Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre Calgary Airport

Booked this airport shuttle because it advertised a free airport shuttle service included with the room. Upon checking in and trying to book said shuttle service, was told it does not operate on holidays. Asked where this policy was stated and was told it is not shown anywhere, they just verbally tell you when you get there. Defeated the whole purpose of booking this hotel in the first place. Asked what we should do and how they could help, was told to just book an Uber and deal with it ourselves. Very disappointed in the staff and false advertising of a free shuttle.

The Hotel is very nice and clean. Check in was slow but they were having technical difficulties so not their fault. Room spacious and bed comfortable. If you are a family booking this hotel hoping to use the pool DONT!! they rent the pool for swimming lessons and so more then half the pool isn't available. Both times we went down to swim we had this problem. Our kids pretty much had to play at the bottom of the slide. Plus to get out you have to walk through the swim lessons to get to the stairs...kinda awkward and I could tell the instructors were annoyed. So do not book this hotel based on the fact it has a pool. They should really advertise this because it would have changed my choice in hotel. Other than the pool issues I think the hotel was nice.

Great room and comfortable beds. Not a fan that they had swim lessons in the hotel pool. Pushed everyone else into a quarter of the pool. We mainly came to let our kids swim and it sucked that it was limited, especially when you pay so much money to stay.

Confortable room, nice service. I enjoy the sauna, hot tub and pool

Same standards that i have come to expect at this location. I love the pool, sauna & hot tub at this hotel, the food and the bar. Its a shame the road getting to it and its surroundings are less so impressive.

Overall the room was clean and modern - the pool was quite dirty though and hot tub. Lots of sand/dirt in pool and hot tub. Staff was friendly.

Website says laundry which usually means clients can do laundry in pay machines. But they mean that the staff will dry clean your clothes the next day. Not helpful if you’re only staying one night. We had to drive 3 miles and the laundromat was horrible and filthy!! Went to swim in the pool the next morning and found half of it was sectioned off for swim lessons until 2 pm. The other half was full of kids using the slide. No microwave unless you asked for it!! Really surprised at this quality from a Radisson!!

Exceeded expectations. Spacious & well lit room, beautiful lobby and pool with waterslide, hot tub and sauna. Excellent guest experience. Enjoyed the fluffy bath sheets and heated tile floor in the bathroom. Had a mini fridge but no microwave. Would have liked windows to open for fresh air, and for a fan in the bathroom, but instead we turned on the blowdryer to reduce the post-shower steam. Outdoor landscaping is a work-in-progress. Overall, safe, comfortable and close proximity to the airport.

Very disappointing for a Radisson. The lobby floors and carpets were very stained and dirty. One elevator was out of order and the other really needed a serious clean. The carpet in the room was old and very stained. Some of furniture was obviously fixed/cobbled together with mismatched pieces. Temperamental/unreliable toilet. Do not recommend.

Our room had no heat, the light above the shower was leaking and counters were so stained that they looked unclean, so they moved us to a room across the hall and the carpet was so dirty and disgusting looking. Will never stay here again!

Clean room, friendly staff

This is an excellent hotel for the price . Clean rooms, clean pool , very good !

It is super clean

Main entrance to the hotel is not obvious from the road. Elevator smelled like stale beer, room wasn’t great (dirty walls, hair in the shower, unknown substance on mirror). The temperature was also set to heat (in the summer) so the room was so hot even when the thermostat was adjusted. At least the floor and bed were clean and the staff at the desk were nice when checking in.

Blood on the sheets. Dirt on the other bed. Counters looked horrible. Switched to a new room. Sheets had spots on them. Toilet did not work. Moved to another room after that!

Dust was not wiped inside. Table was not cleaned.

They blamed Expedia, but I have no idea who was to blame, but they couldn't find my reservation. They managed to get me a room, but it took ages. Then the pool didn't ever seem to have towels. To top it off, there was a condom wrapper in the floor of the room. Not impressed.

Second time at this property. This time got a view of the scrap yard which was disappointing. Train into Calgary very good which is about 10 mins walk from the hotel.

Was put near pool, very loud.. should try sound proofing a bit.. could hear EVERYTHING in the hallway/ EVERY conversation all night. Check in and out was easy (busy but that’s because one lady was working alone)

The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was extremely quiet! It was very spacious.

The only real thing I'd like to see improved one day is a slightly bigger TV. Everything else was great.

Nice large room

Negatives: Air vent sounds like a very loud vacuum cleaner. I had to turn off the thermostat and sweat all night. Water flow in the sink is little more than a trickle. Positives: room is large and clean. Lloyd who was running the bar provided excellent service. Wings were excellent. Could be a 5 star if flaws are fixed.

I stayed on the second floor, and unfortunately, the corridor was quite noisy in the evening. I could even hear someone snoring around 5 a.m. Thankfully, I was checking out that morning, so it didn’t affect me too much.

The hotel was in a great location. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean. That said, it felt a bit tired and could use some refreshing. The closet had a strange smell, and the water had an odd odor in the shower. I had issues with the internet while working remotely, and the front desk didn’t follow up as promised. I went down to inquire was told the issue was with my laptop, although I later had no problems connecting at a nearby coffee shop. Also, the room really needs a safe and a clock.

