Hotel was lovely, freshly decorated and clean. Hotel staff were very helpful. View from our room is a building site, but we weren’t bothered as we were out and about viewing the beautiful city. The bar didn’t stay open very late. Overall a lovely hotel.

Bestmögliche Lage des Hotels. Nur 12 Parkplätze für Gäste. Dusche mit Regendusche. Zimmer sehr leise. Frühstück ok, aber nix besonderes. Tresor viel zu klein: ipaid air passt nicht rein. personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

En recepción si acaso nos dijeron dos palabras. El cuarto bien aunque no pague más por la vista a la calle pues era hacia una azotea y 0 vista. El desayuno está bien pero nada especial. Al hacer la reserva deberían de decirle a los huéspedes que tienen dos entradas pues el taxi nonos pudo llevar a la puerta pues es calle peatonal y la entrada tiene escaleras para cargar el equipaje, por el otro lado es calle normal y sin gradas.

Super location, good service, friendly staff, parking limited due to construction site neighboring and a bit noisy but all in all okay. Due to it´s SUPER central location I will definitely go again and hope the staff will read my request in my booking of view.

Great location , all the main sights are walkable from this hotel . The hotel was clean , staff fantastic . The breakfast was great , set us up for the day , lots to choose from , even had pizza! The front entrance is shut from 10pm , you need to use the back , we arrived quite late 11.30pm , and was panicking we were not going to make check in and then when we couldn’t get in the front door it made us panic a bit more . However, we found the back entrance ( took 5mina to walk round the back ) i would recommend this hotel .

Check-in was friendly and efficient. Our room fitted two comfortable twin beds, was modern, clean and tastefully appointed. Nice size bathroom provided good quality toiletries. Our booking included breakfast which was a real treat offering hot and cold food and a great coffee machine for wide range of coffees. We happened to stay during a hotel promo of free appies and beverage, once per stay per person and really enjoyed that. Hotel is centrally located to shopping and restaurants all within walkable range. Hotel has front and back entrance for late night access.

Reception welcome was ok , room was very poor , had to change room as the entire wall of the bathroom on the bedroom side was flaking with debris on the carpet and the corner edge coming off , seems to be a water leak inside the wall . Couldn’t believe the room was even let to a guest . Shower door didn’t close , water all over the bathroom floor . Bathrooms were small . Internet intermittent in the bedrooms . On the plus side , breakfast was good , service team attentative , the lounge access was a nice touch , comp Prosecco each evening with nibbles . Hot water for tea only reached 60 degrees in the restaurant . Location is great , walking distance to everywhere

Very nice hotel , rooms are good size and very clean , staff is very friendly and helpful.nice breakfast with lots of choices. Great location you can walk to all main attractions. Definitely will come back again.

This hotel is in a nice location. It is close to most sights, but the condition of our room was not the best. There were multiple stains on the chairs and floor in our room and it felt dirty. The main lobby, bar, and breakfast restaurant were all clean. It might have just been out room.

The building is old and the maintenance is a little bit behind. Had problem with window at roll so I had to change. The soap holder was empty in shower. Maybe I had unfortune this time.

Location is good. Walking distance to Danube River, and so on. Mattress is very bad, not soft and deform. One bed mattress is made by two single beds combined which is really poor.Deforming shape and Hilly in middle connection between two beds. Cannot sleep comfort in middle. Two sinking zone in each bed mattress. The mattress is not support and not soften. The shower room door cannot fully be closed. The water from shower come out to dry area.

For someone that enjoys the proximity to the city centre & central locations, this property certainly checks the box.. and next to staff courtesy, everything good stops short (and this coming from an Accor ALL member!) Despite being put up in a so-called 'superior' category room (view from room in pic attached), the amenities were anything but.. toiletries/basics were skim (no moisturizer even), room slippers only provided in 'higher' room categories, no iron/board in room for safety reasons (although I've seen this provision in other properties as well, so not too surprised) and housekeeping was non-existent at times, when on 1-2 days, room was not even cleaned or replenished, with 0 effort to even try otherwise. For a similar (or lower) price, you're probably better off choosing Ramada next door, which offers a similar room, but with all of the amenities missing at Mercure, including much better breakfast offering :)

A long weekend mini break. Hotel is very central to be able to explore everything on foot. The rooms are comfortable with a smart modern decor. Lovely buffet breakfast. Nice amenities in the hotel. Good Wi-Fi. Nice Italian restaurant. The staff were lovely and so very welcoming. The room rates were very reasonable. All in all this is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Good location and good breakfast. I got a room upgrade and was on the 8th floor. The room was spacious, but was too hot for unknown reason and the air condition didn't really cooled it down. The bathroom was clean, but just too small.

The room was overly hot and their answer to that was open the window. Not satisfactory. The night was very uncomfortable and yes opened window but not enough Moved to new room for second night and better but would not recommend smother time to attend

Lovely spacious room although shower room a little compact. Great breakfast offered. Very clean hotel. Window didn't close properly so a little noisy at night but didn't bother us too much on the 10th floor. Building works happening next door but again that didn't bother us as we were out all day. Location is perfect for everything. Would recommend.

The location is very close to the main attractions in the city and easily walkable (15-20 min) to many places. Staff can be hit or miss and unsure if it is due to cultural and/or language differences. The rooms are on the small side but very clean. There are constructions on the outside; however, there is construction all over the city. Wifi connection is superiorly better than the hotel we had the conference at. They also can help you call a taxi for airport connection.

The hotel is very dated and needs updating. The carpet is awful, the bathroom faucet came off multiple times. If you are 150 pounds and over you cannot get into the shower. The door opens inside. It gives you about 6 inches to get into the shower. The pillows are rectangular and very hard to sleep on. The location is fantastic. That’s about the only good thing I can say.

The Hot Water Kettle in my rom did not work. I needed hot water for my medisin. I asked the reception to fix it the first day. Nothing happened. Next day I asked why it is not fixed and the receptionist got mad and said he didnt know. Really bad service. There is also construction next to the hotel and really noisy in the morning from 7 everday.

Busy tourist street close to absolutely everything. Value for money at least when we booked. Wedid however enjoy the less touristy areas more in the end but it was a great hotel for our first visit to explore what the city had to offer.

The property was a short taxi ride from where our river ship was docked. The hotel was very convenient and easy walking to St. Stephen’s, Shoes on the River and the funicular to Budapest. Great hotel!

In a perfect location. Lots of restaurants and shops right out the door. Hotel was fine. Totally recommend the breakfast option as it was good and there aren't a lot of breakfast options nearby. Room was standard and smallish but most importantly the AC worked great. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. A very nice experience overall. I recommend this hotel for tourists and families.

Very well positioned hotel with shops and restaurants on the doorstep and both the metro and the Danube very close by. Daughter loved the pancake machine at breakfast and breakfast buffet was pretty good (coffee on the weak side, but that's personal preference) and the staff were all very friendly. Room was clean and functional. Bathroom on the small side but it did the job. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Genial, excelente servicio y desayuno. Hotel óptimamente ubicado en calle peatonal llena de restaurantes y comercios, a cien metros del Danubio. Óptima relación calidad/precio. Así son los Mercure pues en Berlín también lo experimentamos.
