Didn’t ask for my Marriott number, so was charged for wifi. I wrote them but they didn’t seem overly keen in addressing it at the hotel, told me to call the 1-800 number. I’ve never experienced this at a Marriott- they always look it up, take care of it for me. I said I’d be back in two days, could they take care of it. They said yes- but honestly, I just thought-I don’t want the hassle of having to re-explain. Easier to just go somewhere else.

Checked in while listening to the rudest clerk I’ve ever heard telling the guest they were checking in that parking for hotel guests is paid not included, to pay outside the guests then asked about Wi-Fi and were told that is also an additional charge. The guests then asked about breakfast availability and were snapped at that it was not complimentary. 1) They never asked about any of it being free 2) It made me want to leave the hotel. Will never go to that Marriott again. Also had to go to airport the night before the flight to get seating arranged. The shuttle is supposed to run every 20 minutes. Sat for an hour waiting to be picked back up. Called three times to get bus to show back up

The hotel was very clean and surprisingly quiet. I slept like a rock. I had lunch in the bar and the food was great. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my short stay.

Had to ask for a different room because the first one we were given was disgusting. Hair in both the sink and tub. Dirty floor around bed and bathroom . Something obviously spilled on mirror and was not cleaned at all. Not up to the standard I am accustomed to at Marriott

This hotel was an average stay. The front desk staff were very nice, helpful, and accommodating. This hotel has a sub-level ground floor with rooms. I will say that this level looks like a converted basement and there were lots of cobwebs in those rooms. We requested to be moved to one of the upper floors and were granted permission to do so, once we reached our new room we noticed that the door to the room was not properly set making it hard to open and close. The mirrors were dirty and the sheets had stains in them. I will say although the staff was helpful I can’t recommend that anyone consider booking here unless you have to.

This is the second time we have stayed for just one night. Very easy if you are flying in or out of MCI. Food is delicious, rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

The hotel from the outside looks old and dated but the interior looks like it had a serious make over and the rooms were very nice, minus the popcorn ceiling but the room and bathroom overall were on par with a Westin Room.

Only stayed one night. The bar staff were excellent. Check-in and check-out were also great with lots of helpful tips. My room was clean and well appointed but very, very dark even with all available lights on. Brighter room would have been 5 stars.

The rooms are very hot and the air conditioning does not cool the room. There is a strong perfume smell that stinks in the lobby and hall way by the elevators. Please get rid of it it’s terrible, it gave me a headache and makes us think you’re trying to cover up a terrible smell. The 7th floor hallway smells musty and the air is stagnant and muggy… terrible air flow in this place. I would not book this place again.

Just a regular Marriott. They put us in a room in the basement. Parking is not free or included with your room. Pay for WiFi. At the airport but you have to take a shuttle. Too far to walk.

The room was noisy. Showers from other rooms were very loud. And there was another repeating squeaky sound in the room we don’t know where it came from. Beautiful room with view on the airport but no noise from plaines!

Took 30 mins to check me in. Reserved a King Room, got a double, which they never told me. Found out when I got to the room. When I asked about getting the king room or a discount on the room I got. Was told they don’t have any and all the rooms are the same price, so they don’t do discounts. Tub didn’t drain, couldn’t turn on ac or open a window, so was too hot for me to sleep. Not worth the $$ paid.

From the outside, it looks like an older Marriott. However, it was a very pleasant surprise inside. The rooms are very nice, newly renovated with hard wood floors and nice finishes. The bathrooms were just ok, nothing amazing, but the rooms were inviting. No room service. Airport shuttle very convenient.

Double charged my card and it took over 3 weeks to get my money back which in turn put my account negative had to call multiple times to get it lined out shouldn’t be that difficult! Other than that it’s a nice place with a nice restaurant and lounge area and it’s very clean and the rooms are nice! I think the lady who charged me was new but to me that’s a pretty big mistake which no one there seemed to worried about and no one seemed to care it put my account in negative for 3 weeks!

We stayed two separate nights, on a late night arrival and early departure since the airport is the most convenient to the airport. We arrived after they had frozen pipes (which they didn't tell us about until I called checking on the airport shuttle that never showed up), I didn't really mind the no food service or pool because we were only there to sleep. I do think they should've had more than one shuttle running because we had to play for a Lyft to the hotel since the one shuttle was taking crews to the downtown Marriott instead. Our room was clean and comfortable but they charged us for parking when we didn't even have a car there. I called customer service over a week ago and still haven't heard back. Not happy that we had to pay for our own transportation to the hotel and then they charged us for non-existent parking and won't get back to me about any refund.

Check in was slow. The desk staff were more interested in chatting in the office than attending to the desk. I did have to change rooms in the middle of the night due to what sounded like a constantly flushing toilet in a neighboring room but the staff were great about getting that sorted out quickly.

The location,convience, front desk,and shuttle earn 5 stars. The restraunt service was extremely slow and average. One female server would open the patio door only to walk in front of an exiting guest while they waited. Some training might be in order.
