Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. There are lots of restaurants just steps outside of this hotel including half block of food stalls on street at night. This hotel also offers free shuttle to few local attractions from Friday to Sunday (need to book in advance). I will definitely stay here again.

It is a walking distance like 10-12 mins to Gama shopping center, KOMTAR, 1st Avenue and Prangin Mall. The durian stall is just nearby the hotel near the main road. There is an open concept chinese hawker stalls which operates after 5pm till 11pm. And surrounded by Chinese restaurant. (Probably it suits to those Non Muslim hotel guest or the non halal food consumer.) The hotel swimming pool located at L3 is only suitable for kids. It is just a small pool, water height is around 1.5m. The setback is that, the management should re think about the comfortability of the guest while in the room as well. The water pressure in the shower and the water tap in the toilet, is very weak. I believe the the management instruct the maintenance to reduce the water pressure to save water. This cause a bit discomfort for the guest like myself whom enjoy strong water pressure while taking a shower.

Stayed at Sunway 15 years ago. Coincidently, booked again and the hotel has been refurbished. Very central. Reasonable facilities like gym & small swimming pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Used the gym & pool several times. House keeping service was excellent here. Rooms were immaculate every day. Nothing too much trouble for the house keeping staff. I also used the free shuttle service to get to Armenian street.

Hotel location is very gd, New Lane market for stalls just round the corner. Ample food options are available nearby hotel. Facilities are in gd working condition. Little minus point - There was a used towel and shower cap on the washroom when I checked in. Air-conditioning and WiFi was abit unstable.

This is our 4th stay during our visit here in Georgetown., All is good except for their Vintage Wall Hung TV that is grossly lacking in Programs., Suggest Management look into Changing to Smart TV to cater for more nimble clientele for Netflik, Disney+ and other Apple or Android mobile users. We stayed for three nights and appreciated the services throughout our stay. The hotel is surrounded by food vendors of different varieties and price ranges. Great open view from the room (on the 15th floor). Easily to get Grab for transportation. Walking distance to attractions in George Town.

The hotel over all is ok but the deal breaker is the WiFi. It is an open network with no security to protect anything you send over the web. We could not log in our server because it is not a safe web set up. Much better hotel options in the area with the same price range

Lovely place to stay. Walking distance to most attractions. Grab is very inexpensive. Happy hour beer is the best prices anywhere in town. Only downside for me was the bed was hard but the shower was great. Staff were outstanding.

We stayed here for 2 weeks rooms are nicely renovated and hotel is very conveinient situated for shopping and dining out. We did not use public transport because the hotel was central to most places and we just got a Grab and on average we spent 7 ringhit to get to 90 percent of the places we visited, Breakfast a bit ordinary and pool while it was never crowded a bit on the smallish side and very limited seating they can put more seating and should. plus getting out of the pool for the elderly could be a little difficult as there are no proper steps in place but we managed On the whole great place and I would go back.

The Sunway was okay for a few nights. Older and clean. Showing signs of wear. Nice pool. The front desk, concierge, housekeeping and staff are all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is not great. It does not seem clean and or well managed. I booked this hotel based on other reviews. And the area around the hotel is noisey at night.

The breakfast spread was limited and food is not worth the extra amount we paid! The coffee jar was very dirty and the bread area is not clean too! But I have to give credit to the front desk staff and all others working there, they are super helpful and helpful!
