Great selection of food at breakfast, pool was clean and towels were stocked. Our room was fabulous!

They over booked and we did not get the room we reserved and paid for. To make everything ok, they let us have whatever we wanted from the snack bar…. Unfortunately the products were 1 week past their due date and tasted awful. Not enough parking spots. We had to park at the hotel next door. Nice pool, nice gym. Excellent breakfast. The amount of coffee available was great.

We love this hotel! The staff are so friendly, efficient and welcoming. The rooms are so clean, beds are comfy… and they have Peloton in the gym!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed one of the most comfortable I've stayed in. The hotel's facilities were great! The gym was modern and well equipped, the pool was clean and not overly cool, and the breakfast was likely the best free hotel breakfast I've had. Request a room away from the road and you are set! I'd definitely stay here again.

This brand new hotel was nice but I complained that we booked this hotel due to its EV charge station. We got there on January 9th and the receptionist mentioned to us that the charging station had not yet been installed. She said sorry. The next morning I mentioned again our frustration and the comment was they will probably install them in March. Really not impressed, it would have been good that on the web site it mentioned that the EV stations were not in function. I would have stayed at a cheaper hotel with no station if I knew I had to go to Shell to charge. I was surprised that they did not even offer to give us a drink or a rebate on our night.

Staff were very friendly. Beds were not comfortable. Parking spots were really tight. Couldn’t get in and out of car if cars parked beside you.

Breakfast was delicious. Shower water pressure was very low. Parking was cramped.

We had high hopes for this property—it looks modern and well-designed, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the appearance. The room felt dirty from the start, with food stains on the desk and marks on the furniture. It gave off the impression of a budget hotel trying hard to appear upscale… and just missing the mark. When we arrived, the AC was off, the window shades were wide open, and the sun had turned the room into a sauna. It took hours to cool down, which made for an uncomfortable first night. Not the welcome you want after a long day of travel. On a positive note, the front desk attendant was lovely—clearly doing her best despite being overrun. The staff overall were friendly, welcoming, and seemed to genuinely care. The breakfast was decent, and we did feel safe and looked after. That said, this was our first and last stay. It’s a real shame, because with a bit more attention to cleanliness and operations, this place could be great. For now, it’s just not there.

We had a perfect stay. The building is new and very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond making sure our room had no duvet (because of my allergies). The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel in a while. The kitchen staff was also very friendly. If I’m in the area, I will definitely stay here again.

The Hyatt Place Windsor is always clean, always inviting. The breakfast every morning is fantastic. The rooms are so comfortable.

We had an excellent stay overall. Friendly welcome. Great breakfast. Modern, spacious room. The garbage can had an unopened plastic bag on top of it so we had to open that and put it in the garbage can. It didn’t want to touch the garbage can. When I picked it up there were food crumbs underneath it. The room’s blinds were very difficult and painful to raise and lower, and I’m a strong guy. So in the morning we didn’t raise them to let in the morning light. Normally we would.

Had an overnight stay and from the time we checked in until we left, the corridor leading to the elevator along with the inside of the elevator were dirty. The floors were dirty and not cleaned. The room looked nice and clean when we entered, however, we quickly realized that it had not been dusted which made us stuffy when we woke up. The vent in the bathroom was also had lots of dust gathered on it. It seemed as though that room hadn’t been slept in in a bit so the dust had gathered on the surfaced but hadn’t been cleaned. The staff we met were really nice. It was a pity that the experience was average. I expected better because of how new and modern the hotel is.

Friendly staff but the place was not clean enough. Went after the busy times and the hotel wasn’t that busy. Arrived at 3 as mentioned and the room wasn’t ready yet. The bath room’s floor was not clean and had a red spot bot sure if it was a dye or blood. Took the kids the pool early in the morning when we were the first ones and all towels were piled up wet and there was no clean towels left. Had to ask the staff for clean one. Staff was friendly and helpful but the cleanness of the place wasn’t the best

Hotel was nice and staff were very welcoming. It was a little noisy in the room because of the trucks coming down the road to cross the border. One issue with the room was we had to find an outlet near the bed and we pulled the bed back and there was a thick layer of dust under the bed and in the shape of the bed or staff have not cleaned properly.

Our room had an excellent view. It was very spacious and clean. The sofa bed had thin mattress that allowed us to feel all the metal rods from the bottom of the bed. Closet could have been bigger. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. The food was great (breakfast & evening snacks). We loved our stay.

The beds are not a traditional queen size mattress they were small more like a double bed

Beautiful, modern looking hotel that appears fairly new. Plusses - Easily accessed from the road. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. The common areas and our room looked very clean. Breakfast was great - lots of options. Downsides- Noisy! I know they don’t control that, but be aware there is a lot of traffic noise, the doors apparently don’t close quietly so there was a lot of loud door slamming at all hours, and the thin walls allow you to hear ALL the kids. Breakfast was good, but very, very crowded, hard to find a place to sit. The bedding was nice and clean, but the beds themselves were just “meh”. Not really very comfortable. All in all though, it was a pretty good stay and I would probably stay there again.

The only concern we had was the very loud AC unit in the room. Everytime it came on it would cancel the volume out on the TV.

Great room layout ans the pullout sectional couch is a nice touch.

