The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The underground heated parking was such a plus for the winter, especially when the blizzard happened during my stay, and was easily accessible. Overall a very hood hotel to stay in and all staffs are friendly. I will come again and stay here for the reasonable deal / price.

Great family friendly value with wonderful staff. Excellent choice, especially if travelling with kids. The water park was fun and well managed and there was a decent gym/change rooms & sauna. The buffet breakfast was an excellent option at good value. Would stay again if back in the Calgary area.

The hotel is clean and updated, the rooms are very large and there are multiple variations of setups. The waterpark is organized chaos. You have to book an hour slot for the waterpark between 6-10pm.

Overall the stay was great. We really enjoyed the waterpark. Downfalls: elevators were down 3 times in our 2 day stay and we were on the 6th level with 2 toddlers. So, walking up and down the stairs was a pain in the tush. Just like any other hotel. The pillows are terrible. Really have nothing to them and you need at least 3 to eqauate to 1 normal pillow. Room wasnt filthy by any means but the bathroom couldve used a little more attention. We were also only left 1/2 a roll of toilet paper between 2 rolls with no extra in the room.

Perfect Staycation for family! We recently stayed at this lovely family-friendly hotel and had a fantastic experience! The highlight of our trip was definitely the waterpark, which was a hit with the kids. They had a blast exploring all the slides and pool However, a heads-up for future visitors: from 6 PM to 9 PM, you need to make a reservation to access the waterpark due to capacity limits. We had a bed bug issue that we discovered after our first night, which led to us missing almost a full day of our vacation due to needing to check all our belongings, move rooms, get new clothes/suitcases, and getting our clothes heat treated. After we moved rooms, the housekeeping services were poor (dirty towels taken but not replaced and items not restocked). Our concerns were later addressed and we were fairly compensated though. Nice things that kids liked included the pool and room service food. Location is very convenient for us as well. Might consider staying there again in the future, possibly when the kids are big enough to fully enjoy the bigger pool.

This hotel HAS BED BUGS! We had room 336. Once we were ready for bed, we pulled back the bed sheets ON BOTH BEDS, and there was a bunch of bed bug poop and marks on the sheets all toward the head of the bed. We immediately called and reported it to the front desk and they asked us if we wanted clean sheets. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?- WE WANT A ROOM IN A HOTEL THAT DOESNT HAVE BED BUGS! The front desk staff and manager didn’t seem surprised that we reported bed bugs and they were so nonchalant about it. It makes me think that they KNOW they have a bedbug problem. We requested a refund through Expedia and got a refund and immediately left the hotel, we did not stay the night. We threw away our luggage in case it was now contaminated. I am infuriated that we were put in a position that we could get BED BUGS!!! We immediately laundered all our clothes and sprayed our shoes etc down with insecticide. This was a horrific end to a wonderful trip. This hotel experience RUINED our vacation. The pool is such a joke too- 1hour time limit and they come in with a whistle and a sign and start yelling “Times up!” It’s grossly overcrowded and there are lots of parents not watching their kids and no staff to be seen! This property is dated and dirty and smells musty and like chlorine. Horrendous mosquito problem in the front foyer as well. It would have been cleaner and more pleasant sleeping under a highway overpass in a wet refrigerator box! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE 0/10

Terrific Family friendly hotel. The Pool was the highlight of our stay as we expected it would be. Rooms were clean and well kept. The beds were our only complaint unfortunately, they are very hard and lumpy. fitted sheets are not used but a flat sheet tucked in making for a messy unmade feeling when crawling in for the night. Bedding is very light, had to request extra blankets as you get 1 thin sheet and one very thin blanket. front desk was happy to provide extra bedding. Rooms were well stocked with towels, toiletries and a nice selection of coffee/ tea. Free underground parking is offered when we arrived which was great and made us feel more secure leaving the car parked for the night. Breakfast had great options and something for everyone. well kept and replenished quickly. While not included in the stay they do offer a family deal. 2 adults and 2 kids for $40. real eggs and bacon made up it. price, location and the waterslides definitely make this a top choice for a family getaway. Kids are excited for the next visit here.

