El hotel muy bonito Tenía terraza con vista a la calle. Lo único malo es que no hay elevador. Pero en lo demás todo muy bien. La alberca no la usamos porque el clima NO lo permitió había lluvia. Pero muy céntrico. Recomendable.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, very close to everything. Property is beautiful and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. You should be aware of the street noise though. We slept with a sound machine which made it no problem. Location was worth the trade off. Double shutters to balcony door blocked out all natural light during the day, so it's all all or nothing situation. We kept them closed all the time to avoid letting bugs in. Also, there is no elevator, but the staff was happy to carry luggage upstairs for us. Valet was not always available, so we sometimes had to walk to/from the parking lot a few blocks away. I'm providing this feedback just to help future guests be prepared. I would still recommend this hotel when staying in Merida.

Rooms that faced the street were awfully noisy, and we could not sleep. On the other hand, we used the valet parking. One day, we couldn't use our car because the valet was not in the hotel and couldn't tell us when he would return. The next day, when we were leaving, they couldn't get the car keys (since they were in the security box and didn't have the keys for the security box). We had a very tight schedule since we were leaving for the airport and needed to return the rented car. They refused to call a locksmith because they couldn't pay for it. After 40 min of looking, they found the keys, and we could leave, but we almost lost our flight. Our stay at this hotel was miserable, a terrible experience.

La habitación muy pequeña, cama queen. El baño pequeñísimo, no hay donde dejar tus cosas personales. El estacionamiento está a tres cuadras y no hay valet parking y además te cobran 200 pesos extra. No hay elevador, así que te toca cargar tus maletas, para el precio que manejan arriba de 3500 pesos no lo vale.

Excellent location. All within walking distances. But nothing else makes it worth the high price. The place is in need of great repairs everywhere. I know that an old building has a charm and is expected to see "age" on everything but the repairs and upgrades made are not made by professionals. I saw that while we stayed: paint job of the main entrance made by average people not paying attention to guests. Rooms are really small, even when I paid for a VIP room. The bathroom was very uncomfortable since we had no leg room. Shutters hard to open and close. Coffee maker had bugs inside, good thing thay had no coffee to brew. But the staff was friendly.

Friendly staff, location is good and property is clean, though there were times no one was at the front desk for extended periods. Some amenities (e.g., shampoo) were missing, and the water shut off twice while I was there (I was told it wasn't just that hotel that was affected however) which meant I couldn't take a shower. Nevertheless, overall good experience.

We were greeted with a big smile at check in with a sincere happiness professionalism by Hansel and Ingrid they show us to the room beautiful room very cleaned and trust me when I say clean I check everything. Breakfast man and cleaning staff so friendly. Restaurant night life bars shopping just steps away from the hotel perfect location in Merida super safe . Very quiet hotel even if it’s on the busy street.

Das Hotel ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen aber hat sehr viel Charme. Die Lage ist hervorragend, gleich im Zentrum alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Vom kleinen Balkon aus kann man wunderbar das Leben in der Straße beobachten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gerâumig, sehr hoch was dem Klima gut tut. Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig und wird frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Parking ist ca 100m entfernt, vor dem Hoteleingang kann man das Mietauto auch Mal stehen lassen um in Ruhe ein und auszuchecken. Wir liebten den Aufenthalt - könne das Hotel sehr empfehlen Vielen lieben Dank

Very good experience - nice city hotel with friendly team. You get a nice view of the cathedral from the outside bar. The hotel were very responsive to our restaurant recommendation requests and organised us a private driver for a tour who we loved and was very affordable. The room and bathroom was small but fine if you’re out and about and everything was clean and comfy. Great location!

Hotel situato in pieno centro di Merida. Palazzo non di recente ristrutturazione con quale scelta di design azzeccata. Avrebbe bisogno di un restauro intelligente con un occhio che guardi alla sostenibilità e insonorizzazione. Le camere sulla strada sono molto rumorose. Le camere interne non hanno finestre. Le cucine dell’hotel non hanno un impianto di filtraggio dell’aria efficiente, potreste avere i fumi della cucina in camera.

