balcony of our room is also nice facing west which allows to enjoy the sunset.

Although the furnishings could use a little updating, we found the hotel to be exceptional and the staff extremely helpful. There’s a great pool and bar with a view of Capri that is second to none. It’s a little ways away from the tourist strip which we liked and there is a bus that can take you down the hill that comes every 20-30 minutes. The staff helped us rent a moped which was great for exploring. We picked this hotel because of budget and it far exceeded our expectations.

The view was breathtaking of Capri and the sunsets from our room, the restaurant, and the wonderful rooftop pool. Nothing was an inconvenience for the staff upon any request. A short trip to Sorrento by the buses that stop at the hotel’s entrance every 20 minutes - and for only 2 EUR. Sad to leave but thank you for everything! ☀️🇮🇹❤️

호텔방에서의 뷰와 시설이 아주 깔끔하고 깨끗했음. 수영장 및 스파도 좋고, 특히 수영장에서의 지중해 뷰가 아주 좋았음. 조식도 포함되어 있어 맛있게 즐겼음. 다만, 호텔까지 가는 길이 넓지 않아 오토바이들을 조심해야 함. 호텔 내 주차장도 있어서 문제 없었음

It was a beautiful place to stay. The view was amazing! The food was good and the pool was nice! My husband and son both had massages and they said that they were great! The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice.

Wonderful staff and amazing views! Breakfast was lovely as they offer lots of options, massages were excellent and the rooftop pool was the perfect spot to cool down & relax. The room was very clean .. overall a great experience!

We stayed from 6/18-6/23/25. The staff are so friendly, always greeting you with a smile and hello. Francisco and Lucia at the front desk (everyone) always helpful. Very clean and pristine smaller hotel with great service and concern. Always available for any questions you have regarding bus, train or tours. Bus stop is also conveniently in the front of hotel. Amazing view of Capri breakfast very good with scrambled/hard boiled eggs, Italian meats, pastries, fruit, yogurt and more. Coffee machines were awesome with any coffee you desire. Restaurant for dinner was also very good. Pool was clean and bartender, Rueben, was amazing with his positive upbeat personality, delicious and well garnished drinks. Pool was not crowded most of the time. Very quiet and serene place. We would definitely come again!

Excellent hotel near Sorrento. We stayed here for 10 nights and it is an ideal location to visit the surrounding resorts. Staff are excellent and cannot do enough to make the stay enjoyable. Really clean with great facilities. Would definitely stay again if we came back to this area.

We loved our stay at Hotel and Spa Bellavista Francischiello! The staff was so kind and even helped arrange our transfer the next day. The hotel is so beautiful and our room was amazing. Everything clean with lots of towels and even robes to wear after our showers. We chose to eat in the restaurant at the hotel and the prices were good, the food excellent. We were treated well here too, the restaurant staff was so kind. A wonderful stay! I hope we can go back again some day!!! We loved being at this hotel.

The hotel was amazing! It is remote from the chaos of tourists. It was peaceful, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was nice with beautiful views of the Sorrento and Capri coast. The restaurant was amazing! My only complaint was that our room had a bit of an ant problem. Our kids room did not.

The room was good with lovely balcony and view. The main problem was we had no WiFi at all the whole week we were there. We had the manager come and check then nothing done about it. Also we had no tv only couple of Italian channels worked. The English ones said no service and the screen went blank The Netflix wouldn’t connect either!! So inaffect we had no tv all week also. The breakfast was basic and the same each day. Strange bacon and the scrambled eggs one day tasted off. They ran out of gluten free bread for 2 days.

We nearly burned ourselves in the shower and when we complained to management they said it was our fault. I tried to explain that it was like there was no cold water being mixed with the hot water but they told us that was impossible. They came to the room and said it was because we didn't know how to run the controls. It wasn't until I showed them that only hot water was coming out of the sink that they believed us. After five minutes of calls they realized that there was a cold water shutoff above the door. "I don't know why that would have been shut off." The condition was dangerous. Such valves should not be where another guest may fiddle with them. We only stayed one night. The other problem: there is no place to walk, at all and a really inadequate place to work out. We came to Italy to walk and stretch but that wasn't possible, unless you count the four flights of stairs you had to climb to get to our second floor room. The view is beautiful but that was the only thing this room had to recommend. We were so unhappy with day one of our trip that we ripped up our itinerary and went north to Florence.

Dit hotel heeft een prachtige ligging met uitzicht op Capri. Sorrento is gemakkelijk per bus of auto te bereiken. Heerlijke cocktails bij de poolbar en een prima uitgebreid buffet. Het hotel is helaas wel erg gehorig en ligt aan een drukke weg. Daardoor hoor je echt alles in de kamers en is rustig op je balkon zitten er niet echt bij.

The staff was friendly, but the rooms are old and beds are uncomfortable. The balcony is nice but he lights of the hotel ruin the view. Very good pictures on the website but not the correct ones from the rooms

This is a lovely property, clean and well looked after. The view from the rooftop terrace is fantastic and the staff are super helpful. The reason for a 4star rating is because I got a room facing the road and the noise was terrible. Even for October when Sorrento is meant to ve much quieter and with less traffic. Also the breakfast was rather limited considering the price per night.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious and comfortable - and the view was spectacular.