Check in was awful. I pre booked and pre paid for the room for one night through Expedia. That was all fine. I called ahead to the hotel on the way there, I spoke with one of the two managers on the phone that was working at the time. I asked about the deposits for the room as we did not have our credit card with us. I wanted to ask if we could pay cash instead for it. He told me yes as long as the manager is on then he will be able to take cash for the damage deposits. I said great. When we got there the lady at the front was nice and went back to get the manager however he kept sending her back to us saying no so I asked to talk to him and he made a scene saying that he told me on the phone no he never talked about cash that he said it was 400$ deposite if we used a debit card for the damage deposits which he never mentioned any debit or 400$ on the phone. We argued back and forth because we would have stopped at the bank before getting all the way there with two kids and my self being pregnant, but instead he argued and made a scene in front of 7 other customers is was embarking and he made extra work for my family which would have been avoided. He would not accept cash, we had to leave get everyone packed back in the car and find a bank then come back. He should have apologized and said he was sorry for not explaining better or completely and I wouldn’t have been so upset to have to leave and go to the bank. But instead he was stubborn called us liars, and made a scene.

Day staff was consistently interrogating me. This was a first. The housekeepers never properly stocked towels, soap, coffee etc. Housekeepers placed our clothes on the ground, and never made the room properly. The bathtub was dirty and not working. The fridge was not working.. garbages weren't emptied.

Everything was clean, the room was nice, the staff were very friendly and willing to help. The front desk lady who checked us in was very patient and kind while I sorted out my credit card. The pool was awesome the kids loved it and it was well maintained. My only feedback is I wish the skyview restaurant had more accommodating hours.

Although listed as an airport hotel it is some distance away by road and there is really nothing to do once here. It is impossible to go for a walk as it is surrounded by busy roads and limited sidewalks. To take a visit to the city would involve a taxi. Good for an overnight stay but wouldn’t stay longer

I traveled with my son and grandson to visit the Calgary zoo. The hotel was 14 minutes from the zoo, it had an amazing set up for the pools, multiple slides . The harndson had a blast.

The airport was 10 minutes from the air port. It was in a quiet part. Definatly need a car to get around. The shuttle to the airport runs from 5am to 11pm. The buffet breakfast is an additional cost, but delicious with varied options. It was casual and we never felt rushed to leave. The Saturday buffet of pasta and pizza was also delicious and varied options. The waterpark area was fun for the kids! Two slides, a pool and hot tub. A great way to start and end your day. Note on busy days you have to book a one hour time slot after 5pm.

First time I booked at Best Western and it’s been good so far. Just a bit disappointed with the booking since I thought I booked the hotel room with breakfast but when we got to the place, the room that I booked doesn’t have any free breakfast. I don’t know what happen but it’s okay. I just want breakfast to be included because of my Dad who is diabetic and he likes eating breakfast as well. Buffet breakfast costs $16 plus they will charge extra $2 for coffee as it’s not included on the buffet breakfast, only juices are free. Why can’t the coffee just be included on the breakfast? Anyways, we opt to go somewhere for breakfast. Overall, it’s a quiet location, and the hotel was great for the price. We had a good stay.

I gave a 5 star overall rating for all aspects of the stay. I must say I did not enjoy myself. Around 2 am I left bed due to back pain. By 4 AM I was unable to get out of the office chair. My wife went down to the desk to cancel a long term parking contract and when they enquired as to why the staff - 1) offered to call an ambulance, 2) offered to provide a wheel chair. 3)offered to assist my wife in getting me into the wheel chair. 4) offered to refund the non-cancelable room for our return trip due to the medical emergency. We took them up on the use of the wheelchair and this allowed me to have a pancake breakfast (my last food for over 30 hours). It also allowed me to get into my car instead of an ambulance and allowed my wife to drive me to our home in Lethbridge. Where I received almost immediate medical assistance in ER nd had urgent surgery. An Ambulance to a Calgary hospital would have left my wife on her own and searching for accommodation and food in a very stressful situation. Your assistance allow her to return to our own home after my surgery, stock and prepare the house for my discharge. All of this made both of lives substantially better. Sorry I did not get to enjoy the room. It looked great. Hopefully Ican visit again soon.

Wheelchair accessibility could be improved. The 4 accessible rooms were full so we had to take a regular room, which had VERY HIGH BEDS. They were not able to remove a box spring for us and nothing could be done to lower the beds. We were told all rooms had these high beds. Also the pool area was not accessible to wheelchairs unless you used a special lift, which required assistance from staff to use, so expect it to take 10-15 minutes to get up and another 10-15 to get staff help to get down again. Not cool.

The hotel was clean and the room was fine, the only gross part was the pool, the hot tub was so foamy and gross with hair everywhere. The pool isn’t really that, it’s a dual water slide basin and you can’t swim in it safely. I came out of the water and my skin and eyes burned for a day.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms could use a very good deep clean but were satisfactory. The structure that holds the waterslides, pools, and hot tubs needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. Lots of dust and some mold on the structure.