I paid extra for the presidential suite for the tub, and on the first night there was no hot water for a bath or a shower. The TV was not functional, and there were noisy guests outside my room at 2-3 AM. The hotel is already on a busy street and has city/street noise but waking up in the middle of the night to the people being loud with no consideration of other guests made it impossible to get a full night’s sleep. Overall it was a beautiful hotel but clearly outdated with its plumbing and infrastructure. Only AC units no central AC, and no hot water is very disappointing for the price that I paid for this boutique hotel.

Teniamos problema con el ventilador que no funcionaba y mantenimiento me comentó que era yo que no sabía, le pedí por favor si podía revisarlo y me comentó que no! Al final del día vino la Recepcionista y muy amablemente nos ayudó a cambiarnos de habitación al comprobar que realmente el problema no era yo si no el ventilador.

Friendly staff, location is good and property is clean, though there were times no one was at the front desk for extended periods. Some amenities (e.g., shampoo) were missing, and the water shut off twice while I was there (I was told it wasn't just that hotel that was affected however) which meant I couldn't take a shower. Nevertheless, overall good experience.

The hotel was very pretty and convenient from downtown. It was hard for older people. Didn't have an elevator and no one could speak any English. Food was okay. Very limited choices of food on the menu.

I had a bad experience with this property. The main reason was that the rooms on the side of the street have a lot of sound of construction (which continues into the night) or general sound street later on, to the point where it's hard to sleep. The room does not have a safe. My main concern was with the valet parking. One day, we were unable to use the car since the person in charge of it was not around, so we had to spend a significant amount in taxis to make up for it. On the day of check-out, the hotel staff had placed our car key in a safe, and could not find the key to the safe. They were unwilling to call a locksmith, which they should have done at their expense since this was their mistake. We ended up leaving over 40 minutes later than we wanted due to this, until they finally found the key. Other than that, the decor is nice, the hotel is clean, and the restaurant is good (but overall I would recommend against staying in this hotel).

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, very close to everything. Property is beautiful and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. You should be aware of the street noise though. We slept with a sound machine which made it no problem. Location was worth the trade off. Double shutters to balcony door blocked out all natural light during the day, so it's all all or nothing situation. We kept them closed all the time to avoid letting bugs in. Also, there is no elevator, but the staff was happy to carry luggage upstairs for us. Valet was not always available, so we sometimes had to walk to/from the parking lot a few blocks away. I'm providing this feedback just to help future guests be prepared. I would still recommend this hotel when staying in Merida.

Vom kleinen Balkon aus kann man wunderbar das Leben in der Straße beobachten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gerâumig, sehr hoch was dem Klima gut tut. Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig und wird frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Parking ist ca 100m entfernt, vor dem Hoteleingang kann man das Mietauto auch Mal stehen lassen um in Ruhe ein und auszuchecken. Lugar é bem central, fica perto de tudo. Atendimento excelente pela equipe. O cardápio de almoço e jantar achei muito simples, poucas opções, no dia que fui jantar não tinha pizza, mas serviram na mesa ao lado..... O café da manhã incluido (continental) foi muito fraco, esperava mais. O quarto excelente, confortável, mas eles tem acesso direto ao bar do hotel e se tiver alguma festa ou reunião fica com muito barulho.

Pésima experiencia! Lejos de ser un hotel boutique. Demasiado ruido, sin elevador, sin ac en las áreas generales, el menú y room service muy pobre. No es recomendable irte por recomendaciones pésima opción .

The main strength of Piedra de Agua is its staff. Yes-the building is lovely, classic, a great blend of old and new and the amenities were great from the soaps to the linens to the towels. But the best part of the stay was the attitude of and the treatment by the incredible staff. Daniel made us feel like family and seems to have trained the staff very well. Melanie, Jessica?, Hansen, and Oliver in Maintenance were friendly, engaging and super helpful. We look forward to our next visit to Merida and our next stay at Piedra de Agua. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
