Royal hotel was priced slightly cheaper Rahman other hotels but shows in small ways. The pillows were lumpy and were not comfortable at all. The air conditioning was a loud as a car revving its engine. Only one elevator, but if there are more then staff did not mention to me. It was a decent location to the airport.

Large room. Nice bed. Good pillows. Love the Dove shampoo & conditioner. Hot breakfast. Lots of parking

The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The gym was well stocked.

Average Place. Economic at times. Breakfast is limited options. No Pool.

Basic but clean and comfortable rooms. Gym was okay, some cardio equipment and free weights. Breakfast was lacking, like the reviews say. Hot food options were hotel scrambled eggs, uncooked deli ham slices and potatoes. Good value for the price. Area was easy to get in and out of and close to the airport. Downtown was about 15 minutes by car.

Great hotel for the price, tasty breakfast the only thing missing is a pool and hot tub!!

All the vending machine was broken .we couldnt get drunks from it. We had to get water from the gym area. Conditoner dispenser was also not working. It sems like they are not paying attention to the pther stuff in the hotel. The stuff was not friendly. Thw brakfast was not freah as the buffet was also closed and they had to give us food by packages which is not freah and not buffet. They said because of the weather thats why the buffet breakfast restaurant is cloaed.so disappointing

Breakfast is always good. Seems to be problems with the elevator every time I stay.

The location was okay, lots of lighting at night for the parking lot. We arrived and after check-in were directed to where the elevator(s) were and took the first elevator up to the 5th floor. Unbeknownst to us, there was a 2nd elevator another 100 or so feet down the hallway....would have been nice to know. Also, drink vending machines were out of order on the first floor and the 5th floor and a water-dispenser was only available in the fitness center. All minor inconveniences but noticeable ones. These are the only reasons I can't give it 5 stars...

Very noisy at night. They make a big deal about wrapped silverware but when you open it up it is dirty. Garbage in hallways. Room floor not clean. Towels with mystery smudges. Made to feel over the three days like an inconvenience rather than valued customer. Poor selection at breakfast over the three day stay even though there early. Parking lot feels unsafe to walk in.

Rooms that were provided to us was unclean, which resulted in us being sent to another room which was also unclean again, with proof of pictures. Sheets that were being replaced found to be also unclean by the housekeeper changing our bed sheets. That is 3 times in a row that showed the uncleanliness of the hotel. Hotel staff failed to provide us the service we thought we deserve by requesting a refund or cancelation of our stay, due to the lack of presence of a ‘Higher Authority ( Manager) for 2 days we stayed at the hotel. I also expected Expedia to help resolve this matter but seems to have failed. By the looks of it so far, looks like we will be being charged the full amount after all the inconvenience the hotel has caused us during our 2 night stay.

We stayed for 3 days, and all days we didn’t have our room cleaned or new towels. We did keep our room decently clean, but would have been nice if they came at least one of the days we stayed. Because of this we had to call front desk to let them know so we could at least have a couple new towels. We also ran out of tissue, and almost ran out of toilet paper, good thing there was two or else we would have been completely out. It was an okay experience, but I don’t think we’ll be staying here again when visiting Calgary.

Rooms are clean and staff is very nice

The continental breakfast was very simple. The room itself was not very clean and the one receptionist was very clearly on a personal call - luckily, a different receptionist was available to come check us in.

The room was on first floor, with a window to parking. At night there was noise from people that were passing there. The refrigerator was also very noisy. No vent or a window in the toilet. Very old air conditioner that was also noisy. The rest was clean and average

Glad I chose this hotel! Check in was a breeze Room was very clean and spacious Food at the lounge was very good No USB ports in the room and very few, inconvenient plud ins (nothing beside the bed)

Rooms were okay, the bed was very soft which was nice until 2 people where in the bed then it slumped right to the middle.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. I appreciate that it had a fridge and coffeemaker. I also enjoyed the included breakfast buffet. A good variety of hot items and was always well stocked. The only con was our room wasn't ready when we tried to check in an hour early.

No water bottles in the room and there was a huge bug in the washroom , informed front staff they cleared it but still it wasn’t a good experience , two sockets for not working .

Everything was clean but my mini fridge was warm and the staff were unwilling to fix it. I also asked for a quiet room and was woken up several times by noise from the room above mine. Very poor insulation. Also, the sheets were dry and scratchy.

The sink for hand and face wash in the wash room was completely not functioning. So the second day we asked the receptionist to look for solution and then we moved to another room.

Overall, it was a lovely stay, the rooms are spacious, breakfast was amazing served with real cutlery and plates to save environment. Not only is it environmentally friendly, it also looks luxurious. Wonderful service!

The room was surprisingly quiet for being a pet friendly room - usually we are put in the least desirable room because we bring our pup. but this room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - and quiet despite being right beside the elevator.

The view was terrible.. big window to look at the rooftop mechanical and a/c units

Stay Away if you can. Staff are rude and unprofessional. Ines, the front desk staff, was not only incredibly rude, but also dishonest—she tried to pass off her manager as the “owner” just to silence us. Classy. They insisted our 14-year-old daughter is an adult and demanded extra payment—something we’ve never been charged for in nearly a decade of regular bookings through Expedia. Apparently loyalty means nothing here. The staff’s attitude? Unwelcoming. The service? Appalling. The experience? A complete embarrassment to the hospitality industry.

