Comfort Inn & Suites Ashland

The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable (and that was saying something considering the heat while we were there). The only negative point was the pool, which was green and had things floating in it. :(

We stayed for one night with a pet. Good location and price but the pool/hot tub were closed and the elevator was not working either. No discount for the broken/ non-functional facilities. The property needs much better maintenance. Check in staff was very pleasant and accommodating as was the staff refreshing the breakfast area.

Beautiful modern room with comfortable bed. Pool and hot tub were clean and the perfect temperature. Good breakfast selection with a waffle maker. Close to freeway but traffic noise was not a problem. Elevator was out of order but the lobby is on the second floor. The third floor was only 15 steps up and the staff offered to carry our bags up. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Great room and they have a 24 hour pool.

Very nice hotel for an overnight stay ( in the middle of nowhere on I-5 ). Clean room & nice bed .Good hot breakfast. 24 hour pool. The elevator was out of order during my stay.

Pool and hot tub was out of service and we were never notified, not in the email they sent and not not when we checked in. We should have had an opportunity to change our decision with this knowledge. We had originally Decided on a different place but then switched to this one because we were specific looking for a place with a pool and hot tub, and we paid $50 more just so we could have access to a pool, we also chose this over places that had a better location because again we wanted to pool.

Older building, but kept clean. Staff are friendly . Breakfast is good. On that pool and sauna and elevator were all broken

Breakfast was good except the eggs. They had a weird taste not sure why. They taste like metal. The elevator did not work and had to carry out luggages to the second floor. The smell of legal marijuana was very strong in some areas of the hallway, to the point that I was getting sick. Did not use the pool or hot tub. Staff at check in and check out was fast and courteous.

Very clean, well appointed, appears recently remodeled. Comfortable beds, big plus to have duvet covers. Quiet and highly functional AC If you want to be right near the freeway, great location and is quiet inside. Nice meadow view out the back. Close to downtown. However: due to an obstructing sign to the left at the 76 station and a bush on the right , the exit can be quite dangerous if traffic more than light.

Bed was super nice, breakfast was ok. Pulling out from the parking lot was somewhat difficult due to the constant stream of traffic particularly if you need to make a left turn.

Very clean but the room had a very heavy perfumed smell that lingered. It was a pet friendly room but perfumed cleaner is not my preference.

Very clean and quiet. In my room, everything was spotless. I was surprised because it’s a pet-friendly room. Breakfast was fabulous with bacon, eggs, waffles, coffee, juice, etc.

Room was very rundown - walls peeling, toilet flusher loose, faucet loose. To top it off, daughter got bug bites in bed (possible bed bugs). Not worth what I paid!

We slept pretty good our first night but we have allergies and by the second night my partner and I both had headaches and were sneezing. We did not walk barefoot on the carpets in our room they felt a bit squishy and sticky. The beds were comfortable and the linens felt crisp and clean. There were some broken tiles missing in the bathroom which revealed what looked like possible mold behind the walls... the shower head also showed signs of hard water calcification and the setting could not be changed on it. And lastly when were packing up to leave we found someone elses dog toys underneath one of our beds.. we don't have a dog. For the price we got the room was okay but it definelty could have been better maintained and cleaned more properly. Another pro is the front desk staff if friendly and welcoming, they made check in very easy.

Loved the continental breakfast; the floors in the room hadn’t been swept and counters, and furniture wasn’t wiped down; the pool and hot tub were great.

Woke up at 1:45 am by hotel fire alarm and lost all water. Not necessarily hotels fault, but was told that owner was not going to comp any rooms. While packing to leave noticed bed and desk full of tiny ants. Took pictures and notified staff, still no comp on room and no way to take a shower after that nastiness. DO NOT stay here unless you collect ants.

We stayed 3 nights to attend the Shakespeare Festival. I would not call this hotel convenient to downtown Ashland, absolutely NOT walkable (maybe 3-4 miles), but the overnight rate was economical. The hotel location is a bit noisy, at the corner of I-5 and the very busy off-ramp and street. The hotel has a large lot out front for self-parking. Staff is very friendly and competent. There's morning breakfast available. The room is basic, a generic hotel, and the bathroom was VERY small. The toilet room had a door, the adjacent sink area did not. A not typical note: Our room had a terrible morning smell coming from the bathtub, which we reported. A plumber came right out. Next morning, the bathtub had a couple of inches of sewage, so no morning showers. Room was taken out of service and if we'd been staying longer, I'm sure we would have been offered a different room, but this happened the morning we were checking out. I am sure they will have this fixed soon and not offer that room till it is, but it does speak to the age of the hotel, we think. Beds were quite comfortable, AC was good but noisy. This was what I'd term a generic hotel room, as in, about what you'd expect but nothing special." When we visit Ashland again, we will stay elsewhere much closer to the Festival grounds.

Our bathroom in room 225 was extremely dirty. We lifted the toilet seat and there were stains that looked like diarrhea. The shower head was completely grimy and the bar where the curtain for showering is held up was so unstable and it didn’t feel safe to put our towels there. I took pictures of everything. I am completely dissatisfied with my stay here.

The room was clean, it's pretty outdated. The air conditioner took a bit to get it so it wasn't so cold. Breakfast was good.

The overall experience was adequate. The room was fine and clean but the bathroom fixtures leaked and shower water sprayed from a poor fix.

Nice enough hotel the rooms are large and clean. The room did have a bit of a smell. It is very convenient to I-5 so easy to access.