The pool area is beautiful. Overall the hotel decor feels dated feel and wasn’t close or within walking distance to anything (which was OK because we were only there for one night). Breakfast options were really good and our room was pretty with lots of nice little amenities. Room was comfortable with a huge TV. Overall, it was a nice stop on our road trip and was good for some quiet downtime.

Property was nice and clean , but I booked a sea view and most of the rooms are partial sea view, they try to change my room 3 times but the view was the same. Definitely a 3 star hotel, needs some touch up in showers, breakfast was not good except coffee and croissant . Owners were very accommodating though. There is a bus that stops at front for two euros and takes u to the center. In my opinion it was better than many other hotels I stayed while i was there but overpriced.

Das Frühstück war eher mager und ohne große Abwechslung – ist das in Italien generell üblich? Wir hatten eine schöne Aussicht aufs Meer, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Leider hatten wir für drei Tage kein Internet im Zimmer, und es wurde sich nicht wirklich darum gekümmert, was etwas frustrierend war.

NEVER had such a terrible hotel stay. First, the positives: the view is beautiful of Capri, the restaurant was good, and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Besides that, AWFUL. When we arrived the woman who checked us in was useless. She walked us to our room but told us no details about anything, how to get to town (as it’s 10+ minutes from Sorrento and the road getting to it isn’t walkable), anything about the restaurant, zip. We couldn’t control the AC at night because apparently some guests were cold, so we basically sweat all night because it was on the “calor function,” and when we asked about it the man there said he fixed it for us, but there was no change. The following morning we had breakfast in the restaurant, which was good, went up to our room after but it was being cleaned, so we took the stairs down to the lobby to wait, and my mom slipped on the stairs due to wet floors that were being cleaned (SOAKED) but there was no wet floor sign and she hit her head on the bottom step. The maid just stared at her for like 30 secs and didn’t say A THING (no apology) and just tried forcing her up which is a HUGE no. She told the managers that she just “fell on her ass” when she really landed on her butt AND head. I told the staff about what happened and they basically looked at me blank. Only helpful person was Giovanna at the desk who checked on my mom. Offered spa services (really after an injury?) and if we needed a doctor. Checked out next morning. Do not book.

We were there the last week of March 2025. I was happy to do my dream trip for my birthday and the hotel has a beautiful view. Transportation was easy from the main door to the town. Food was good too; however, the service wasn’t what I excepted. We asked several times about tours and information of any activities but we were told that it was low season and we were ignored. We ended up buying a great tour in downtown Sorrento to Capri and another to the Amalfi coast but the hotel didn’t help us at all with information. We basically stayed there come in and out. One night they closed the restaurant without enough notice and we didn’t have anywhere to eat since there is nothing around and we had a small baby. About the baby, the didn’t seem very happy with having the baby in the restaurant and in the hotel. We were constantly rushed to eat and finish even though my baby was very calm at all times. They didn’t even offer desert so they wanted us to leave. I was shocked since we had 14 days in Italy and everywhere else was fantastic and very family oriented. The have an indoor pool but when we asked, they say that the baby wasn’t allowed I. The indoor pool 😧. Which I didn’t understand why… If this is not a hotel for family, please advertise that way. I get that some places are meant to be for couples, but PLEASE make sure you advertise it that way. I which i picked the other big hotel in the area or in Sorrento instead of this one.

Beautiful vista overlooking the hills, well-appointed and well maintained. Good parking and easy access to Sorrento or Positano. The number one attraction are the management and staff, they were so helpful and genuine about making you feel comfortable. Lovely people, highly recommended, we entered as guests and left as friends.

Rude staff, terrible service, and two days in a row ear-splitting drilling right by our room starting at 8:30. We let it go one day, and went out, but the second day it was raining and we got a huge headache and finally had to ask for them to stop. We never got the comped bottle of wine. Poor command of English so any complex requests went unanswered. After my fever, I got a massage the next day, and went up to the pool deck. I lost the key card and the brusque, older woman with shoulder length brown hair and thick black glasses made a big to do about this! It's a spa and aren't we supposed to be relaxing? The road is noisy and the shutters do drown out some of the road noise at night but very noisy if you want to sit on your patio, the road is right there. it look over 14 hours just go get an extra blanket when I was freezing with a fever one might. No friendly greetings, nasty stares, and the front desk forgot our 5:30 am wake up call and we almost missed our flight. The same older man at the front desk gave us the wrong information and told us our tour was cancelled due to rain when it was not! One morning we had no breakfast because they were short staffed and opened late. A lot more went wrong! The spa was luke warm, the steam room and sauna did not work and you have to book these serices in advance, no one tells you this. We asked for a reduction in our bill but the man at the front desk said he is just a worker. I will be contacting Expedia for one!

