Was very happy with the overall property (especially after reading multiple mixed reviews). Would stay again. Washing machines were so helpful to have- most out of order, would recommend fixing as it is a huge bonus for guests. Only one elevator for a hotel this size is a definite downsize and design flaw but we had no major issues.

Staff were wonderful the rooms were clean. The only complaint I have and the reason I won’t be back is the pool and hot tub were both very cold. The pool was so cold you couldn’t be in it. We stayed 3 nights and let the staff know. The pool was empty all the time because it was so cold.

This hotel is PERFECT for families. It's about a 15-20 min drive from the airport. It's VERY clean, was quiet and felt safe. Loved that breakfast was included, free laundry, gym and pool. Our suite had a kitchenette which was great for preparing snacks and light lunches for allday

Main issue with property was the pool and hot tub area. Pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was barely warm. We were told multiple times that it would be fixed until our last night we were told that it was an issue with the boiler and a sign was placed at the front desk advising it was out of order. We requested to speak with the hotel manager about this issue along with other inconveniences we experienced and they would not return our calls. Ongoing renovations to the main lobby area are generally fine, however the contractors do not clean their scrap materials leaving sharp tripping hazards around the property. All exits to the courtyards have signs saying "do not use", though staff will tell you to ignore these signs and go to the area anyway.

Our stay was ok. The suite we had was good but the bathroom location was awkward and very tight to pass one of the beds. Super disappointed that the pool was not an available when we checked in. Very disappointed that hot tub was not open :(

It was a great stay but a bad start. Despite my numerous messages about the shuttle and arrival details as we were arriving at 1 AM , we were the only ones at the airport by 2 AM.and had to book an uber costing us additional $25. They don’t actually have a shuttle service but will book a taxi when you call .Would it be nice to respond with that simple info I was asking that would have helped me decide on which hotel to book because of our arrival time. Thank you

The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful but I think the communication between staff was poor. The rooms and hotel is run down and could use a better cleaning (our room was especially smelly not sure if it could come out with just a good clean, I think it was in the furniture/walls). I am sure it was just a mistake or overlook because they were busy but one of our beds sheets, duvets, etc was not changed and smelled of the last person who slept there. Unfortunately, we didn't realize until we were getting into bed at 1030pm but when I called down they didn't have enough extra bedding. That was definitely very frustrating to deal with. We managed by turning up the heat and sleeping with a sheet.

The hotel was decent enough for a few night stay. The hallways had a horrible smell by our room. Our bathroom had no fan and was very humid after showering. Likely due to this over long-term, there was mild on the ceiling in there. The hot tub was closed throughout our stay and there was a sign on the door from public health ordering the closure which was a bit concerning for us. When asked we were told it was closed while awaiting for a part to come for repair.

Good place to stay, downside was the air conditioner in the one section of our room wasn't working - went to the front desk about this 3 times, issue was never resolved. Kids didn't sleep well at 22.5 inside temperature. Hotel itself was good - friendly and hospitable staff and a good breakfast included, pool with waterslide was fun for the kids.

We planned to stay 6 nights but the queen size beds had very soft and non-supportive mattresses. I didn't sleep as my bsck needs extra support and thus we had to leave to go elsewhere in Calgary. We were informed that all Staybridge Suites would have the same mattress. Good to know especially if one needs a firm supportive mattress. Otherwise the hotel was alright.

The family room was amazing. Loved having 2 bathrooms as well as a kitchen. Very spacious. Only thing is the bed was super soft and very worn in. Not very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We arrived super late due to canceled flights and multiple delays. We were unable to get our rental car because the car rental was closed. The hotel paid for a cab voucher for us both ways and offered us a late check out. It was so incredibly helpful after almost 24 hours of travel.

We came to Calgary for my daughters birthday, and booked this hotel for the waterside. When we got to the pool the waterslide was out of order which nobody infomed us about. My daughters were very disappointed. Then the hot tub completely runined our bathing suits, bleached all the color completely out of them. I have reached out to the hotel and was told someone would get back to me within 48 hours and that was almost a week ago. Horrible customer service. Would definitely not go back or stay at the hotel brand again.

Maybe the best check in experience I've had. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The room was beautiful, clean and had everything. We asked for ice and they brought it immediately. I left my car as a Park and Fly - so easy. The shuttle to the airport was a pre-paid taxi - couldn't ask for more. He was there 10 minutes early, they called the room to let us know. Coming back, I took a cab from the airport and he went in and got his voucher, no trouble. So easy. Thank you!

Food was great as was the room and check in and out. One complaint was that it was around 9:30am so we still had lots of time to check out and one cleaning lady knocked and then used her key cars to get into the room without waiting for a response. My dad was not pleased to get walked in on. She was embarrassed and apologized but communication about what rooms are ready to be cleaned should be more efficient. Otherwise, the stay was great.

Was a good stay. Unfortunately our vehicle was broken Into and some things were stolen on the last night of our stay. There were a few homeless people hanging around which made it feel a bit unsafe as I witnessed fights etc. We had to leave a day early due to unforseen circumstances and was told we would be reimbursed for the day we wouldn't be staying but never received the refund. Our favorite part of our stay was the staff at breakfast always had a smile and good mornings exchanged. Our room was decent, a lot of wear and tear but overall I was very impressed with this establishment.

This hotel was fantastic, and great if you want to be close to the airport. You're only about a 10-15 minute drive from downtown, and with a family you have plenty of space. Comfortable, clean, and the quality you want from an IHG hotel.

Hotel is conveniently located next to Barlow Trail, close to Sunridge Mall and about 2 kms south of YYC Airport. Lots of restaurants to choose from. My personal favourite is the “Garden of Italy”. Yumm. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The Hotel is fresh, clean and quiet. Reasonably priced. 👍👍

We had 2 suites for 5adults and 2 children and they suited us very well. Very clean and comfortable. We had issues with noise in the room above us and it was dealt with promptly. The group really enjoyed the pool and great slide. Our only complaint would be that breakfast was not served early enough to accommodate those catching early flights. It did not open until 7:30 am and most other hotels we've stayed at start serving at 6 am. We were not able to enjoy that perk. We did use the shuttle service and that was a nice amenity. Though under renovation it did not affect our stay.
