Lithia Springs Resort

The amenities were great, the only thing I'd have changed was to have a skimmer nearby for the pool and hot tub.

This property was lovely. Flowers, arbors, koi pond, fountain's make for quiet serenity sitting area's. The pool was also nice but the jets in the hot tub were not working. Bungalow room was clean and spacious with very nice decor. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely, comfortable, relaxing stay. Very helpful staff, great pool and hot tub (which unfortunately was broken during much of our stay). Our room was lovely, and we enjoyed the in-unit hot tub.

Always a great stop with hot springs outdoor jacuzzi and indoor whirlpool bath. So convenient to Ashland yet so isolated

I think after seeing the wide lens pictures, positive reviews, and cost of over $350+ a night, our expectations were higher than they should have been. All the photos of these luxurious sitting areas throughout the resort felt more like a furniture gallery and were all lumped by the check-in desk. Their were rust stains all over the exterior buildings and stairs. The outdoor furniture was faded and dilapidated. It just felt like someone put a lot of love into making this place, but then forgot to maintain it and started cutting corners to save money. I know we were warned that the hot breakfast was no longer included in the (expensive) cost of our stay, which feels pretty tacky, but they assured us we could enjoy the continental breakfast. That breakfast included a couple pastries, bread, and some yogurt. Honestly the chain hotels have better continental breakfasts. And the indoor dining area was filled with Ikea outdoor chairs... Our studio room was redeeming, at least. The giant 2 person tub, updated TV, fireplace, and comfortable bed were enjoyable. I just wish our view wasn't of a memory care facility on one side, and a bank and enormous solar panels on the other. The pool and hot tub were nice but not super clean. Understandable with an outdoor pool. The wine bar was a pleasant addition - great selection of local wines. Overall, it was okay, but SO not worth the cost. Next time we'll stay closer to town.

Although it’s not downtown, I much prefer Lithia Springs over the sister hotel of Ashland Springs. Lithia Springs had friendly front desk and dining staff, it was clean and the grounds were charming and maintained nicely. The pool and area was clean and the pool was refreshing after a HOT day. My only suggestion to the management, the pool towels were thin and small, consider buying new towels.

Beautiful property and the room was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The grounds are beautiful, and I loved the Jacuzzi tub in the room, as well as the hot tub outdoors. I wish the pool had been heated, as it was too cold to swim in, but I was there at the very end of October. Breakfast was very good.

The property was beautiful and clean. We arrived to tea and cookies. The rooms was spacious and clean. We used the cozy sitting room area to hang out next to the fireplace and it was wonderful. The jacuzzi and fitness center were very nice amenities. The breakfast room was lovely. I will definitely be back in the summer when the gardens are in bloom and tasting room is open

All was great as usual. Autumn climate and weather not quite as perfect, however pool & hot tub remained open!

We had a great experience. Used bikes the property provided to ride into Ashland. And on return it was nice to soak in the hot tub and pool.

Unique place that is probably nicer in the summer when the garden is blooming and the trees have leaves. Tea time was fun and the pool area is nice. Our room was a bit rough around the edges: not sparkling tub, dirty baseboards, a bit of mildew in the shower. They had fertilised the garden beds and the smell was quite off-putting. Between that and the sulphur smell the only escape was the dining room and lobby.

Sofas in room 15 it’s very old and slammed Cleaning lady can’t cleaning because it’s too old You have to cover with a blanket to sit on it

Mineral spring water has corroded many of the fixtures and room was generally dirty.

The room was great except for the couch. Need to update and get a more comfortable couch. Very broken down and uncomfortable!

We have been staying here for years and have never had a worse experience than this time. The property is unkept, the rooms have become rundown. Dirty. Very disappointing. Not worth the money. It used to be immaculate. What happened?

The toilet ran, the shower dripped… all night. The outside lights were so bright it affected our sleep. The property appears a bit tired. The room space is great and the property grounds are wonderful.

We enjoyed a quiet stay in one of the suites. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We had fun walking around the grounds and seeing a group of wild turkeys wander past.

The grounds used to be kept very nicely and now not so much. The faucet handle in the bathroom was completely unsecure, paint and countertops worn, window seal broken with condensation , carpet on stairs also worn. New resort fee added to the cost of the room in addition to a new charge for what used to be complementary breakfast. Overall, the property has just not been maintained as well as it used to be so the overall experience has been diminished.

