Oh my gosh, we had the best night here! We just stayed one night and unfortunately got in super late because our flight was delayed but I was able to update our estimated arrival Time easily with the Marriott bonvoy app. The best was the MOST comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel EVER. The gym was also incredible!! Lots of new high quality machines and even theraguns! After the gym, we used the rooftop pool and sauna which was STUNNING and we had it all to ourselves. The signature white tea scented items in the hotel were lovely as well. We did not want to leave!

The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was way too small, but very clean. The shower was so small you hit the soap holders trying to shower, and your knees hit the wall while using the toilet. The staff were amazing. The parking was easy, not free. The sauna was wonderful. They need to improve the pool. It was cold and not useable. there were 7 other people at the pool when I went all had the same complaint. The pool and area was very clean.

Carpet on the hallway was filthy (7th floor), the room didn’t feel that clean either, water marks from glasses or bottles on surfaces, hair on the bed. Maybe the worst was that they leave homeless people walk around the hotel, including elevators. Not worth the money that they charge.

What I did like was the Starbucks. We found the hotel dirty. Our room for starts was very dusty. Mold under the shower hand rails. I was going to unplug the shower drain for them, I do not like showering un clear drain. So I bathed and seen the mold. The shower has no pressure due to not all the water runs through. Half shower half bath out of the spout. I told the front desk about the dust in the room which was very noticeable. Very offered free breakfast buffet for 4, which was a very nice gesture but bill me anyways. we wouldn't have even gone for buffet. felt ripped off. I have stayed at most of the high end Hotels downtown, expect this one and I know now I will not be coming back. Plus walk along the Kegs front windows and see if you would eat there. A lot of dirt there, we were pretty disgusted.

The location is great. Close to so many restaurants and to prince’s island park. Stephens ave is just a few blocks away. I’m disappointed in the cleanliness- the first room we checked into had dried pee on the toilet seat which makes me question how much they actually clean the room between guests. We were immediately moved to a second room and it was smaller than the first, but we just took it. It looked clean but I still have the ick from the first room. The hallways have a little bit of an old cigarette stench in them which I also am not crazy about. This is my first time staying at the westin in Calgary and will likely be the last time…

Great location. Great service. But for the price the rooms are tiny. Shower is small and just everything about the hotel could use some major renovation for size and mobility of rooms. Entrance is cramped as you walk into the room. For the price I have stayed in way nicer rooms for much less.

We enjoy Westin Hotels. We have stayed at Westin's many times over the years, Calgary, Toronto, Palm Desert etc. What we didn't quite like on our recent stay in Calgary was how small the washroom facilities were in our room. No real room to turn around, standup shower and a toilet obviously designed for a child.

In Calgary for a wedding. Our kids were in a nearby hotel and were evacuated 3 times with a fire alarm. Grandkids were scared so came to The Westin. Manager brought cot into our room in the early hours. Thanks Westin.

Check in staff were uninformed. Didn’t discuss parking with us, didn’t discuss complimentary breakfast, didn’t ask if we wanted valet parking. Didn’t provide us with a code for the parkade, in fact we had to go back to the front desk to ask for a code in order to gain access to the parkade. She didn’t register our vehicle, so when we left, there was a $95.00 violation ticket on our windshield. The room was very small, there was rust in the shower and I could hardly move the bathroom door to close it because it was so heavy. The toilet stood at least 8” away from the wall which made an already ridiculously small room even smaller. This hotel has declined since our last stay and I would not go back.

We've stayed at the westin many times before. Although this time we were met with unfriendly staff, poor cleanliness of our room. I hsd my 3 small daughters with me, upon check in we weren't informed of what elevator to take (we took the main one as we did previous times before) before realizing the room number we were looking for wasnt coming up, we stepped out of the elevator to a staff in the hallway and i politely asked if she could direct me to help me find my room (had luggage & 3 small children trailing behind me tired) and she said with annoyance & frustration towards me to go DOWN to the lobby and take the OTHER elevator, me not really hearing her, as she walked away from me while talking further down the hallway, i stood there kind of dumbfounded and she let out a loud sigh and said TAKE THE OTHER ELEVATOR. We paid upwards of $400 for our one night stay, had dirty towels and hair in the shower, and met with pretty unfriendly staff. Pretty disappointed with our experience.

I travel frequently for work, and out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, this one has stood out as the best in terms of customer service. Every touchpoint with staff was exceptional — they consistently went above and beyond, always friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring. Bravo to the management and team for maintaining such a positive and healthy work culture — something that can be difficult to achieve in the hospitality industry. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the choice of pillow firmness and the full duvet cover (instead of the usual two-sheet setup). Truly a wonderful stay from start to finish — I’ll definitely be back!

When I booked I indicated that we needed a cot. My booking was accepted without question. When I checked in, I confirmed that we required a cot and was told it was already set up. When we got to our room there was no cot. I called the front desk and was then told that the room I booked couldn't accomodate a cot. After 20-30mins of back and forth, the front desk informed me that they could upgrade my family to a suite that would accomodate the cot. The suite was lovely and much more space. I'm not sure how it took so long to realize there was an issue with putting a cot in the room we originally booked, but I very much appreciate the solution that the hotel staff was able to provide. The rest of our stay was great.

My kids loved the pool! I loved the location! Walkable to Stephen Ave which was so much fun! Also close to public transportation and a short 15 min walk to the Calgary Tower! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived WAY early and decided to stop in to see if our room was ready and it WAS! It was so nice to be able to unpack and get situated before exploring downtown Calgary!

Even though I booked this hotel with breakfast included, as it was advertised, IT was not free. 4 people for 2 days breakfasts cost an extra $260+.... on top of the hotel charges - that were paid in US dollars, for whatever reasons.

Our room which was 809 was very small. Barely any room to move around. The buffet was very over priced and food was cold and bagels were not fresh. Waffles were not good. Fruit was great. Buffet was out of bread and out of bagels. No water. Very disappointing

We really liked the location, being Keg fans the restaurant in the same building was great. Also like the Starbucks being so convenient. Loved the housekeeping done daily and the accommodating staff. The only negative thing I can say is that I wished it had a microwave in the room.