As an Anglo-Italian, this hotel is the perfect mix of that traditional Italian feel with luxury. The staff were absolutely amazing and bring such a personal touch to the hotel that I’ve never really experienced elsewhere. Giovanna was so friendly, kind, and helpful. She made our stay one of a kind. The owners are so welcoming and lovely, and bring that familial touch to their hotel. For example, one of the owners, Francesco, provided us and other visitors with lifts to and from Sorrento due to some of the buses being unavailable. Everything felt at ease at Hotel Bellavista, which is something the owners definitely ensure for their visitors. The housekeepers freshened our rooms beautifully each day. Each time we came back to our hotel room after a day of exploring, our rooms were so fresh and clean. They were also so friendly and made our room feel very special. The restaurant staff provided a lovely breakfast each morning, from eggs, bacon, provolone, zucchini, tomatoes, fruit, salad, yogurt, you name it. Again, the restaurant staff was so friendly and catered to all our food needs. The hotel’s intimate and peaceful spa added that bit of luxury for our trip. We used the heated pool every day and was able to truly relax. The location is perfect. Close to Sorrento by 7-10 minute by car or bus. Massa Lubrense also has so much to offer with such picturesque views of Capri and Ischia, especially when the sun is setting.

The hotel is very nice and comfy but if they have a shuttle bus to the city center, this would e perfect as public transportation is sometimes busy and delayed

Great place. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Fantastic location. Just far enough away from the busy city. Bus stop right outside the front door that comes every 20 minutes. Skip that stay in Naples you were planning and book an extra night in Sorrento/Massa Lubrense.

This hotel has an authentic Italian feel. The staff are excellent, welcoming and helpful. The food is great and the evening meal is table service which is a refreshing change. The rooftop bar and pool have beautiful views across to Capri. There is a regular bus service into Sorrento every 20 minutes which stops outside the hotel. However, the hotel sits right on a busy road. We had a ground floor room which gave us a lovely view but was very noisy. The road has no pavement and so, if you like a walk in the evening its not safe. There are no nearby bars or shops that we could see.

Best view of ocean & Capri. Comfortable, clean, staff that made it seem like home. Good value for ghe price. Nice that breakfast was included. Incredible massage in the spa - great price too! Would recommend it. But, not walkable to anything, and a busy/noisy road.

We liked the vibrant hotel and the gracious front desk. Our room was clean and we did have a partial view of the ocean. It is about 1 mile from Sorrento and I don’t think it can be walked safely (no sidewalks). There is a bus stop that can take you into the city right outside the hotel— for either the EAV or Sita. It will also drop you back. You can purchase bus tickets ahead of time at a tabacchi shop or pay on the bus. We found the EAV came around more often when we needed it but expect that it comes about every 30 minutes. There are barely any call buttons or signage where you are on the bus route so google maps is very handy to figure out when you need to get off. The hotel itself suites our needs. The included breakfast had a lot of options, which we enjoyed. We liked the quiet and that the city was a little bit away.

The hotel was further outside of Sorrento then I expected, but is was not a problem at all. During check-in, Lucia (who was fantastic!), told us about the bus. It runs every 20 minutes and takes you right into the center of town. We took it a few times. The views from the hotel are spectacular. We enjoyed a day by the pool - perfect place to unwind. The breakfast was more that we expected with plenty of choice. The hotel is a bit dated, but we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful family run hotel. The staff were amazing from check in and throughout our stay. The views from the hotel rooms and restaurant were stunning. You are guaranteed sunset / sunrise views whilst looking out to Capri island. The location is a 12min bus journey from sorrento town centre and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Its away from the busy town but close enough to get to each day. Highly recommended this hotel.

Nice hotel near Sorrento in Massa Lubrense. We thought it would be nice getting away from the crowds, so chose this place. Good news is bus stops right in front. Bad news is it’s on the street so can definitely hear car noise much of the night.

The hotel is very nice and the views are amazing. It is a little off the beaten path which we liked, but a very easy drive or bus ride to sorrento. The rooms are spacious and the staff is great. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful staff and the restaurant was incredible! If you’re looking for a quiet stay but still close to Sorrento, we would recommend staying here. The views are incredible and we woke up with a view of Capri every morning. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. We found ourselves eating at the hotel restaurant several nights for dinner though. With a large wine list and plenty of antipasti, primi and secondi course, we always tried something new. The staff at the front desk, restaurant and all over the property were all very friendly. Breakfast was included which was a big bonus with many pastries, eggs, standard Italian breakfast items, cereal and full coffee bar to choose from. With a city bus stop right in front of the hotel, it’s easy to get into Sorrento to catch a ferry or go shopping. The bus runs every 20 min and you’ll want the Massa Lubrense line when coming back from Sorrento.

Amazing pool/views. Food was excellent. The staff was wonderful. Air conditioning was the best of our stay. Views were lovely. Easily the nicest hotel from our holiday.

What can say, this hotel was a total surprise! Although the reviews were 5 star, if I could give more stars, I would! Incredible staff, beautiful property and an amazing restaurant. Our dinners and breakfasts were 10 star. We stayed there a week ago and we are still telling friends and family about the food. The room was wonderful with a balcony facing Capri. Parking was included which was very helpful. Other than the vehicles passing by, the area is peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!