The place was very clean, although the jet tub was pretty dusty when we filled it. The breakfast options were pretty limited, but overall it was a really nice stay.

Room smells musty, screaming kids at the pool until 9:45 pm, room worn, patio filthy including rusty lawn furniture.

It was super hot in the room. They couldnt fix the AC. They told me they would refund me 50%. I havent seen a refund yet.

The room I was in was very noisy. For a resort, I was surprised that they would place a room above the kitchen and dining room. The room was also next to the trash receptacles. At 5:50am, the trash truck picked up the receptacles and it was frightening and extremely loud. It felt like it was happening in my room! The entire time I was in my room, "massage" music could be heard. The dining area had this music on at 7am and it kept on playing after 10pm. Like the trash truck crashing sounds, the music sounded like it was being played inside my room. I would not return to this resort or if I did, I would not stay in room 1 or 2.

Room one was old and not so nice. The water was just warm, no matter how long your ran it. Brrr shower. You smelled the food from breakfast below you. The gabled shape meant you hit your head on the ceilings whenever you went to the bathroom at night. We have been here before and adored it. But we were on the other side of the resort - so cute! This time was such a disappointment.

We like the cleanliness of the facilities, free and well prepared hot breakfast, free afternoon tea and cookies. Quiet and easy parking, convenient to access highway and streets. But there are two problems need to be fixed: 1)wifi signal in our room is weak and not stable; 2) some power plug sockets on the walls are very loose, can't contact properly.

Loved this place. It was cozy and cute and the staff were friendly. I would recommend getting a bungalow room because they are more spacious and it seems some rooms have different amenities, so I would recommend checking out the features before making a final choice. For example, one room had a heart shaped tub while another had a skylight, and or I think some have kitchenette's with a stovetop while others may just have the microwave set-up. This was perfect for a min-vacation to relax with my fiancé and I was able to book a massage with Lisa who’s phenomenal; and don’t forget to feed the beautiful fish at the pond 😉

This was our third time stay at this hotel, and the first time in a studio. It was so small that we didn’t even have the space to put the decorative pillows nor a closet to hang our jackets, not to mention the area to put our suitcase. I should have read the room descriptions more carefully. We were very disappointed.

Expected more for what I paid. :/ people were extremely nice but for 300 dollars I expected updated amenities and more room. I would book a best western probably before I would book here again. Rooms are somewhat connected? You walk through a room that then diverts to two rooms. Prefer a normal hotel set up to this to be honest. Heard my neighbor coming in and out all night and as a solo traveler.it made me feel a bit unsafe. Employee at front desk was very hospitable, though. Not at all what I expected and for travel I did it was unsatisfying. Just felt overpriced for what you got.

Room layout was crazy. Large bathtub in bedroom however room size could not handle it and as result no dresser and extremely small closet in bathroom which made it impossible for two people to access at the same time. I understand that the mineral water is a important feature of this result but the resort needs to be practical with room layout.

This was our fourth stay at LSR. As usual the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

I think the gross hippies from next door are infiltrating this once safe, clean, quiet place. Front desk needs major help with customer service and need not be creepy. You ask a simple question and get a blank stare for 10 whole awkward seconds and they don’t even answer, you’re just weirded out and forget bothering asking anything else. They now charge $18 for the once free breakfast. It’s not worth $18 for burnt quiche or scrambled eggs with dry tasteless potatoes. Asked for towels, via text, as there were none provided at the pool as stated on the amenities card IN THE ROOM, the only real man at front desk had the audacity to tell me to he’d bring some “just this once” and proceeded to scold me when he got to the pool. Sorry, the thing that checked us in did not specify to take towels upon check in. Get your policy straight! Also, what’s up with all the swingers that go through here and occupy the hot tubs at night and make people feel weird or that they own the place and make you feel uncomfortable and disgusted that you get out of the hot tub after only 5 minutes? People who do not stay there also use the pool/hot tub and come in anytime they like as the area is not monitored. Why do I pay $300+ a night, stay a week and these people can just come and go freely and take up space? It’s appalling what this place has turned into.

Didn\'t get my room after being booked 2 weeks ahead of time for valentine\'s day staff an services were a complete disappointment Didn\'t make anything right just said "sorry theres nothing we can do" i highly do NOT RECOMMEND unless you want your plans all screwed up. Too bad really is a nice place as iv stayed there a few times but unfortunately untill staffing/management is fixed i couldn\'t recommend. They\'ll just give your room away......

Clean.

