There was a sweet lady who ran the breakfast! She kept everything clean at all times and she was just amazing! They also have a shuttle, and we were able to be picked up and dropped off at the airport, as well for shopping near by. Also, the outdoor pool was clean and very nice as it was so hot while we were visiting. I will stay here the next time I come!!!

Everything was perfect for a quick night before a flight out but beware the shuttle shuts down early 1130pm and not a minute after. Our flight was delayed which got us into KC just about 11:17 and that shuttle was not coming to get us. I had called and even said we were going to be late and cutting it close but the front desk said no problem and the driver on the other hand said he was off the clock and therefore was not coming. We were lucky enough to catch a ride with the embassy suites driver which was very understanding. Would have been a 5 star review easy had we not had the shuttle issue on the return. Will be staying with embassy suites from now on Hampton has lost a customer due to poor customer service.

We used this hotel for its location to the airport and the free shuttle service. We didn’t know until we checked in that the shuttle only ran until 11:30pm so we had to spend extra money to uber back to the hotel. It would have be nice to know the shuttle hours so we could have made other reservations. Part of the cost of the room we figured would offset with free shuttle service.

This hotel was fine for our needs -- we just needed a place to stay before a very early flight the next morning that offered free shuttle service. The shuttle service is listed as 24 hours on this booking site but actually it's not--the hours are limited and you need a reservation, but it wasn't a problem as the shuttle coordinates with the earliest flights at the airport. Beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had nice amenities. Free WiFi took way too long to access.

Hotel has been under renovation ...rooms are completely redone. Check in area is under renovation now..pool is out of order as well. Quiet hotel Comfortable beds Shuttle bus is operational Problem with hot water....

Clean property, great breakfast, and wonderful staff. AA delayed our flight several hours and we are being allowed to wait in their lobby, which has wifi, tv with cable, and places where to charge phones and other devices. Check in and check out was very fast and easy, and they have airport shuttle between 4:00 AM and 11:30 PM. Very friendly staff, from their front counter to the lady who works during breakfast and the ladies who clean the rooms. I would definitely stay here again if I comeback to this city.

Only negative was the hair in the bathroom on the floor, in the shower on the walls & in tub. Almost like someone took a shower then cut their hair & blow dried it! Otherwise, it was a great stay. Staff was great & the rest of the room was clean. Great shuttle service & guest snacks for those guests on the move.

Normally I love staying at a Hampton Inn. This one was not the best though. The windows needed black out curtains. There was tons of light coming through the shade making it impossible to sleep in. The hotel is right next to the highway so there was a lot of noise. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was decent. I would not stay here again.

We stayed 7/14 and 7/26, before and after our flight. The first night and room were excellent. The room we had upon our return had a very stale unpleasant odor and remained very humid. The air conditioning never cooled the room down all night. Next morning when we dropped our keys at the desk no one was there to tell.

The staff was very helpful. The shuttle driver helped me get my things to the room. And made my return shuttle appointment to the airport at the same time. The breakfast was on point. I misread my return flight time and was racing to get packed and out the door. The on duty receptionist got my boarding pass, checked in my bags and printed out the materials so I didn’t miss my flight. I offered her a tip which she declined.

We arrived and was told our room was not ready and finally at 1130 pm, we were able to get into our room. We had an early flight so we paid x amount of dollars to sit in lobby for an hour and a half and get no sleep. Our first day of our trip was spent taking a nap because we had no sleep the prior night. The young man at the counter was new and was in tears because he could not get ahold of management to deal with the very upset guests trying to check in. Hampton are our usual choice but we will definitely be looking elsewhere.

The place was spotless. The breakfast was delicious. Mya at the front desk could not have been more accommodating. Even the shuttle drive was great. He picked up our dinner at the restaurant and delivered it to us.I highly recommend this hotel.

Never going to stay here again- tried twice and 2nd time was worse than the 1st- hotel staff was rude, rooms are small- even remodeled rooms are not acceptable- tried calling hotel for over 4 hours to let them know our flight was delayed so we would be arriving later than originally planned but they would never answer the phone They cancelled our room even though it had already been paid for then tried charging us again for a new reservation

I called this hotel and talked with someone at the front desk letting them know that I would definitely be a very late check in, possibly as late as 6 am the following morning. They promised me that it would not be a problem and that they had put it in the computer letting others know not to cancel my reservation. When I got there they had canceled my reservation

This hotel was in terrible condition and had insufficient staff and no on site management during my stay. The shuttle was not available when I arrived at MCI. I WAITED FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR before I was told it was not coming. After paying for a taxi, I arrived at a construction store and was told I had a reservation, but no room. Am employee finally cleaned a room for me.

We flew in on an early morning flight, checking in the early morning hours, well after midnight but our room was ready and got right in. The hotel has just been remodeled and is in great condition, is very clean, comfortable, and convenient. The breakfast was hot and good. We’ll be back when we come through again.

Very disappointed in the breakfast. When we went down for breakfast at 8:30, there were no eggs, bacon, bread and only a couple of yogurts. There were about 10 people there waiting for more food while someone was standing in the kitchen talking on their phone. We left and ate at McDonalds to prevent being late to our meeting. Very Disappointed.