Breakfast was a nice option. The check in staff and check out staff were not friendly at all. I felt like i inconvienced them. It happened at check in and check out with the same person. Paying $30 to check in early wasn't necessary as my room was ready. Seems greedy !!!

This is a good hotel. Room is very clean and breakfast area is also very clean and organized. Food is very good. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay. But we had a very bad experience with the front desk. We tried to call them for a couple of days to let them know that we will be checking in late. Unfortunately the staff would pick up and hang up the phone. It happened more than 10 times, only in the morning time. It is very unprofessional and disrespectful to hang up the call. It effects the hotel reputation as well. I hope this will resolve and will never happen to other people.

Great stay, great staff would definitely stay again

The stay was ok, the beds were comfortable and rooms seem to be updated. Housekeeping experience was awful, no one at the front desk answers the phones. Housekeeping only made one bed and didn’t refill toilet paper or towels for a 3 night stay with a full room. Had to go down and wait in a long lineup to ask for more and took a few hours after that. They also were going to charge me more for my room, had to go twice to get the right price. Constant long lines to check in or talk to anyone at the hotel. Extremely long lines for breakfast, lots of options but food wasn’t fresh and quality wasn’t great. (Ex. Ham was lunch meat…)

Stood in for over 20 mins. Score I could check in with only 2 people in front of me. Clerk at the desk wasn’t very friendly, other patrons also seemed annoyed with her. Room was clean, beds and pillow comfortable. Not really near anything interesting to walk to. Hôtel was good, staff not so much

We had an amazing experience from booking to check out. Great amenities, Excellent customer service from EJ and all the restaurant staffs. Easy to contact, safe parking and most of all we enjoyed our stay without worrying about anything! Good Job! You deserved more than 5 stars!

We called for an early check-in. I got hung up on once, called back not a big deal provide a reservation number because they couldn’t find it with my name after spelling it out quite a few times. Very generic last name mind you. We stated we could check in early cause our room was ready and I mentioned that we would be there by two, but if it wasn’t not a big deal cause we can just go shopping. Anyways we pull up. It’s like 210. Get out of the car and went to check in. The lady at the counter said, oh yeah, your room is ready as well but then she’s like but it’ll be $20 to check in. I said oh I didn’t realize that the other lady didn’t mention anything on the phone. Then she proceeded to rip off my face and said to pay the $20 or wait till three. I went out to the car and talked to my husband and I ended up sitting in the car because I was just like I’m not going back in there cause I’m gonna not be nice as well. Other than that, though we got in after waiting for someone else at the counter, she was fine and checked us in, then went up an elevator which takes you to the different wing. You have to go east or west, so just a tip. The breakfast buffet and staff were all amazing. That I say top notch. Beds were clean, but the shower needed fixing literally hard to turn on, then had to have my husband close it for me and the kids or it would port out water still, floors had a pile of dust bunnies in a few corners. Overall, to have a quick sleep and breakfast then ok choice.

Property was okay,however checking in there was a line up and one person behind the counter was too busy playing on her phone

Sauberes und insgesamt gut gelegenes Hotel in Calgary. Sowohl Downtown, der Zoo als auch der Airport sind gut erreichbar. Schönes Frühstück mit echtem Besteck und Tellern und das ganze mit sehr gutem Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Parken kostenlos und absolut unkompliziert.

Nice hotel near airport

It is a very nice hotel. I appreciate that they had a restaurant in the hotel so we did not need to go out. It was close to the airport, which was nice.

Great staff. Safe parking around the hotel. Near amenities. Easy access to most highways.

Although it was nice, it was in an industrial area, had to drive everywhere.

The breakfast buffet offered a nice basic selection of food. Lots of free parking on-site. Located just south of Calgary Airport, with a nearby shopping centre, supermarket and several fast-food places. J.W.

There were lots of restaurants near by the property made it easier to have multiple dining options. The hotel itself was clean and nice!

your breakfast continues to decline. WHY? you had one of the best breakfast offering, 1/4 package bacon 1.25, 2 eggs made (not scrambled) 60 cents, 2 pieces bread 50 cents, real not packaged potatoes 50 cents, total cost $2,85 the eggs you served were tasteless and cold. Ham you could see through it, no pancakes, potatoes from frozen package. WHY, when you have a real kitchen and a real chef.

Dont like their system of serving the breakfast. Why they dont allow getting food and eat at your own room. And if you dont have the voucher, you cant eat breakfast.!

Rooms very clean. Staff was friendly. The breakfast could use different choices. Stayed a week and the only thing that changes was ham to sausage. Powder juices. Not allowed to have a glass of milk. Milk was for cereal or tea and coffee only.

breakfast buffet food was served teribble, sausage was hard and taste old. scrambled eggs was bland and egg whites only. not much option. staff told we should pat extra for additional guest. no worth the food. we should go eat at fastfood chain better than their breakfast buffet.

Overall it was a good experience. The food in the lounge was awful though. Workout area was very nice.

They had a very good complimentary breakfast however the line up to get into the dinning room took us 15 minutes to get in and we stood in line for another 10 minutes to get through the buffet.