Nice quick visit. Enjoyed the tea and scones upon arrival and had a delicious breakfast before we headed out. Will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time.

Room was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was large and updated. The entire facility was spotless, staff was friendly, professional, and very attentive. The grounds had many tranquil and beautiful seating areas. We will stay here again.

Really nice furnishings, decor, and amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was super clean and comfortable and really well stocked with helpful items. Breakfast was amazing and breakfast staff were sweethearts. The only thing that wasn’t super was annoying. No one at the front desk at a pretty normal 5:00pm check in time, then it turns out the lady was in the very adjacent office and took a call and spent at least 5 minutes helping someone on the phone while I’m waiting. Not ok in my customer service world.

Did not like the place at all. We checked in and tried to take bath. We had the tv on at volume 30. A person from the front desk banged on our door and told us we were being to loud. The door directly across from us put up a do not disturb sign at 8 pm and we think they called the front desk and complained. If we can not take a bath and watch tv in the room we will not go there again and not pay gorbthevroom

Cute bungalows arranged around gardens gazebos and pool. Mineral hot springs on the grounds sources pool/spa water and treated for consumption. Worked hard to eliminate sulphur smell but still noticeable. Grounds are beautifully landscaped. Complimentary breakfast better than typical fare with more options. Short 8 min drive to downtown Ashland.

This hotel was priced much better than anything in the area for a busy graduation weekend. It was a little off the beaten path, and not very close to downtown, but we liked the quiet location away from all of the festivities and noise of the downtown area. Our room is huge, with an attached living room and kitchen. It really felt like a nice little apartment. The only thing I would caution against, is maybe staying there during the hot summer months. The two wall air conditioners did not seem sufficient for the size of the room and may be a bigger issue when it’s hotter. We slept with the slider open and it didn’t create a big problem. The mineral water that is used here is a bit stinky, but it sure does feel good on your skin. Just plug your nose and enjoy it!

Lithia Springs is one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms are well appointed, staff is great, the grounds are beautiful, they serve a lovely breakfast and there are healing mineral waters everywhere. It's also 5 minutes from downtown Ashland, along with being accessible to the freeway. It's in a odd location snuggled in between commercial business, however when you are on the grounds it fades away.

Property is beautiful! Lots of flowers. Area around was dirty and very loud due to a large party that appeared to rent out a property across the street for a music event. Baths are nice but evening wine is not complimentary. Other than that is was a nice place. Room was nice.

We love Lithia Springs Resort! It has a convenient location, the property is gorgeous, the amenities go above and beyond, and the price is very reasonable. This is our second stay there. We will be back

Nice clean property, comfortable bed and down pillows. Good breakfast. Very accessible to central Ashland. The hot springs pool and hot tub are probably overrated but nice to have.

Great location

My fiance and I absolutely LOVED staying here. It was so wonderful for our weekend away and near tons of wineries as well as downtown Ashland.

Beautiful and quiet hotel, nice rooms and clean. You have to drive 5-10 mins to get to Ashland, but close enough.

Charming gardens and rural location

Everything was excellent except that the staff at breakfast was a little aggressive about food vouchers for hot food. Yes, the resort charges $18 per person if you want hot breakfast that includes eggs, like boiled or scrambled, and bacon. Otherwise you get just the cold breakfast that includes yogurt, cereal, toast, fruits, juice and coffee or tea.

Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in lots of hotels this was the best. We will use this place in future we are very happy that we stayed for the night.

Hotel/Inn was very comfortable and quaint. Staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. My only request is that there were more breakfast options. I am allergic to eggs and there was only egg for protein choice.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are lovely, the tub for soaking in our room was wonderful. The tea time on arrival was a nice touch. We didn’t stay for breakfast since the hot breakfast is $18 extra a person. However, we headed into the quaint town for food. I would definitely stay here again. I wish massages were available more often because we totally would have booked one but they aren’t offered Sunday or Monday. Overall, a great stay though.

I love Lithia Springs and have stayed multiple times. It's just so peaceful and beautiful. Disappointed to find that breakfast is no longer included. Sad face.

The healing waters are just that! Each room has mineral water and tubs you can soak in. Very relaxing time. They offer a deliciously fresh breakfast and afternoon tea service daily. The property grounds are absolutely beautiful. We loved it so much we ended up booking the entire week!

This was our third visit and we love the mineral baths. For the hot breakfast be sure to get there in the first hour or you may find the staff not refilling offerings.
