Unlimited 24/7 FREE Starbucks grind & brew coffee machine. Need I say more? The free breakfast was as good as it gets as far as hotel breakfasts go, fried eggs and scrambled egg options, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, pastries and two waffle makers. Fitness center was top of the line, new equipment and a free weight dumbbell rack that you won't find in any other hotel. Pool was good, my only knock was the hot tub (which I feel like I'm splitting hairs here) it wasn't very hot, I'm sure it was probably more of a safety thing but I felt it still could have been turned up a couple degrees above lukewarm lol. Friendly staff! Definitely a hidden gem!

We were hesitant to try an unfamiliar hotel, however, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The room was modern and clean. We loved the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The downsides: the elevator was broken so there was only one at the far end of the hotel for all guests, and the pool was quite dirty with floating clumps of hair and bandaids.

This is a very run of the mill hotel. If you need somewhere to lay your head for the night, no frills, no fuss, then this is it. There was a mold/mildew smell throughout the hotel and definitely in our room. However, the room itself was very clean so, no major issues regarding cleanliness. Probably would not stay here again, however it was fine for a 6 hour stay close to the airport.

The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Good shower and beds. Breakfast was ready at 7AM sharp with free coffee. We also appreciate the gated parking lot as we had clothes and other items in the car. Great stay for the price. I would highly recommend to others.

Breakfast options very basic. No yogurt toppings etc. The A/C in the hotel didn’t seem to be working very well. It was extremely humid inside, so much so that the carpet in our room felt damp and a pad of paper I had in my bag was damp. Website stated 2 free bottles of water upon check-in. Was not offered and when I asked, was told they no longer do that. However, the front desk employee offered me a bottle of water from the market.

There was a horrible smell when you first walked in. And I thought maybe it was something they were cooking but it was all the way upstairs and I. The room as well. Immediately checked out and left. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel looked recently updated and parking was cheap. The only downside was the bed! It was awful! A saving grace was our room had a couch that had a pullout bed and it was surprising comfortable. It was also kinda weird that you can take items from the breakfast bar back to your room, but other than that it was great. Will would stay again.

The room was spacious and comfortable enough for a hotel of this type. I wasn't super impressed with the bedding or the comfort of the bed itself but it got the job done. The shower was really interesting in the toilet was behind a door that the shower was also in with the sink on the outside of it. The television worked seamlessly. The ac/heater unit worked but had a funny smell to it and seemed like it took a long time to heat or cool. The hotel layout itself is a little bit of a maze and we had a hard time finding our way to our room when parking in the back lot. They don't make it clear to you that you park in the parking lot with the use of your key card. Or at least they didn't to us when we checked in. Which isn't the biggest deal in the world but was a little bit confusing. Overall a pretty average stay but it could have been worse.

Nice property with free breakfast, restaurant on premises, convenience store, great customer service, updated rooms, etc. The only thing I DIDN'T like was that we could only turn our TV volume up to 30. It was so quiet that we couldn't hear the TV while we were eating our takeout & had to turn on closed captioning. We ended up watching a movie later on the laptop so we could have it up close and hear it well.

Was frustrated when we called for airport pickup. No answer and "voicemail" not set up. Call desk. She wouldn't advise driver. Just said "call again". TV didn't work. Staff couldn't fix. No offer of discount just "oh well, I wasn't here last night". We stayed 8 days before this and because of water problems by hotel got different room then we paid for. No refund of difference. Not sure we will try hotel again

Front desk staff showed Great customer service as always. The hotel is very clean and quiet The airport shuttle driver went above and beyond. He was friendly, helpful and positive. He made sure we knew where to go at the airport and where he would pick us up on the return flight. Overall his many kindnesses eased the stress of a 5 am shuttle trip to the airport for an early flight.

The hotel was a great stay for an early morning flight the next day. The shuttle was there on time for the airport and got us there in 10 minutes. Checking in, the front desk attendant, Lucy, was very helpful, friendly and accomodating to our needs. Beds were comfortable & pillows way better than most! Great stay.

They gave me the wrong room and wouldn’t fix it and the lady at the desk was RUDE and the younger lady was saying how she was sorry for the other lady but never staying there again. I couldn't even get my door dash without getting questioned like come on. Not worth it hotel beautiful don’t get me wrong and its clean but that lady and the room mess up so killed it for me. If they would’ve given me the room I paid for I wouldn’t care as much but I paid for 2 beds and a futon and thats NOT what I got I had multiple people that were even documented to stay so its just super annoying.

Nice clean rooms and the entire hotel was so clean. Pool area and hot tub area very clean and nice. We will be staying here again next time we travel from Kansas City International Airport. Restaurant was really good food. Transport service was top notch. We did the stay, park and fly option. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

Very comfortable room, shower and amenities. Breakfast too short. If check out is 11am, breakfast should last until 10am. Starting at 7am is not good for people who have to be gone by 7am or 8am and those who don't need to leave until 10 or 11 should not have to go eat by 9am.

Airport accessibility was primary reason I chose to stay here. The facility seemed to be fairly recently renovated. Some signs of wear on things like the outer doors, and some details shown signs of aging. But the rooms were comfortable, modern, and clean. (All public areas that we walked through were well maintained and clean as well). Breakfast was actually decent for a hotel breakfast. A few more than "standard" options were available. Happy with our stay.

The breakfast was a huge disapointment. Scrambled eggs were tasteless and a weird texture, likely powdered. Had to pay for hot beverages other than plain coffee. Mostly pastry. No furniture on the decks. Strong orange smell in lobby and halls. BUT, it was a very clean hotel! 😀

The food was absolutely delicious, but the short rib ravioli was hands-down the star of the meal! It was so flavorful and easily some of the best ravioli I’ve ever had. 🤤 Having such a great restaurant right inside the hotel was definitely a bonus and made our stay even better. Everything about Orangewood Inn & Suites is amazing, except, the courtyard......this needs to be cleaned up from all the weeds/brushy plants growing wild. It would be perfect if a few tables and chairs were located in the courtyard along with more perennial plants. We will absolutely stay here again, as it is a very nicely kept hotel.

Great stay before heading out on our flight the next morning! Took the shuttle to the airport and the driver was helpful and fantastic! We stay here everytime we have an early flight out of MCI. Parked the car all week for $7/day too! They send the driver to come pick you up upon returning to MCI. Will stay again as always! Ty!!
