Check in was easy and quick. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The dining staff was unbelievable. They were constantly refilling items, cleaning tables and yet somehow were unobtrusive. Great job! The pool area was inviting and fun for the kids. The fitness center was top notch and the whole place was very clean. Outstanding!

Nice hotel, good location, lots of construction in the area currently. Our room had a dumpster located below our window which was emptied very loudly around 5am each morning. Good variety of breakfast foods. Pool was nice. Parking is available for a daily fee but very tight fit.

I did like the location, the room and the staff. I did not like the breakfast stampede. Wow. Too congested at breakfast, at the elevators. In the lobby. Our floor had screaming children after 10pm. Not sure what the solution would be. We had to let 6 elevators go past our floor and it was 1 and 1/2 hours before checkout. too many people for just 2 elevators. We finally had to ride up to get on and go down with our cart. Saw people backed up into their hallways to get on as well. It was unnatural.

Amazing stay for a weekend dance competition. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. Very friendly front desk staff. Safe area. Secure parking. Breakfast was great. The pool was big and just the right temperature. Really enjoyed our stay.

I liked the convenience of the set up of their parking garage, laundry room offering, continental breakfast, and how clean the hotel was. Truly one of the better hotels we have stayed in. I also noticed they graciously welcomed local police to stop in for a quick breakfast each morning. I did not enjoy the $20 per day parking was not clearly stated anywhere, the laundry room was posted as being open until midnight, but was warned by another lodger that the laundry room door will lock itself at 10pm, the pool bottom was stainless steal and was quite slippery and a hazard for myself and my 3 year old and infant I was carrying into the pool. The breakfast menu offered chicken sausage each day we were there. It was terrible and I heard others also complain about it.

Having only 1 working elevator for staff and guests was horrible. Had to wait for very long times to try to go up to room and down. Had to take the stairs to the 7th floor several times. Awful

Easy check in . Clean room with comfortable bed. Great breakfast and loved the underground parking. The pool was heated but cloudy looking. Disappointed that there was not a hot tub. Good location for seeing all of Kansas City

I’ve stayed here before and my stays are usually pleasant but this time was far from it. Arrived Saturday to one elevator broken and the other elevator being used past capacity. Obviously unsafe and worrisome as a customer. The elevator fiasco continued until Monday. I arrived in my room and it was still dirty in some places. The floors felt disgusting, the bathroom had PUBIC HAIRS left in the shower and floor. Disgusting. To top it off, the room itself stunk like urine when the air conditioner was turned off. The two men that worked the front desk were creepy and made me feel uncomfortable several times throughout my stay. Overall, for the price I paid for this stay I am very dissatisfied and will not be staying at this hotel again.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. We had issues with the ac and someone came right up to check it. It worked good for about an hour then went back to not cooking the room very well. We were hot all night and had trouble sleeping due to it not being cool.

Mostly good. Someone always at the front desk. Everything was clean. Breakfast was usual and they didn't even start packing breakfast things up until 10am. Cons: the bed was very firm, pillows were super flat (had to get more and double stack), $20/day parking fee in garage with small narrow spaces (little difficult with full size truck), sink gurgled, sorry loose outlets everywhere in room. Had to use other things like room phone to wedge under phone chargers and CPAP cord to keep power flowing.

This was the nicest Hampton Inn we've stayed in. The staff was great and efficient, the room was clean, and the shower was excellent. Country Club Plaza was easily walkable, although there were a few steep hills to navigate to get there. Parking spaces in the garage could have been about a foot wider, but we managed. The breakfast was my least favorite, as the eggs and potatoes tasted as if they were cooked from frozen. But the waffles were excellent. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

While the room was nice enough and clean the ac struggled to keep the room comfortable at night. The mini fridge didnt work and the walls are thin at best. Not the worst experience. But not the best. The staff was friendly.

The suite was nice & clean, no odor, everything worked efficiently. friendly staff, specifically the gentleman at reception with glasses & buzzcut hair ( Didn’t get a chance to get his name) overall very secure place to stay.

We arrived last night for a cardiology appt I have at St.Lukes and this hotel is 4 minutes from there. Pulling my kiddo from school today, meant we had some school work to do, but I forgot her pencils and colors at home. The staff here eagerly found her markers and a pencil behind the desk to support her. It’s the small things that matter the most, and I am thankful that they went out of their way to support this Mama and maintaining normal for my kid as we navigate appts.

Be prepared to not get the room you reserve if you reserve online!!! We reserved a handicap room with a bathtub with a bench and handheld shower head due to our child needing this. We got in late. They checked us in and when we got to our room it was not a handicap room like we reserved. My husband went to the front desk and told them we reserved a handicap room. They switched us to a handicap room but it was a roll in shower with a bench. This did not work well for our child at all. After showers the floor in that part of the bathroom was wet which is not good when our child can’t walk very well. Very disappointed.

The staff was professional and empathetic. My flight was cancel at 11pm and when I called Delta there was a 4 hour wait time. I decided to go to the airport just to find out it was closed but before I left i informed the front desk gentleman about mentioned he will wait for our situation and keep our room open. We headed back and he was waiting with us by the entrance with waters and new keys. That gesture went a long way. Thank you!

The manager of this hotel checked us in and was VERY unfriendly and would not even look us in the face. Too bad, the hotel was great otherwise. Bad first impression!

Clean, super pretty, comfortable bedding/pillows, super hot water, nice staff, coffee is good, hot breakfast is good, location is amazing, look up country club plaza in KC, its located on the same black. So you can walk to restaurants stores. Parking garage is nice. Not one single complaint.

Loved the hotel and the area. Only negative is the hotel is up a very steep hill from the shopping/food area. You will feel your thighs burning if you do it multiple times/day. The hotel room comes with pull out sofa, which was a big help because our son’s air mattress popped night 3. Large, open room, microwave & fridge were a plus for nearly week stay. Would recommend hotel and would love to return to hotel & the area!!

The room as always was great! Breakfast unfortunately was the worst I have ever had at any Hampton Inn & Suites ever which really surprised me. Parking was nice but the stalls are extremely narrow. We drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee that isn’t really a big vehicle and it was a struggle. Not sure what you can do about the parking but you can do something about the breakfast!! Overall it was a great stay!! We will be back since our son lives close to the plaza, hopefully breakfast will be better then!!

Our stay in this hotel was the nicest we have had over the last several trips. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were enough to satisfy the entire family, parking was easy, and the pool was clean and large enough to actually swim laps. The cleanliness was outstanding! Highly recommend!