The bed pillows were uncomfortable and tiny.

The WiFi did not work. The breakfast was good. The rest was ordinary, neither special nor disappointing.

Decent room. Shower pressure not great, but it is wet. Not much on the toiletries like other hotels. It appears to be relatively newly renovated. Could hear a lot of movement on the above floor, but OK now.

Excellent front desk staff,good breakfast , clean rooms, quiet. Also dog friendly. Very accommodating with the changes in my stay. I have stayed many times and recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Check in person was awesome. He was helping another person on the phone as I was walking up to the desk. He was really nice with them on the phone, answered their questions and then checked me in. He was personable and professional. He also gave me great recommendations later on where to eat for dinner. Great service.

Nice staff. Clean. Convenient to the freeway. Nothing lavish, but it's a great option for a stay. Would absolutely stay again!

Front desk clerk was VERY helpful and professional while solving a problem with our reservation.

The room itself was fine however the check in employee was not welcoming at all. When I arrived I was met with a sign stating the employee would be back soon. It wasn’t a big deal for me to wait. After about 5 minutes or so the employee appeared. The person indicated to me they would be right with me with a tone of annoyance. During the check in the employee barely looked at me and barked the rules of the property to me. I left feeling like I was a complete inconvenience to this person. The room I was given was adjacent to the lobby and the space provided for the continental breakfast. We could hear people in the lobby during all hours in the night and then we awakened in the morning by the chairs in the breakfast area being scooted across the floor each time anyone sat or got up. It was a terrible experience.

As we were settling in our room another guest opened our door with a key card and scared my wife and kids. It was early evenig we had just come off a 5 hour drive. I then had to go to the front desk because the keys to the room no longer worked, because front desk agent gave other guests our room as well. While I was there getting new keys, another guest behind me was there because he said he walked into the room he gave them and there was already guests in that room. Same thing happened to him that happened to us!? There was also bugs in one of the beds. Not bed bugs but some kind of beetle looking things. We did not sleep well that night and left early the next morning at 5am. Sorry to say tyat this will be our last stay here

This place is ran down and spooky. They gave me a ground floor room with the windows unlocked. I was not greeted by the night front desk, it took a long silent moment to get me checked in. He only spoke to tell me my room number...which is not standard practice due to safety concerns when women are traveling alone. Very "Norman Bates" feeling. I wasn't told about breakfast. I wasn't even told to have a nice night. What a surreal and annoying experience after driving all day! Rude.

We stopped for an overnight as we traveled from Portland to California. We always stop in Ashland a halfway stop. First time at this Comfort Inn. Easy to find, right off the freeway, but quiet and comfortable. They were in the middle of renovations when we arrived, so furniture and supplies were piled up but neatly out of the way. The Front Desk clerk, Reed, is competent and friendly and gave us all the info of the small property. The room is spacious and newly renovated so all furnishings are new. The bed is comfortable with clean, fresh linens and the space was super clean. The bathroom was still a bit dated, but functional and clean. Breakfast was sufficient and had all the standard offerings and was filling and varied. . The downtown area is close with lots of options for food and shopping. All-in-all we will be happy to book at this Comfort Inn for the value, location, and amenities

Courteous staff and clean room at a great price. Slept well and about to go have breakfast downstairs.

Very convenient with a friendly staff who helped return our pillow to us that we left behind. Affordable option for travelers who need a good clean option. A few knobs were broken but everything functional. Nice full breakfast in the morning and a very nice exterior.

I found the staff excellent. Location perfect and enjoyed my stay and will most assuredly return.

Easy to get to the "Theater Area" of Ashland

This place is very clean and has a very nice breakfast included in the price. Definitely gives you a nice option for staying away from downtown Ashland and the price was good.

New, fresh updated in January. Very convenient to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and all the delights of downtown Ashland. Staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming.

Close enough to downtown Ashland and easy I-5 access.

Great location , directly off of highway . Super close to downtown Ashland . Highly recommend

It’s close to I-5 and quiet, pool, hot tub and a good breakfast!

We had been on the road all day and were very tired. Check in was easy, the room clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed the pool and spa the next morning. Better than average breakfast, too, and the coffee was great. Everything we wanted/needed.

The photos on the website are accurate, but they look more fancy. I'm guessing this photos are back, from the hotel inauguration. The 24/7 pool is very nice, but the thing that destroyed this hotel for me and for that reason along I will not recommend this place...was the breakfast. The hotel was completely book and they didn't prepare for it. First, there was no enough seating. I arrived with my kids and husband at 8:20am. We stand up for like 15 minutes and in all that time we were waiting for the eggs and bacon. We saw so many people come in and out without getting any breakfast and there was a still an hour left for breakfast to end. When the food finally came it wasn't enough for everyone who was waiting and the quality of the eggs and bacon was super low. This is one of the worst breakfast. We were so hungry when we left and we paid to have breakfast included in our room reservation. Super disappointed.

Fire alarm went off a couple times around 2:30am. Staff at counter first night was unprofessional, also shoved the wrong rooms receipt under my door. Overall the stay was fine and breakfast was pretty good. Room was clean but worn.

It was ok, a bit noisy by hwy. Location good -Staff super nice and accommodating. Needed to change rooms due to ada issue. Breakfast wasn’t great - runny eggs, bacon and sausage was bad - bacon paper thin and broke apart, waffles good.