The room was fine overall but the A/C unit was pretty loud.

i left many messages in app and email, no one answered. so i have to ask to app agent. finally they answered but the staff does not willing to help, i didn’t had local sim card that cannot call for shuttle bus, as the shuttle bus service provided when phone to hotel. the staff has no reply again! actually the calgary airport provided free phone service that i find it on the airport website! i really wonder am i the only one who did not had local phone?why they don’t have solution about that ? why they don’t know about free phone service provide by the airport?

Our overall experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially regarding the bathrooms—the shower didn’t work well, and the water pressure was quite low, and flow was slow. Service and staff responsiveness could also be better. We had requested an early check-in at the time of booking, and when we called ahead, we were told we could check in at 11 a.m. and that our room would be ready. However, when we arrived at 12:40 p.m., the room still wasn’t prepared. We were asked to wait another 20 minutes, and 30 minutes later, we were told to wait another 10 minutes before being given a different room instead.

The man at the front desk was super kind and upgraded our room to a King free of charge so that was lovely. The shuttle was perfect. We only slept there for a few hours before our flight but it was a great experience!

The hotel advertised airport shuttle which was the reason I booked this hotel. I called for an airport pick up at 8:25 and was informed that the next shuttle would not leave the hotel until 9:00 to arrive at the airport at 9:10 and that the shuttles only leave once every hour. Nowhere was this advertised on the hotel’s Expedia page. This is completely unacceptable to have to wait almost an hour for a shuttle. I was placed on hold and hanged up on. I called back and asked to speak to a manager I was told that there were no managers. Horrible customer service and terrible experience with the Radisson brand.

Our first room there was an issue with the mattress. I called the front desk and she was more than happy to put us in a new room. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was very clean and really nice.

I would say it was one of the best hotel I stayed at. We extended our stay but unfortunately I am NOT happy with only one hard working lady in the receptionist in the morning. There was an older caucasian men who just stand there and doing nothing. I was standing at the front desk, he wont greet me nor help me out while the lady receptionist is busy helping the guest. And when she finally helped me, then all of the sudden the old men talking and greeting the other guest! I felt discriminated!!! It happened three times! When I checked-in first time, Extended our stay, and when we check-out! We just walked out pissed of. We had an amazing time and everything was wonderful until you encounter a person who will ruin your experience and seem he does not want to work. He will be better to work at night and guard the main door standing doing nothing! He just ruined everything!!!

I booked something last minute near the airport as I had a long layover. Before booking, however, I contacted the hotel to make sure I could get an early check in for 1 o’clock. The man I spoke to basically told me he could guarantee to get me in a room by 1PM, but to make the reservation first and then call back so they could put a note on my file. I made sure it was okay I made this booking through Expedia, which he said was fine. When I called back to have the note put on the file, he couldn’t see my reservation yet, but said to call back in a little bit. When I called back, I spoke to a woman who would not let me speak, and kept cutting me off very time I tried to speak. She basically said she couldn’t guarantee an early check in and still couldn’t see my reservation. Our conversation finished, and I ended up calling back to ask another question, only for her to pick up the phone, and hang up on me. This lady was very rude. Fast forward to check in day, I was able to get in at 1 like they said which was great. We get to our room to relax, and luckily we were there just to get some sleep. The counter in the bathroom felt grimy, you could see stains on the tables next to the bed as if there were sticky cans left there for days. I ended up taking a Lysol wipe and wiping down the surfaces. We ended up getting something to quick and laid down to nap. But were woken up not once, but twice by the staff. Never again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. We needed some utensils that did not come with our delivery meal. Tried a few times to call front desk with no answer. My husband went down to the front desk to find two employees chatting while the phone rang non stop in the background. He went straight to the restaurant and grabbed some utensils to take up to the room. No one stopped him or talked to him. Very poor customer service.

View of apocalyptic wrecking yard, very unappealing! The middle of nowhere. Good for a quick transfer to the airport. Poor Lylod in the lounge trying to make drinks and serve over 50 people. Ridiculous! Would not recommend.

Clean and large rooms. 10min walk from the train station and free transfers to the airport.

Overall good hotel as its close to the airport and pretty clean and new on the inside. Still developing area, not much around it

Great hotel. Beds are comfortable and the hotel is decorated nicely. We didn’t use the pool or work out room but they both looked really nice. We dined at the restaurant and it was very good. We would definitely go back!

Room was good with nice beds. Restaurant was very tasty and service was quick and efficient.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The lounge restaurant was amazing with friendly staff and lots of good food in the buffet. Will definitely stay here again.

Fine experience - they were very unclear about the continental breakfast and let me in, but then got quite upset when they realized it wasn't a part of my package and made me pay $15 for a piece of toast. I hear it was in part my fault for not realizing, but no one checked and they failed to check. The room was ok - very standard. Also a lot of people at the hotel for a wedding that blocked the front door / entrance... would be useful for them to do those events in a more removed location as I kept bumping into the guests when I was trying to print some documents and make it to the shuttle in time.

Room was dirty, 1 milk and 1 sugar for coffee, room service was absolutely horrible, swimming lessons from 4-8 (upwards of 20 people in small pool) could barely swim. Ridiculous for the 180 I paid for my room.

Very friendly staff, Clean rooms, great steak dinner at their restaurant and great value for their continental breakfast ($16).

Shuttle from the airport never did show up. The hotel kept putting me on hold, then hanging up. Ended up taking a cab. The breakfast was cold and did not taste good. Overall was very disappointed with my stay.