Brand new, comfortable, quiet

Pro: Amazing hotel, friendly staff, check-in was fast and efficient. Pool, and fitness room we're awesome. Beds are super super comfy . Con: West-side of building faces a busy highway. Constant noise from trucks and vehicles , made it hard to sleep at times. I recommended picking a room on the opposite side of the building (facing residential area) Only other issue is, the curtain for the window is super see through. They need darker curtains to keep the room nice and dark when your asleep.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. It was really noisy, though. We could hear the people across the hall from us and anytime someone walked by the room. There also was a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor which let in a lot of light and may have contributed to to noiseness. Additionally, the person who had the room before us had set a very early alarm. We forgot to check for that before going to sleep, so we had a very exepcted and early wakeup.

The room was amazing and spacious, it didn’t feel like I was crammed in your typical hotel room. The AC was great. I’ll be staying here whenever I visit Windsor.

Arrived after 3 hours travelling to the reception saying that she did not have our reservation. We showed the confirmation to her but that wasn’t good enough. After over 30 minutes on the phone with Expedia, nothing was resolved. The only solution from the reception was for me to buy a second room. The other issue is that the reception is in the bar. It wasn’t the reception’s fault, but there were two guests speaking loudly and we couldn’t hear the phone. The hotel rooms are very clean and well appointed. There isn’t much selection in Windsor. The next day, I went down to the reception and it wasn’t resolved. The manager suggested I seemed annoyed. Yes, I was. He got the reception’s side of the story before mine, not typically a good approach. Let the customer share their concern first. It was like he said, she said. The reception suggested it was my fault and was defensive. Go figure. This all could have been avoided by the reception reviewing our confirmation, validating it and sending us to a room to start enjoying our holiday and addressing the issue with Expedia afterwards. Even showing a bit of sympathy would have been appreciated. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff. Young Lady at the counter wanting to become a librarian was wonderful and very helpful.

With it on the Main Street the traffic noise is quite loud if you are on the street side. Beautiful hotel. Clean and friendly staff.

Great stay in a brand new hotel. Not a walkable location but there is a restaurant in the lobby.

Great place to stay. Little far from riverside but close to hwy. Good breakfast option. New property. Clean. Reach early as it gets busy and they are always over booked specially on Saturdays.

Traffic was loud all night long

Trucks were a bit noisy. Next time, would ask for a room on the opposite side of the main road.

Convient location, close to downtown, but not in the heart, so not as much traffic! Excellent staff!

This hotel is very close to the US border and is conveniently located close to any food, grocery shops and hwy 401. The staff was very professional, friendly and courteous and looked after our needs.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Clean. Decent amenities. Kinda out of place with Bed Bug Inns on either side of it but I would highly recommend if travelling to Windsor

The Hyatt property & service were impeccable. The full service breakfast was fantastic, the gym complete, and the pool, while quite small, was well maintained. Free high speed WiFi was appreciated. The rooms are awesome (ours had a full ceiling glass view of the concrete jungle of downtown … so no points there but clearly not something the hotel had control over). Although aesthetically pleasing, the rooms could use better lighting and more intuitive temp. controls. The staff were very attentive & friendly. The place is gorgeous. Free outdoor parking is quite tight & a little insufficient but manageable. Perhaps the only downside is the property’s location, facing a busy International border crossing highway, literally a few min. from the Ambassador Bridge. A lot of International Border crossing of Trucks could be heard all night long & weekend drag racing by young people on likely many Windsor streets including the street this hotel is on has led us to believe after our 3rd experience in Windsor in April present/past for various hockey tournaments that this is likely the norm for Windsor as a border twin-city with Detroit. Young people cross over from the USA to go to the bars, get drunk & (hopefully not) drag race throughout town revving their engines all night long on weekends. One hotel we had stayed at in the past had even provided “free earplugs for sleep at night”. Alas, the lesson we have learned is that … we are not as young as we once were if this bothers us!

I don’t think the food was good especially for the price. Pizza tasted lik frozen kind. Hamburger wasn’t tasty.

Need more options for breakfast.

Clean, modern, spacious room, excellent breakfast (the buffet even included real fresh fruit salad and awesome sourdough bread), and outstanding hospitality from all staff, with Emily (front desk and bar) deserving a particular shout out. The on-site bar was perfect for a drink & some food after a long day of travel, and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Breakfast was one of the worst we’ve had when staying at different hotels. It was cold and we threw it away. The heavy lids for the eggs, bacon and French toast were difficult to deal with. And the pans/containers were warm at best.

1. Pool was not heated. 2. The breakfast was garbage. Uncooked turkey bacon, lol bacon crumbs. what was that for not sure? what was suppose to be scramble eggs wasn't anything near to eggs, no where for you to sit and eat so you just sit anywhere you find seating like the lobby 3. Rooms seems clean but the hotel is new so lets see.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great pool for kids. Breakfast was good, but it did get quite busy.

Absolutely amazing hotel me and my husband travel frequently and stay in quite a few different hotels in country and out this was hands down the best Hyatt we have stayed at the breakfast buffet was hands down the best one we have ever experienced in this rage of hotel. Also they have a bar and restaurant down stairs in the lobby good for quality for a quality for a hotel restaurant, only con I would have Is the pool is very small for such a large hotel.

The brrakfast was ok. Wish they had different type of sausages. The turkey and apple were not that good. Also the breafast potatoes seemed to be baked and lacked any flavor. Wish they had a pancake machine. My kids lived it when we stayed at a different hotel chain. The precut fruit were not fresh, thwy were old. Parking was good but spots in the front of the building wede pretty tight, not much room between vehicles. The parkibg around back was perfect. Staff very polite and helpful.

Hyatt Hotel was an awesome stay. All was perfect; room was clean and comfortable, gym was everything I needed for my routine work out, breakfast was delicious, staff were lovely, respectful and helpful. When I visit family in Windsor, I will for sure stay at the Hyatt.
