Location was great and staff was excellent. Marvelous rooftop bar. Breakfast was expensive but there are many options nearby. Only issue was that there are two small elevators and one was not working on two of the days. The staff was very helpful and apologetic and directed us to the service elevator but there were still lineups. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Schönes Hotel, gutes Frühstück. Die Zimmer zum Platz haben einen schönen Blick, aber sind dadurch natürlich etwas laut. Ohrstöpsel sind zu empfehlen. Die Rooftop Bar wäre sehr gut, wenn sie auch geöffnet wäre. Untertags und abends haben wir die Bar leider immer geschlossen vorgefunden. Sehr schade, denn der Ausblick von oben ist hervorragend.

Great location, let down a little by external and internal noise (internal - lots of door slamming). Also Wifi was unreliable. Location was perfect though. Internal facilities lacking e.g. bar inside hotel not open until summer, though everything needed was within a short walk.

Leider war das Zimmer erst nach 15:30 verfügbar. Unser Zimmer war schön, jedoch klein. Mit dem Koffer am Boden ist man dann leicht eingeschränkt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Man hört das Geschehen auf dem Gang so gut, dass man immer das Gefühl hat, die Tür sei offen. Leider gibt es auf der Dach-Terrasse keinen durchgehenden Service. Das Frühstücksbuffet für 9€ können wir sehr empfehlen. Sehr guter Kaffee und eine gute Auswahl an Leckereien. Sie sollten jedoch nicht zu spät erscheinen, da schon eine Stunde vor Buffetende nichts mehr aufgefüllt wird! Lage ist TOP!

I travel a lot and I will write reviews when I hope that it will help other travellers. This hotel has a good location. It is close to many attractions and has a nice roof top patio with beautiful views of Fortress St Barbara. But, that is about it. And the unfortunate part is that there are numerous hotels within a stones throw of this hotel, so the good location can be achieved at other hotels. Now for the negatives. The biggest negative was the odour. There was consistently a sewage smell that would occur at various times in the day. We would try to resolve this by opening the window, but there was a homeless person living directly below our window and he smoked frequently. He was close enough that you could smell his smoke in our room. There was also a pair of ladies underwear on the stairs. This is fine, but they were there for 3 days, which makes you wonder how frequently is this place being cleaned. When selecting a hotel/room I spend a considerable amount of time searching. The room I selected on the Expedia website did not match what we were given. We were in room 101. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. As stated earlier, we travel a lot and we are not fussy, but I would advise that you can find a better place than this property.

Stayed here for 1 night. Location is perfect with lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Hotel is clean throughout. Room was clean although there was a slight musky smell at times in the room. Heating worked in the room. No toiletries but there were shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower. Breakfast was ok, provided lactose free milk as well. Small selection but enough to get you through the morning. Croissants, scrambled egg bacon, pastries , cereal, some meats and cheese . Staff were friendly. I dont think the rooms are sound proofed as i could hear the room next door late at night. Also people did bang the doors when closing. But it was a nice stay. Very comfortable and clean and safe

Nyrenoverat jättefint hotell. Mycket bra frukost med allt man kan önska sig. Tyvärr väldigt lyhört och öronproppar är ett måste. Superhårda sängar och ett wi-fi som fungerade någon gång ibland drar ner betyget. Men personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam även om de inte kunde göra något åt det icke fungerande wi-fi på de fem dagarna som jag bodde där.

Koselig hotell ved rådhusplassen, midt i sentrum, 3 min fra strandpromenaden. Svært hyggelig liten resepsjon, rent og moderne rom med dusj og en liten, men fin frokostsal med god mat. Også glutenfritt. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit!

Worst bed I've ever slept in. Mattress was as hard as a rock. Also hotel couldn't provide me with gluten-free breakfast apart from some wrapped pastries and breadroll. So i had no access to continental or cooked food despite having prepaid for it based on ad.
